This page sets out the limits of what Pakistan Era publishes, and what you should and should not rely on it for.
Who publishes this site
Pakistan Era is published through pakera.pk and is operated by Umer Kureshi as administrator of the publication.
Throughout this page, "we", "us", "our" and "the publication" mean Pakistan Era, published through pakera.pk. "You" means anyone reading or otherwise using the site. Where an earlier version of this page referred to "the Company", "the Website" or "the Service", it meant the same publication.
Everything here is general information
Articles, guides, calculators and comparisons on Pakera.pk are published for general information. They are not legal advice, tax advice, financial advice or a professional valuation, and reading them creates no advisory relationship.
This matters most for the subjects we cover most: import duties, vehicle taxes, property transfer costs, salary tax and phone prices. Those figures move, sometimes inside a single budget cycle, and the official position is always the one that counts. Our calculators estimate. They do not assess.
Accuracy, corrections and rules that change
We check figures against the source we name and we date them, but mistakes still get through and rules change after publication. We do not guarantee that every article is complete, current or free of errors.
Where two credible sources disagree, we say so rather than pick one. A single confident number would read better and be less honest.
Reporting something wrong or harmful
We publish information and comment. Nothing here is meant as an attack on any person, company, community, religion or belief, and where an article names someone it is because the story is about them.
If you find something on this site that is factually wrong, out of date, unfair to you, or that you consider hateful or offensive, tell us in either of these ways.

Include the link to the article and say what the problem is. We check it against the source we used, then correct, update or remove it as the case requires, and we write back to tell you what we did. Anything reported as hateful comes down while we review it, rather than staying up until we finish. The full procedure, including your right of reply, is set out in our Terms and Conditions.
Advertising and sponsored content
This site is free to read because it carries advertising, and we also publish sponsored articles and paid product reviews. Anything paid for is labelled on the page.
Advertisers do not see our articles before publication, cannot influence what we write, and cannot have something taken down. An ad appearing beside an article tells you nothing about the article. Links to other websites
We link out to government portals, manufacturers, network operators and other news organisations. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or privacy practices. A link is a pointer to where information came from, not an endorsement of what sits behind it.
Fair use of copyrighted material
We sometimes reproduce short extracts, figures or images owned by someone else for news reporting, comment, criticism or research. We believe this is fair use under Pakistani copyright law, and we credit the source.
If you own material used here and want it credited differently or taken down, write to info@pakera.pk and we will deal with it promptly. If you want to reuse our work, the rules are in our Terms and Conditions.
Limits of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Pakistan Era is not liable for loss or damage arising from your use of the site or from reliance on anything published here, including indirect or consequential loss.
Nothing on this page limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.
