The President's Trophy Grade-I final 2026 is State Bank of Pakistan against Markhor IT Solutions, a five-day match at the SBP Sports Complex, Karachi, from 25 to 29 October 2026. SBP topped the league on 107 points without a defeat and MIT Solutions were second on 96. Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) finished last and go down to Grade-II.
We read the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) report on the final, the final league table and the batting and bowling charts on 24 October. Below are the final details, how both sides got there, the top run scorers and wicket takers, and the players to watch. SBP were already top after four rounds, when the President's Trophy Grade-I fixtures and points table was last updated on 11 October.
The final runs from 25 to 29 October in Karachi
The President's Trophy Grade-I final is a five-day match between State Bank of Pakistan and Markhor IT Solutions at the SBP Sports Complex, Karachi, from Sunday 25 October to Thursday 29 October 2026. SBP play at their own ground.
Markhor IT Solutions, often shortened to MIT Solutions, only reached Grade-I this year. They came up from the Grade-II tournament, which makes this final a big step for a new department side. The PCB report called it their "dream year".
One small conflict: the PCB's men's domestic calendar still lists the tournament as ending on 28 October. The newer PCB report of 22 October gives 25 to 29 October for a five-day final, and five days from 25 October do end on 29 October, so we use the report.
The PCB has not said in its report how a drawn final is decided. In this month's Grade-II Silver semi-final, a draw went to the side with the first-innings lead. That rule may apply here too, but we have not seen it written for the Grade-I final, so treat it as unconfirmed.
- Day one, 25 October: the final starts in Karachi.
- 26 to 28 October: days two to four, with scorecards on the PCB match centre.
- Day five, 29 October: the result, or a draw.
- 4 November: Test players move on to the Patron's XI warm-up in Islamabad.
SBP finished top on 107 points without losing a match
State Bank of Pakistan won two of seven matches and drew five, which gave them 107 points. They were the only team past 100 and the only one unbeaten. Markhor IT Solutions were second on 96 with two wins.

| Team | Played | Won | Lost | Drawn | Points |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| State Bank of Pakistan | 7 | 2 | 0 | 5 | 107 |
| Markhor IT Solutions | 7 | 2 | 1 | 4 | 96 |
| Kingsmen Academy | 7 | 1 | 1 | 5 | 89 |
| Ghani | 7 | 2 | 2 | 3 | 89 |
| Khan Research Laboratories | 7 | 1 | 1 | 5 | 83 |
| SNGPL | 7 | 1 | 1 | 5 | 76 |
| Pakistan Television | 7 | 1 | 3 | 3 | 74 |
| OGDCL | 7 | 1 | 2 | 4 | 72 |
Look at Ghani. They won as many matches as the top two, yet finished joint third, because they lost two and drew only three. Draws clearly carried weight this season. The PCB table does not show how many points a win, a draw or a first-innings lead is worth, so we cannot split each team's total.
Mohammad Taha scored the most runs with 730
Mohammad Taha of Pakistan Television scored the most runs in the league stage, 730 at an average of 66.36, with three hundreds. Mohammad Tayyab Arif of Kingsmen Academy was three runs behind on 727. Taha has now been picked for Pakistan's Test squad.

| Batter | Team | Runs | Best | Average |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mohammad Taha | Pakistan Television | 730 | 225 | 66.36 |
| Mohammad Tayyab Arif | Kingsmen Academy | 727 | 122 | 66.09 |
| Mohammad Farooq | Markhor IT Solutions | 703 | 163 | 50.21 |
| Hasan Raza | State Bank of Pakistan | 698 | 222 | 63.45 |
| Mohammad Suleman | Kingsmen Academy | 652 | 182 | 54.33 |
Two of the top four play in the final. Mohammad Farooq scored his 703 runs at a strike rate of 111.41, with 35 sixes. That is fast for four-day cricket. Hasan Raza of SBP has 698 and made an unbeaten 128 in the last round. Salman Ali Agha's 300 is the best single score in the table, from only five matches.
Taha, Suleman and Sameer Minhas all got Test call-ups on 24 October, and the full list is in our story on the Pakistan Test squad for the Sri Lanka series.
Mohammad Amir Khan took the most wickets with 32
OGDCL fast bowler Mohammad Amir Khan took 32 wickets, the most in the league stage, even though his team were relegated. Mohammad Ilyas of Kingsmen Academy took 31 and Arshad Iqbal of KRL took 30.
| Bowler | Team | Wickets | Best | Average |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mohammad Amir Khan | OGDCL | 32 | 5-51 | 23.38 |
| Mohammad Ilyas | Kingsmen Academy | 31 | 6-57 | 20.35 |
| Arshad Iqbal | KRL | 30 | 5-55 | 24.27 |
| Mohammad Ismail | Markhor IT Solutions | 28 | 6-136 | 31.32 |
| Khalid Usman | Markhor IT Solutions | 25 | 6-23 | 15.84 |
MIT Solutions have two of the top five bowlers. Khalid Usman, a 41-year-old left-arm spinner, has the best average of anyone with 20 or more wickets, at 15.84. SBP's best are Sirajuddin with 23 and Shahid Aziz with 21.
OGDCL are relegated to Grade-II Gold
OGDCL finished bottom with 72 points and will play next season in the President's Trophy Grade-II Gold. Pakistan Television survived by two points on 74, and SNGPL by four on 76, after beating KRL in the last round.

OGDCL's season had one bright spot: Imam-ul-Haq made an unbeaten 200 against Ghani in the final round. The PCB report does not name the side that comes up in their place. Kingsmen won the Grade-II Gold final by 82 runs this month, but promotion was not confirmed in anything we read. Live scores for every domestic match sit in the PCB match centre.
