Short answer: The President's Trophy Grade-II Silver 2026-27 semi-finals began on Saturday 10 October. SASA Packaging play University of Punjab, and University of Central Punjab play Service Industries. SASA Packaging finished the league stage on top with 39 points. The tournament is listed to end on 18 October.

Grade-II Silver is one of three President's Trophy events on the PCB's men's domestic series page. The others are the Grade-II Gold semi-finals and the Grade-I event in our President's Trophy Grade-I fixtures and points table.

We read the tournament's overview, point table and match list on the PCB match centre on the evening of 11 October 2026. We found no PCB news release for this event, so the match centre is our only official source and every figure below comes from it.

Six teams played five league matches each

Silver is a single league of six teams. Every team played the other five once, and the top four went to the semi-finals. Sports Board Punjab lost all five matches and finished last with no points.

The match centre does not explain how it awards points, and we have not seen the playing conditions for this event, so we do not state the system. University of Central Punjab and University of Punjab are level on 28 points, and the match centre lists UCP second.

SASA Packaging play University of Punjab, and UCP play Service Industries

The match centre lists semi-final 1 as match 16, SASA Packaging against University of Punjab, and semi-final 2 as match 17, University of Central Punjab against Service Industries. Both started at 10:00 am on Saturday 10 October, and both are listed at 75 overs.

The semi-final table has the same four teams in the order SASA Packaging, University of Punjab, University of Central Punjab and Service Industries. We have not seen a rule that explains this seeding, so we only report the pairings as listed.

The scores on the match centre show SASA ahead and UCP well ahead

When we read the match list, both semi-finals showed the "Stumps (End of Day)" status. These are the numbers printed beside each team, and they will have moved on since.

  1. SASA Packaging 249 all out in 65.3 overs. University of Punjab 150 all out in 52.1 overs. SASA Packaging then showed 186 for 2 in 45 overs, with University of Punjab marked "yet to bat" in its second innings.
  2. University of Central Punjab 246 all out in 68.3 overs. Service Industries 127 all out in 42 overs. UCP then showed 58 all out in 23.5 overs, and Service Industries 1 for 0 in 1 over.

In the second match, those figures read as a chase. UCP lead by 119 on the first innings and then added 58, so Service Industries need 178 to win and had made 1 without loss. This is our reading of the printed scores, not a statement from the PCB, and the page could be stale.

The leaderboard was read before the semi-finals finished, and we cannot tell whether it already counts them. Treat the totals as provisional until the final match is complete.
