Two Prize Bond Draws Land on 17 August. The Official Site Does Not Publish the Schedule Everyone Quotes.
Rs 1,500 draw 107 at Faisalabad and Rs 100 draw 55 at Multan, both on 17 August. Where to check results officially, and free.

Two national prize bond draws happen on the same day this month. Monday 17 August 2026, the Rs 1,500 bond draw number 107 at the National Savings Centre Faisalabad, and the Rs 100 bond draw number 55 at Multan.
The first prize on the Rs 1,500 bond is Rs 3 million, one winner.
Now the part that matters more than the date. We went to savings.gov.pk to find the official schedule, and it is not published there in the form everyone assumes it is. That single fact explains why these searches are dominated by sites that are not the National Savings organisation.
What the official site actually has
savings.gov.pk is the real Central Directorate of National Savings site, and its prize bond draws page carries the results of past draws for download, plus a Draw Search section. What we did not find on it was a forward looking schedule of upcoming draw dates and cities.
The page also carries a last updated stamp of 26 August 2025, which is worth knowing before you rely on it for anything current. There is a helpline listed, (051) 111 267 268.
So the honest position is this: the draw dates circulating for 17 August come from reporting and aggregator schedules, not from a document we could read on the official site. The results, once drawn, will be on the official site, and that is the copy to trust.
Which denominations are still drawing
The official draws page lists recent draws for these bonds:
| Denomination | Type |
|---|---|
| Rs 100 | National prize bond |
| Rs 200 | National prize bond |
| Rs 750 | National prize bond |
| Rs 1,500 | National prize bond |
| Rs 25,000 | Premium prize bond |
| Rs 40,000 | Premium prize bond |
If you are holding a denomination that is not on that list, do not read this as confirmation that it is dead. It means the official draws page did not show a recent draw for it when we looked, and the right move is the helpline rather than an assumption. Bearer bonds in some denominations were converted to registered premium bonds in earlier years, and holders of those need to check their own position rather than a general article.
How to check a draw without getting scammed
- Go to savings.gov.pk directly. Type it. Do not click a search advert on draw day, which is when the lookalikes bid hardest.
- Download the official draw list for your denomination and draw number, and check your number against that rather than against a third party table.
- Match the draw number, not just the date. Two draws happen on 17 August for two different bonds, and numbers from one are meaningless against the other.
- Check the full number and the series. Partial matches are how misreads happen.
- Never pay anyone to check a result. Checking is free and always has been.
That last one is not hypothetical. Draw days sit in the same scam calendar as result days and scheme selections, and the pattern is identical to the fake laptop scheme selections and fake challan texts we keep documenting: an unsolicited message, a real sounding authority, and a fee to release something you supposedly won.
National Savings does not phone or text you to tell you that you have won. The draw list is published and you check it. Anyone contacting you first is running something.
If you actually win
Claims are made through National Savings against the physical bond and your identity documents, at a National Savings Centre or an authorised bank. Two practical points.
The bond itself is the instrument. A prize bond is a bearer instrument in the denominations that remain bearer, which means the paper matters. A lost bond is a lost claim in a way a lost bank statement is not.
Claim windows are limited. Prizes are not claimable indefinitely, so a bond checked once a year is a bond that can time out. If you hold bonds, check every draw for your denomination rather than saving them up.
For the exact claim procedure, documents and current deadlines, take it from the National Savings helpline or a Savings Centre rather than from any article, including this one. Those details change and a wrong claim procedure wastes a trip.

What is the first prize on the Rs 1,500 prize bond?
Rs 3 million, with one winner.

savings.gov.pk, the Central Directorate of National Savings site, which publishes draw results for download and has a draw search. Checking is free.

The official draws page showed recent draws for Rs 100, Rs 200, Rs 750 and Rs 1,500 national bonds, and Rs 25,000 and Rs 40,000 premium bonds. For anything else, call the National Savings helpline on (051) 111 267 268 rather than assuming.
