Mohammad Rizwan made 200 not out on day two of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy Gold on Wednesday 4 November 2026, and Peshawar Blues declared on 503 for 4 against Faisalabad at the Abbottabad Cricket Stadium. Rizwan faced 252 balls and hit 35 fours and one six. Faisalabad closed on 118 for 2, still 385 behind.

We read the Pakistan Cricket Board's day two report and its scores in brief, published in Lahore on 4 November. Below are all four Gold scores at stumps, the big performances, what each team needs on day three and where to watch.

Rizwan's 200 not out put Peshawar Blues in control

Peshawar Blues resumed on 306 for 3 and batted on until they declared at 503 for 4 in 115.2 overs. Rizwan went from 111 overnight to 200 not out. Najab Khan, unbeaten on 101 overnight, was out for 133. Mohammad Haris then hit 70 not out off 69 balls.

That is a big total for a first round. Faisalabad lost both openers to Mohammad Adnan, who took 2 for 26. Faham-ul-Haq made 31 and Sameer Saqib 25, both leg before wicket. Asim Ali Nasir, 35 not out, and Atiq-ur-Rehman, 24 not out, will resume on Thursday.

Top scores on day two of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy Gold 2026-27, led by Mohammad Rizwan's 200 not out

Rizwan's first hundred came on day one, his 16th in first-class cricket, as we reported in our Quaid-e-Azam Trophy day 1 scores. His 200 is the highest score of the round so far. For Faisalabad, Muddasir Zunair took 2 for 103 and Asad Raza 2 for 139.

All four Gold scores at stumps on day two

FATA lead Lahore Whites by 150 runs, Peshawar Blues are well ahead of Faisalabad, Karachi Blues and Sialkot Blues are close, and Multan have passed Islamabad's first innings with three wickets left. All four matches resume on Thursday 5 November.

The leads and deficits are our own sums from the board's scores in brief. For example, FATA's 362 against Lahore Whites' 234 gave a first-innings lead of 128, and FATA added 22 before stumps.

Shaheen's FATA lead Lahore Whites by 150 after Babar Azam's 28

FATA were bowled out for 362, with debutant Fawad Arshad making 115 off 190 balls, with 17 fours. Lahore Whites replied with 234 in only 49.2 overs. Shaheen Shah Afridi and Afaq Afridi took three wickets each, and Afaq dismissed Babar Azam for 28.

Lahore Whites had two bright spots. Teenage pacer Hammad Aziz finished with 6 for 97 from 21 overs, after four wickets on day one. Captain Aamir Jamal hit 74 off 63 balls with 12 fours and two sixes, and opener Ali Zaryab made 51. Aamir also took the only wicket in FATA's second innings.

Babar's 28 matters beyond this match. He is Pakistan's Test captain, and the first Test against Sri Lanka starts in Rawalpindi on 9 November. The full Test group is in our page on the Pakistan Test squad against Sri Lanka.

How to follow day three on 5 November

The PCB says every Gold match is streamed live on tapmad and Tamasha. Round one runs from 3 to 6 November, so day three on Thursday is the second-to-last day. Scorecards for all four matches are linked from the board's report, and its match centre carries them too.

  1. Open tapmad or Tamasha and look for the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy Gold section.
  2. Pick the match you want. All four run at the same time.
  3. For ball-by-ball scores, use the PCB match centre, which we explain in our guide to checking Pakistan domestic cricket scores.
  4. Read the PCB's close-of-play report each evening for the full scores in brief.

Day three is when these matches turn. Peshawar Blues will want to bowl Faisalabad out twice. FATA, 150 ahead with nine wickets left, can set a target. The other two games are still open.
