Ayub Medical College jobs 2026 cover 46 posts in Abbottabad: 4 department chairpersons, 39 faculty posts and 2 security managers must apply by the close of office hours on Friday 30 October 2026, and one Pre Auditor post closes on ETEA on 5 November. Every post is open to candidates from all over Pakistan. The faculty and security posts use the college's own online form and a bank fee, not ETEA.

The Medical Teaching Institution (MTI) ATH/AMC/ACD Abbottabad, which runs Ayub Medical College and Ayub Teaching Hospital, put the vacancy announcement up through ETEA project 873. We read the full advert on etea.online on 28 October 2026. With two working days left for most posts, here is every post, the fee for each group, the two routes to apply and the papers to send.

Ayub Medical College has 46 posts in five groups

The advert lists four chairperson posts, 27 faculty specialties with 39 seats, a Manager Security, an Assistant Manager Security and a Pre Auditor. The totals are our own sums of the "No. of post" column. All jobs are on contract under the MTI rules, and the domicile is all Pakistan.

The bank fee for the first four groups goes into the Dean and CEO receipt account at MCB's Ayub Medical College branch on Mansehra Road. Copy the account number from the advert itself, not from a forwarded message.

Anaesthesia and Medicine have the most faculty seats

Anaesthesia has 4 faculty seats and Medicine has 3. Anatomy, Biochemistry, Community Medicine, Critical Care, ENT, Paediatric Intensive Care and Surgery have 2 each. The other 18 specialties have 1 seat each, from Cardiology and Nephrology to Renal Transplant and Vitreoretinal Surgery.

The advert does not fix the rank. A selected doctor gets an Assistant, Associate or full Professor post depending on qualification and experience, under the MTI Policy Board criteria. A PMDC eligibility certificate and PMDC registration are mandatory with the form.

The college may offer a special salary package for anaesthesia, interventional radiology, paediatric intensive care, critical care, renal transplant and emergency medicine. For chairpersons, it asks for an MBBS with FCPS, FRCA, MRCP or a similar qualification, at least seven years as faculty, and a three year renewable term.

Apply for faculty and security posts online, then by courier

For serials 1 to 4, fill the college's online form, upload all documents as one PDF, and pay the bank fee. Then send a full hard copy package by registered courier to the Senior Manager HR. The advert says an application is complete only when both arrive before the deadline.

1. Download the prescribed application form from ayubmed.edu.pk or ath.gov.pk, or use the online form link printed in the advert.
2. Pay Rs 3,000, Rs 2,000 or Rs 1,000 by bank deposit, depending on your post, and keep the stamped candidate copy.
3. Scan the form, covering letter, degrees, experience letters, PMDC papers, CNIC, domicile, NOC if needed, four photos and the deposit slip into one PDF.
4. Submit online, or email the PDF to seniormanagerhr.ath@ayubmed.edu.pk if the portal will not take uploads.
5. Courier the hard copy package, with a screenshot of the online submission, to the Office of the Senior Manager HR, Ayub Medical College, Mansehra Road, Abbottabad.

Name three referees and attach a reference letter from your current employer and one more. Hand delivered applications are not accepted. Government doctors must apply through proper channel with an NOC, and civil servants must resign from service if selected.

The Pre Auditor post goes through ETEA until 5 November

Serial 5, Pre Auditor in IPS-04, is the only post filled through ETEA. You need an MBA (Finance), M.Com, CA inter, ICMAP inter or ACCA inter, plus three years of post qualification experience. The age limit is up to 40, and audit experience is preferred.

Create an ETEA profile, verify your CNIC at a NADRA e-Sahulat franchise with the ETEA token, then apply on project 873 and pay the test fee through 1Link. The form opened on 20 October and closes on 5 November 2026. ETEA's FAQ puts the fee at Rs 700 for BS-16 and below, but IPS-04 is the institution's own scale, so pay what your deposit slip shows. For other teaching hospitals, the ETEA projects closing in November include MTI Nowshera, Khyber Teaching Hospital and HMC Peshawar.

Shortlisting is on papers, and interviews need 70 per cent

Shortlisting is on qualifications and experience under the MTI's approved criteria, and only shortlisted candidates are called. The minimum passing mark in the interview is 70 per cent. A selected candidate serves one year on probation and goes through a background check.

Appointments are on the Institutional Pay Scale under the MTI's uniform contract policy, with a contributory provident fund. Selected clinical faculty must do institution based private practice only inside Ayub Teaching Hospital, not at private clinics. The quotas are 2 per cent for disabled candidates, 10 per cent for women and 5 per cent for minorities. There is no travel allowance for the interview.

We read the MTI ATH/AMC/ACD Abbottabad vacancy announcement for administrative, clinical and basic sciences faculty, linked as project 873 on the ETEA jobs table at etea.online, on 28 October 2026. The table shows 05-November-2026, which is the ETEA date for the Pre Auditor post only. We also opened the jobs section of Ayub Teaching Hospital's website, which carries a separate hospital advert we have not covered here. The college's own site did not load from our connection, so we could not check the online form itself. The advert gives no salaries, and the seat totals are our own sums.
