Exam times and reporting rules on the Lahore date sheet
The Lahore board asks every candidate to reach the centre 45 minutes before the paper starts. Morning papers start at 9:00 am, evening papers at 2:00 pm, and Friday evening papers at 2:30 pm. A holiday during the exam does not move any paper.
The date sheet carries a few rules worth knowing before the day:
- Reach the centre 45 minutes early, so by 8:15 am for a morning paper and 1:15 pm for an evening paper.
- Sit only in the group and at the centre printed on your roll number slip.
- Expect papers on Fridays too, in two sessions.
- Do not wait for a holiday to postpone a paper. The board says it will not.
- Check the paper length on the date sheet. Several papers run 2 or 2.5 hours, not 3.
Candidates allowed to take the Alternative Easy Course of Urdu answer extra questions in English paper II instead of translation. There is no separate English paper for them. The inter 2nd annual roll number slip for Lahore is the document that settles your group, centre and subjects.

Practical exams follow in December
The same Lahore date sheet sets the practical exams for December 2026. Part II practicals start on Tuesday 1 December, and Part I practicals for the medical technology and home economics groups run from 10 to 18 December.
Science group practicals in physics, chemistry, biology and computer science fall in the first week of December, in two daily batches. Your own day is on your practical slip. The full practical schedule, by group, is in the BISE Lahore inter practical date sheet for December.
How Lahore's dates compare with Multan's
Lahore's main papers follow almost the same calendar as Multan's. Both boards start 12th class on 3 November and 11th class on 17 November, and both finish theory on 28 November. Some subjects fall on different days, so never borrow another board's date sheet.
For example, Lahore puts Mathematics and Biology Part II on 6 November, as Multan does. But Lahore's Chemistry Part II on 12 November has a second group in the evening, and Multan's does not. The Multan board inter 2nd annual date sheet has its own list.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
Last checked on 6 November 2026, about 3:30 pm PKT. The dates and rules are from the BISE Lahore date sheet for the intermediate 2nd annual examination 2026, linked from the BISE Lahore notifications page and signed by the Controller of Examinations. We grouped some smaller subjects in the tables; the PDF lists each one with its own paper length.
