BISE Peshawar's latest SSC Annual-II 2026 date sheet puts the first written paper on Monday 12 October 2026, not 7 October. The board posted the new sheet on its website on 7 October. Written papers for Class 9 and Class 10 now run from 12 to 31 October, and practicals follow from 3 to 8 November.
We read the date sheet and the board's admission notice on the BISE Peshawar website on 9 October 2026. The admission notice of 29 September said the exam would begin on Wednesday 7 October. The sheet the board uploaded on 7 October starts on 12 October instead. The board has not published a reason for the change.
Written papers now run from 12 to 31 October
The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Peshawar lists written papers for the SSC (Secondary School Certificate, meaning Class 9 and Class 10) second annual exam from Monday 12 October to Saturday 31 October 2026. Morning papers run from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon and evening papers from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Pakistan Standard Time.
The pattern is simple once you see it. Class 10 sits a subject first, and Class 9 sits the same subject the next working day. Sundays are free. The table below shows the main morning papers as they appear on the sheet.

Evening papers cover subjects such as Health and Physical Education, Art and Model Drawing, Physiology and Hygiene, Civics, Geography, Economics, Islamic History, Education and the literature papers. The printed sheet is tightly laid out, so read your own subjects line by line on the board's file. Your roll number slip is the final word for your paper and centre.
The start moved from 7 October to 12 October
The board's re-revised admission notice, posted on 29 September, said the SSC Annual-II exam would start on Wednesday 7 October 2026 under the cluster based system. The date sheet posted on 7 October begins on Monday 12 October. That is a five day shift for the first paper.
The sheet itself carries the word "Revised" in its heading, and the board's homepage calls it the "Re-Revised Datesheet". Neither file explains what moved or why. So the safe reading is simple: the 7 October sheet replaces any older copy you printed in September.
This also means an older note from us is out of date for paper dates. The fee ladders and who can sit are still in KP second annual exam dates for 2026, but the start date there was the board's earlier plan.
Practical exams follow from 3 to 8 November
The practical date sheet for Class 9 and Class 10 runs from 3 to 8 November 2026, in three sittings a day: 9:00 to 11:00 am, 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm and 3:00 to 5:00 pm.
- 3 and 4 November: Physics and Health and Physical Education practicals.
- 5 and 6 November: Chemistry, Food and Nutrition and Electrical Wiring practicals.
- 7 and 8 November: Biology, Computer Science, Physiology and Hygiene and Plumbing and Sanitary practicals.
One thing looks off. The practical sheet labels 3 November as a Monday and 8 November as a Saturday. In the 2026 calendar, 3 November is a Tuesday and 8 November is a Sunday. Go by the date, not the weekday, and ask your school to confirm the day of your practical before you travel.
Check your paper dates in five steps
Your roll number slip and the new date sheet must agree. If they do not, the board's latest sheet and your school's written word decide. Do this today, then again the evening before each paper.
- Open the BISE Peshawar website and find "Re-Revised Datesheet - SSC Annual-II Exam 2026" in the news list.
- Open the PDF and find each of your subjects for your class, 9th or 10th.
- Note the date, the sitting (morning or evening) and the duration.
- Compare every line with your roll number slip and any older printout.
- Throw away the old printout so nobody in the house uses it by mistake.
Private candidates had their roll number slips posted on the board website from 27 September, according to the admission notice. Anyone who did not receive a slip can get a duplicate from the board's One Window Service. Regular students get theirs through their school.
Mobile phones are banned in exam halls, and the date sheet repeats that warning. Leave the phone at home or with a family member outside the centre.
Who this date sheet covers
This sheet is for candidates of BISE Peshawar only. It covers Class 9 re-appear and improvement candidates, Class 10 fresh, failed and re-appear candidates, and those adding subjects. Admission forms closed with the triple fee on 2 October, so no new forms are being taken.
Other Khyber Pakhtunkhwa boards set their own sheets. BISE Malakand, for example, posted its own revised SSC Annual-II date sheet on the same day. Intermediate students sit later: the BISE Peshawar inter second annual exam begins on 18 November.
