Cadet College Hasan Abdal Admission 2027: Last Date 4 December, Test, Age and Fee

Cadet College Hasan Abdal admission 2027 for Class 8 (O-Level, 74th Entry) is open now: the last date to apply is 4 December 2026 and the entry test is on 27 December 2026. You apply only online at admission.cch.edu.pk, and the registration fee is Rs 7,000 plus Rs 58 bank charges.

Parents usually ask three things: is my son the right age, where is the test, and how much does it cost after selection. The college's own admission page answers the first two clearly, and the third only partly. We read the college's admission, A-Level, scholarship and fee pages and opened the online portal on 25 October 2026.

CCH Class 8 admission 2027 closes on 4 December 2026

Cadet College Hasan Abdal says on its admission page that admission is open, with the last date to apply on 4 December 2026 and the entry test on 27 December 2026. Admission happens once a year, in Class 8, with very few seats in A-Level.

The college takes about 120 boys a year into Class 8 on what it calls an "All Pakistan Open Merit, Need Blind" policy. It says no quota is set aside for any region. Every seat is open merit.

Your son must be 12 to 14 on 1 August, with no relaxation

CCH says a Class 8 candidate must not be under 12 or over 14 years of age on 1 August of the year of entry. It adds that no relaxation of the age limit is allowed. An attested copy of the NADRA B-Form must go with the application.

For the 2027 entry, that means 1 August 2027 is the date to count from. Work out the age from the B-Form, not from the school register, because the B-Form is what the college checks. If your son does not have one yet, registering a child for a NADRA B-Form takes time, so start now.

We are not giving a birth date range here. The rule depends on the exact reading of "under 12" and "over 14", and the college's office can confirm a borderline case in one phone call.

Apply online in five steps and wait for the roll number slip by email

Create an account on the CCH admission portal, fill in the form for O-Level (74th Entry), upload the B-Form, pay the Rs 7,058 registration fee and submit. The college approves the form by email and later enables the roll number slip on the portal.

1. Open admission.cch.edu.pk. It leads to the CCH sign up page.
2. Choose Sign Up, select O-Level (74th Entry), and say whether you are an international applicant.
3. Enter the candidate's name, B-Form number and an email address you check daily.
4. Fill in the form, attach the attested B-Form and pay Rs 7,000 plus Rs 58 bank charges.
5. Wait for the approval email, then print the roll number slip from the portal when it appears.

The college says it accepts only online applications. Manual forms are neither available nor accepted. It also says roll number slips are sent only through the online portal, so do not wait for a letter.

The written test covers Maths, English with Islamiat, and Urdu with Science

The CCH entry test is a three-hour written paper in Mathematics, English plus Islamiat, and Urdu plus General Science. It comes as one booklet with space for each answer. No extra sheet is given, so answers must fit the space provided.

Non-Muslim candidates may leave the Islamiat part and write "NON MUSLIM" on the answer sheet. The Islamiat part must be attempted in English. The college says the syllabus in the prospectus is a guide, and any suitable question can appear in any form.

Test centres listed by the college are Saudi Arabia and the UAE (in person), Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Karachi, Quetta and Abbottabad, plus an online option for other overseas candidates. If a centre is not feasible, candidates are moved to another one.

Final selection is on overall merit in the test, interview and medical. The college states that the Principal's decision is final.

Fees after selection rise every year and late payment is fined

CCH publishes a tentative fee schedule for the class joining on 1 July 2027. Fees are charged quarterly in advance, rise by 10 per cent a year, and late payment costs Rs 200 a day. The schedule still needs Board of Governors approval.

Clothing, footwear, books, stationery and personal travel are charged on top. The college also warns that long overdue fees can lead to suspension, removal from the rolls and withheld documents. Budget for at least five years, not just the first quarter.

Limited financial help exists. CCH says scholarships and financial aid are decided after final selection, on merit and family finances, and are treated as Qarz-e-Hasna, an interest-free loan. Merit scholarships for top students are reviewed at the end of each year.

Other cadet colleges close earlier, and Okara closes on 2 November

CCH is not the only option, and some deadlines come much sooner. Cadet College Okara closes applications on 2 November 2026 and tests on 14 November. Cadet College Sanghar tests on 31 January 2027. Compare before you choose.

The full list, with fees and test dates for Okara, Sanghar, Jhelum and Murree, is in the cadet college admission 2027 last dates roundup. For a government boarding school route in Punjab, Daanish School admission is another path many families compare.
