iPhone 18 Pro Official Price in Pakistan Is Rs 565,000, PTA-Approved

The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are on sale in Pakistan through Mercantile, Apple's authorised distributor, at a starting price of Rs 565,000 and Rs 605,000. Both come PTA-approved, so they work on any Pakistani SIM from day one, with a two-year warranty.

Those two prices come from Mercantile's own paid launch notice, published on 25 September 2026. Mercantile's website lists both phones but does not show a price. We checked its product pages on 30 September 2026 and the price display was switched off for both models. So ask the reseller for the exact figure for the storage you want before you pay.

The phones reached stores worldwide on 18 September, after Apple showed them on 9 September. Pakistan's official stock followed about a week later.

iPhone 18 Pro official price in Pakistan from Mercantile

Mercantile has announced Rs 565,000 for the iPhone 18 Pro and Rs 605,000 for the iPhone 18 Pro Max. These are starting prices. Its notice does not list the higher storage models, and its website shows no prices, so the 512GB, 1TB and 2TB figures are not public yet.

When we checked, Mercantile's product records showed Burgundy as the colour in stock for the 256GB model. The other colours were listed but marked inactive. That can change daily, so treat it as a snapshot.

The starting price almost certainly means 256GB, since that is the smallest size Apple sells. Mercantile's notice does not say so in words, though.

PTA-approved and a two-year warranty come with the official set

An official iPhone 18 Pro is already registered with PTA, so no tax is due when you put in a SIM. Mercantile's product pages list 12 months of Apple warranty plus 12 months of Mercantile warranty, which makes two years in total.

The same pages call it "PTA-approved with Protection Plan". Mercantile's launch notice says the plan covers one free repair for eligible accidental damage: a front screen, the back glass or liquid damage. We have not seen the plan's full terms, so read them at the counter.

That warranty is the real difference. A phone brought from Dubai or the US carries Apple's warranty from that country. Repairs under it in Pakistan are not guaranteed.

How the official price compares with an imported iPhone 18 Pro

On our estimate, an imported 256GB iPhone 18 Pro costs at least Rs 427,000 after the known taxes. The official set costs Rs 565,000. So the saving from importing is at most about Rs 138,000, and smaller once the unpublished duties are added.

We worked this out from Apple's US price. The 256GB iPhone 18 Pro is $1,199 on apple.com and the Pro Max is $1,299. At the State Bank's rate of Rs 277.31 to the dollar, that is about Rs 332,500 and Rs 360,200.

The tax column counts only the parts we could confirm in FBR's own law: 25% sales tax and Rs 11,500 income tax for an active taxpayer. The same two parts drive every iPhone 18 Pro PTA tax figure we have worked out. Customs duty and levy are missing, so the real imported total is higher. The payment slip from PTA's DIRBS system is the only exact figure.

So the imported phone is cheaper on paper. But you also pay for the flight or the courier, you carry the risk yourself, and you get no local warranty.

Where to buy an official iPhone 18 Pro and pay in instalments

Mercantile sells through its authorised resellers, not through its own online store. Its website has a reseller finder by city. Its launch notice also names seven banks for instalment plans and three telecom partners with their own offers.

• Banks named for instalments: HBL, Meezan Bank, Bank Alfalah, Faysal Bank, Standard Chartered, Askari Bank and UBL.
• Telecom partners: Jazz, Zong and PTCL.

Mercantile has not published the instalment rates. Each bank sets its own markup and tenure, so compare the total you will repay, not the monthly figure. The usual routes for buying an iPhone on instalments still apply here.

Before you pay, run these checks:

1. Find the shop on Mercantile's reseller list for your city.
2. Ask for the price of your exact storage size in writing.
3. Dial *#06# on the display set and send each IMEI by SMS to 8484.
4. Get a printed invoice that names Mercantile's warranty.
5. Read the Protection Plan terms before you sign.

A shop that will not let you check the IMEI in front of you is a shop to walk out of. The same care matters even more when buying a used iPhone later.
