Keenjhar Lake Resort Booking in Sindh: Hut Prices, Rules and Contact Numbers (2026 List)
Keenjhar Lake Resort huts cost Rs 14,000 to Rs 20,000 a night for up to six adults. See every hut, the house rules, check-in times and the booking numbers.

Keenjhar Lake Resort huts cost from Rs 14,000 a night for a deluxe hut, Rs 17,000 for a super deluxe and Rs 20,000 for an executive hut, and each takes up to six adults plus a few children. The resort is run by the Sindh Tourism Development Corporation (STDC) in Thatta district. You book on STDC's resort page or by calling 0322-1072637, and check-in is at 4 pm.
We read the Keenjhar Lake Resort booking page and STDC's home page on 25 October 2026. Below are the three hut types and their prices, the house rules that catch families out, the booking numbers, and why the price on STDC's home page is lower than any hut you can book.
Keenjhar Lake Resort has three hut types, from Rs 14,000 to Rs 20,000
The resort lists a Deluxe hut from Rs 14,000 a night, a Super Deluxe from Rs 17,000 and an Executive Hut from Rs 20,000. Each sleeps up to six adults, and all three list family rooms, a kitchenette, parking and Wi-Fi.
| Hut type | From, per night | Guests | Per adult if 6 share (our arithmetic) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Deluxe | Rs 14,000 | Up to 6 adults | About Rs 2,333 |
| Super Deluxe | Rs 17,000 | Up to 6 adults | About Rs 2,833 |
| Executive Hut | Rs 20,000 | Up to 6 adults | About Rs 3,333 |
Split six ways, a hut is good value for a family or a group of friends. The catch is that the "from" price is the starting rate. Weekend and holiday nights may cost more, so read the total on the booking screen.
The page does not explain how the three huts differ beyond the name and price. Ask the booking line what you get for the extra Rs 3,000 or Rs 6,000, such as size, view or bathroom, before you pay for the dearer one.

Check-in is 4 pm and checkout is 3 pm
Keenjhar Lake Resort's page sets check-in at 4:00 pm and checkout at 3:00 pm. That gives a day visitor almost a full extra day at the lake, but it also means an early arrival waits for the hut.
Plan the drive so you arrive close to 4 pm. If you reach Keenjhar in the morning, spend the first hours by the water and keep the car loaded. On the way out, the 3 pm checkout leaves time to drive home in daylight in most seasons.
Cooking, wood fires and loud music are not allowed
The resort's rules say cooking is not allowed in the room, wood fires are strictly banned, and loud music is not allowed. Guests may hold a barbecue at the back of the rooms. Up to six adults and a few children may stay in one hut.
| Rule on the resort page | What it means for you |
|---|---|
| Cooking not allowed in room | Bring cooked food or plan to barbecue outside |
| Fire with wood strictly prohibited | Use charcoal in a proper grill, not a wood campfire |
| Bar-B-Q allowed at the back of rooms | Set up behind the hut, not on the front lawn |
| Loud music not allowed | Keep speakers low, especially at night |
| Maximum 6 adults and a few children per hut | Book a second hut for a bigger group |
One line on the page needs a phone call. Every hut lists a "kitchenette" as an amenity, yet the rules ban cooking in the room. Ask whether the kitchenette may be used for tea and warming food, or only as storage.

Keenjhar is one of seven STDC properties. If the huts are full, the STDC resorts across Sindh include cheaper rooms in Sehwan, Larkana and Hyderabad.
STDC's home page lists Keenjhar from Rs 10,200, but no hut costs that
STDC's home page shows Keenjhar Lake Resort "from Rs 10,200", while the resort's own page lists no hut below Rs 14,000. Book on the resort page and expect at least Rs 14,000 unless STDC confirms a lower rate in writing.
The gap is Rs 3,800 a night. It may be an old rate left on the front page, but STDC has not said so. If anyone quotes you Rs 10,200, ask which hut that buys and get it by email before you travel.
STDC's "Booking Conditions" page returned an error when we opened it, so we could not read the advance or cancellation terms. Ask about both before you pay, and keep every message.
Stay safe at the lake
Keenjhar is a large open lake, and open water is no place to be careless. Keep children away from the water's edge unless an adult is right beside them, and insist on life jackets for any boat ride.
The resort page does not mention boating or lifeguards, so do not assume either. Check PMD's forecast the day before, and if a storm or strong wind is due, move the trip. For any complaint during the stay, STDC lists 0322-1072637 as its complaints number.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
We read the Keenjhar Lake Resort page on STDC's booking subdomain and STDC's home page on 25 October 2026. The resort page gave the three hut types and "from" prices, the six-adult limit, check-in and checkout times, the house rules, the amenities and the contact numbers. STDC's home page gave the Rs 10,200 starting price. STDC's booking conditions page returned "404 Not Found", so the advance, payment and cancellation rules are not verified, and the page does not describe how the hut types differ or whether boating is offered. The per-adult figures are our arithmetic.
