After two days Invincibles lead with two wins from two

Invincibles have two wins from two matches, counting day 1 and day 2. Conquerors and Strikers each have one win. Stars have none from one, and Challengers none from two. This is our own count, because the PCB had not published a points table in its day 2 report.

The day 1 results, which we used for this table, are in our report on Eyman Fatima's century on opening day. Invincibles beat Challengers by 72 runs, and Conquerors beat Stars by 16 runs.

Wins after two days of the National Women's T20 Tournament: Invincibles 2, Conquerors 1, Strikers 1, Stars 0, Challengers 0

The next two matches are on Tuesday 13 October

The PCB says the fifth and sixth matches will be played on Tuesday 13 October. The report does not name the teams for those matches, so check the PCB's fixture list before you travel.

  1. Day 2 was played on Sunday 11 October at Bohranwali Ground, Faisalabad.
  2. Monday 12 October has no match, because the next fixtures are on Tuesday.
  3. Matches 5 and 6 are on Tuesday 13 October.
  4. The final is at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad, on Sunday 25 October.

The format, squads and prize money are explained in our page on the National Women's T20 Tournament squads and schedule. The tournament has five teams, 21 matches and a final between the top two.

One small difference between PCB documents: the pre-tournament release said Strikers would play Challengers at the Jawad Club Ground, while the day 2 report says both matches were at Bohranwali Ground. We follow the match report.

The winners get PKR 1.5 million

The PCB says the tournament carries more than PKR 3 million in prize money. The winners receive PKR 1.5 million, and the runners-up PKR 1 million. The PCB says the final will be live-streamed on Tapmad and Tamasha in Pakistan.

Six of the squad players are with the Pakistan U19 team in the tri-series and join their teams once it ends. That means some squads will gain players only after the tri-series ends on 16 October, so the later matches may see stronger sides than the early ones.
