Eyman Fatima hit 100 off 49 balls as Invincibles beat Challengers by 72 runs on the opening day of the National Women's T20 Tournament in Faisalabad on Saturday 10 October 2026. In the other match, Conquerors defended 120 for nine and beat defending champions Stars by 16 runs.

We read the PCB match report and the scorecards on the PCB match centre on the evening of 10 October. Both games started at 10:00 am, one at Bohranwali Ground and one at Jawad Club. The tournament is the main domestic event for Pakistan's women this autumn, and the national team players are spread across all five sides.

Day one gave a clear message. A big total wins, and a small total can still win if the bowlers hold their nerve. Strikers, captained by Pakistan captain Fatima Sana, did not play on the first day.

Day 1 results of the National Women's T20 Tournament 2026-27

Invincibles beat Challengers by 72 runs and Conquerors beat Stars by 16 runs on 10 October 2026. Both winners batted first. Eyman Fatima of Invincibles and Gull Rukh of Conquerors were named players of the match.

Seventy-two runs is a heavy margin in a 20-over game. It will matter if the table is close at the end, because only the top two teams reach the final on 25 October.

Eyman Fatima's 100 off 49 balls set up the 72-run win

Eyman Fatima scored exactly 100 from 49 balls, with 12 fours and six sixes, the PCB says. Her innings took Invincibles to 175 for four. Sidra Amin added 48 not out. Leg-spinner Syeda Aroob Shah then took three for 24 to bowl Challengers out for 103.

That is 84 runs from boundaries alone, out of her 100. Eyman is one of the players the PCB lists in Pakistan's T20I squad for the 2026 Women's Asia Cup, so this is the kind of form the selectors want to see.

Challengers did get two wickets each from Umm-e-Hani, for 19 runs, and Rabia Rani, for 26 runs. Neither could stop the flow. In reply, Challengers lost wickets steadily. Their captain Ayesha Zafar top-scored with 27, and the innings ended in the 17th over.

Conquerors defended 120 against defending champions Stars

Conquerors made only 120 for nine at Jawad Club, but bowled Stars out for 104 in 19.3 overs. Gull Rukh scored 42 for Conquerors. Humna Bilal took two for 13 and Neha Shermeen two for 27 to close the game.

Stars had the better of the first half. Samina Aftab took two wickets for just four runs. Momina Riasat took two for 17, and Diana Baig two for 33. A target of 121 looked easy.

It was not. Minahil top-scored for Stars with 35, but nobody stayed with her long enough. Stars won this tournament last season, so a 16-run loss on day one is a poor start for Tuba Hassan's side.

Here is how the top performers compare across both games:

  1. Eyman Fatima (Invincibles): 100 off 49 balls, 12 fours, 6 sixes, player of the match.
  2. Sidra Amin (Invincibles): 48 not out.
  3. Gull Rukh (Conquerors): 42, player of the match.
  4. Samina Aftab (Stars): 2 for 4, the cheapest figures of the day.
  5. Syeda Aroob Shah (Invincibles): 3 for 24, the best bowling of the day.
Best bowling on day 1: Syeda Aroob Shah 3 for 24, Samina Aftab 2 for 4, Humna Bilal 2 for 13

Where the five teams stand after day 1

After one day, Invincibles and Conquerors have one win each, Stars and Challengers have one loss each, and Strikers have not played. Each team plays eight league games, so the table will change many times before the final on 25 October.

Invincibles110Gull Feroza
Conquerors110Muneeba Ali
Strikers000Fatima Sana
Stars101Tuba Hassan
Challengers101Ayesha Zafar

We built this table from the two results. The PCB release does not give its points system, so we have not added points. Invincibles sit first here only because their winning margin is bigger.

The format is a double league. Every team plays the other four twice. That is 20 league games, plus the final at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad, as set out in the full squads and schedule for the tournament. The winners get Rs 1.5 million and the runners-up Rs 1 million.

Next matches on Sunday 11 October

Strikers play their first game on Sunday 11 October against Challengers at Jawad Club. Conquerors meet Invincibles at Bohranwali Ground, a game between the two day-one winners. Both start at 10:00 am, with the toss at 9:30 am.

Challengers lost by 72 runs and play again the next morning. That is a hard turnaround. Strikers, with Fatima Sana, Eman Naseer and Nashra Sundhu, come in fresh.

Pakistan's men are busy on the same day. The second T20I against Sri Lanka is in Rawalpindi on Sunday evening, and the October and November cricket schedule lists every men's, women's and domestic fixture in one place.

How to follow the National Women's T20 Tournament

The PCB posts a match report and full scorecards after each day's games. Only the final on 25 October is announced for live streaming, on Tapmad and Tamasha in Pakistan. League games have no announced stream.

The simplest way to follow along:

  • Open the PCB website in the afternoon for the day's match report, which usually comes out a few hours after play.
  • Use the PCB match centre for ball-by-ball scorecards of each game.
  • If you live in Faisalabad, the two league grounds are Bohranwali Ground and Jawad Club. The PCB has not said anything about entry or tickets.

Six young players are away with the Pakistan U19 side in the U19 Women's tri-series in Faisalabad, which ends on 16 October. They join their teams after that, which may change some line-ups in the second half of the league.
