OEC Belarus Jobs 2026: Advertisement 223 for Masons, Plasterers and Welders, Apply by 15 November
OEC Advertisement 223 has 6 Belarus jobs for masons, plasterers and welders aged 31 to 40 with basic Russian. Rs 1,000 fee, apply on OEC by 15 November 2026.

OEC Belarus jobs are open under Advertisement No. 223: 6 posts for men aged 31 to 40, split as 2 stonemasons, 2 plasterers and 2 electric gas welders, with basic Russian required and applications closing on 15 November 2026. You apply on the Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC) job portal after paying a Rs 1,000 fee against a PSID.
OEC is the government's own recruitment company under the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development. This Belarus demand first went up in September. OEC reissued it as Advertisement No. 223, dated 30 October 2026, with the full job list attached. We read that advert and OEC's job portal data on 1 November 2026, and one figure in them does not match, so read the salary section before you pay.
OEC wants 6 skilled tradesmen for one Belarus employer
Advertisement No. 223 asks for 6 workers for a single employer in Belarus that OEC calls its client. There are 2 posts each for stonemasons, plasterers and electric gas welders. All 6 are for men aged 31 to 40 with vocational training in the trade.
| Job | Posts | Age | Gender | Russian |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Stonemason | 2 | 31 to 40 | Male | Basic |
| Plasterer | 2 | 31 to 40 | Male | Basic |
| Electric Gas Welder, 4th category | 2 | 31 to 40 | Male | Basic |
The age band is unusual. Most Gulf adverts start at 21 or 25. Here a 28 year old welder with ten years on site is still too young, and the portal shortlists by age automatically.

Each trade has its own skill list, and winter masonry is on it
The advert lists detailed skills for each trade. Masons must lay stone walls in freezing weather, plasterers must know dry mixes and surface preparation, and welders need arc and shielding gas welding in every position, including overhead work.
- Stonemason: laying and dressing seams, stone masonry in winter conditions with heating and chemical additives, bricklaying and backfill, pneumatic and electric tools, and rules for slinging and moving loads.
- Plasterer: preparing surfaces, dry mix and ready mix materials and their storage, types of plaster, manual and machine application tools, and fire and work safety.
- Electric gas welder: AC and DC arc welding, shielding gas welding, carbon steel, stainless steel and cast iron, reading welding symbols and drawings, and electrical safety category IV.
All three trades share the same personal rules. You need a medical certificate showing fitness for the work. The advert also asks for no smoking, no alcohol and no drug use. It lists medical conditions that rule people out, including some breathing, skin and kidney conditions.
Basic Russian is a hard requirement, not a nice extra
Every post needs basic Russian. The advert defines it as reading simple texts, signs and adverts, making simple sentences and understanding basic speech. Belarus uses Russian widely on building sites, so this filter will decide most applications.
If you have never studied Russian, two weeks before the deadline is not enough time to start. Apply only if you can already read a safety sign or a simple instruction. Be honest at interview, because a language check is easy for an employer to run in five minutes.
The salary is 2,000 a month, but the currency is printed two ways
The advert prints the salary as 2,000 Russian rubles for each trade. OEC's job portal lists the same jobs at a maximum of 2,000 Belarusian rubles. These are different currencies, and the gap between them is large, so confirm with OEC before paying.
We think the portal entry is more likely right. Belarus pays wages in Belarusian rubles, and 2,000 Russian rubles a month would be far below any legal wage there. But neither document had been corrected when we read them, and OEC has not published a correction. Ask the helpdesk which currency applies and whether 2,000 is the gross or the take-home figure.

The contract is 1 year of shift work with a dormitory
OEC lists three terms. The contract is fixed for 1 year and cannot outlast the special work permit. The work runs in shifts. The employer provides a dormitory. Food, tickets, insurance and overtime are not mentioned in the advert or the portal data.
- Contract: fixed term, 1 year, not longer than the special work permit.
- Schedule: shift work.
- Housing: dormitory provided.
Plan for a Belarus winter. Masons are told outright that they will lay stone in freezing conditions. Ask at interview who pays the air ticket, whether winter clothing is given and how meals work, because none of it is in writing yet.
Apply on OEC's portal and pay Rs 1,000 against a PSID first
You apply through OEC's website. The advert says you must generate a PSID, a payment slip ID, and pay before you submit. OEC's job data sets the fee at Rs 1,000 for each of the three jobs. Applications close on 15 November 2026.
- Open oec.gov.pk and find "Pakistani Skilled Workers Required for Employment in Belarus", then click to apply.
- Sign up or log in on the OEC job portal with your CNIC.
- Choose the one trade that matches your training: stonemason, plasterer or welder.
- Generate the PSID and pay the Rs 1,000 fee against it.
- Upload your trade certificate, experience letters and passport, then submit before 15 November 2026.
For technical problems, the advert lists OEC's helpdesk at 0311-0011-632 and helpdesk@oec.gov.pk. The general steps to apply for OEC overseas jobs cover the portal sign up in more detail.

OEC has other adverts open in the same weeks. The OEC Saudi woodworking jobs close a day earlier, on 14 November. Never pay a private agent who claims to hold these Belarus posts. OEC fills them itself, and the protector stage at the Protector of Emigrants office comes only after selection.

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
Last checked 1 November 2026. We read OEC Advertisement No. 223, dated 30 October 2026, OEC's announcement list on oec.gov.pk and the three Belarus entries in OEC's job portal data on that date. The jobs, ages, skills, language rule, terms, helpdesk and closing date come from the advert. The Rs 1,000 fee and the Belarusian ruble figure come from the portal data. We could not confirm which salary currency is right, the employer's name or city, or whether food and tickets are included.
