Pakistan Era Welcomes Ahmad Ali as Technology Journalist and Multimedia Producer

Pakistan Era has a new technology journalist and multimedia producer. Ahmad Ali joined the team this October, bringing a background in content research, product testing and video production to our coverage of technology and digital life in Pakistan.

A new voice on the technology desk

Ahmad studied media and communications at Government College University Lahore, with a focus on digital communication and multimedia. He is currently a Content Researcher at VideoWaliSarkar, where he researches long-form video topics, tests products and coordinates shoots, and he continues that work alongside his new role with us. Before that, he worked in the client service and strategy department at ActiveMedia Pakistan.

That mix of research and production experience is exactly what our technology coverage needs: someone who checks a product closely before writing about it, and who thinks about how a story works as video as well as text.

What Ahmad will cover

Ahmad's early work will focus on consumer technology and mobile devices, product research and hands-on testing, and digital services that Pakistani readers use every day. He also contributes to our multimedia and video-led storytelling, helping turn a story into something people can watch as well as read.
