Pakistan U19 Squad for Asia Cup 2026: Farhan Yousuf Captain, India Match on 8 November in Oman
Pakistan named 15 players for the U19 Asia Cup 2026 in Oman, led by Farhan Yousuf. See the squad, UAE, India and Nepal fixtures at 10 am PKT, and the coaches.

Pakistan have named a 15-player squad for the ACC Men's U19 Asia Cup 2026 in Oman, from 5 to 14 November, with Farhan Yousuf as captain. Pakistan play the UAE on 6 November, India on 8 November and Nepal on 10 November, all at 10 am PKT, and they defend the title they won by beating India in the last final.
The board announced the squad on Tuesday 27 October, and the team is due to leave Karachi for Oman on Thursday 29 October. Below are all 15 names, the full group fixtures with grounds and times, the coaching staff, and what Pakistan need to reach the semi-finals.
Farhan Yousuf captains a 15-player Pakistan U19 squad
Farhan Yousuf leads the side. Abdul Qadir and Hamza Zahoor are the wicketkeepers, and Mohammad Huzaifa and Niqab Shafiq are the two frontline spinners. Thirteen of the 15 were in the side that beat England 3-1 in a four-match Youth ODI series in September.

| Group | Players |
|---|---|
| Captain | Farhan Yousuf |
| Wicketkeepers | Abdul Qadir, Hamza Zahoor |
| Batters and all-rounders | Usman Khan, Hayam Khan, Jahangir Bilal, Huzaifa Ahsan, Ahmed Hussain, Hasnain Abbas Dar |
| Spinners | Mohammad Huzaifa (left-arm wrist spin), Niqab Shafiq (left-arm orthodox) |
| Rest of the attack | Abdul Subhan, Mohammad Seyam, Ali Raza, Rizwanullah |
The two new faces from the England series are Ali Raza and Huzaifa Ahsan. The grouping of the last four players is ours, because the published reports did not give each bowler's style. No travelling reserves were named.
Most of these players came through the board's age-group system this autumn. The National U19 Cup final was played only on 26 October, a day before the squad was named.
Pakistan play the UAE, India and Nepal in Group A
Eight teams play in two groups of four. Pakistan are in Group A with India, Nepal and the UAE. Group B has Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Malaysia. The semi-finals are on 12 November and the final on 14 November.

| Date | Match | Ground | Start (PKT) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Friday 6 November | Pakistan v UAE | OCA Ground 2 | 10:00 am |
| Sunday 8 November | Pakistan v India | OCA Ground 1 | 10:00 am |
| Tuesday 10 November | Pakistan v Nepal | OCA Ground 1 | 10:00 am |
| Thursday 12 November | Semi-finals | Not yet named | Not yet named |
| Saturday 14 November | Final | Not yet named | Not yet named |
OCA stands for the Oman Cricket Academy grounds. Oman is one hour behind Pakistan, so a 10 am PKT start is 9 am in Oman and 9 am in the UAE too. Reports gave the start time in PKT; we have not seen it on an official fixture page.
Pakistan v India is on Sunday 8 November at 10 am PKT
The game every Pakistani fan will look for is against India on Sunday 8 November at OCA Ground 1, starting at 10 am PKT. It is a rematch of the last final, which Pakistan won by 191 runs at the ICC Academy Ground in Dubai.
The fixture order helps Pakistan. They start against the UAE, then meet India with one match behind them, and finish against Nepal. Two wins from three should be enough to reach the semi-finals, which take the top two from each group. That two-win target is our reading of a four-team group, not a published rule.

Pakistan are defending champions after a 191-run final win
Pakistan won the last U19 Asia Cup in the UAE, beating India by 191 runs in a one-sided final at the ICC Academy Ground, Dubai. That makes them the side to beat in Oman, and it puts real pressure on a new captain.

The September series win over England is the best recent guide to this group, with 13 of the same players. We found no broadcaster or stream for the tournament in anything we read. For the rest of the month's cricket, including the Tests against Sri Lanka, see the Pakistan cricket schedule for November 2026.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
We read two published reports of the board's squad announcement on 28 October 2026. They gave the names, groups, fixtures, grounds, the 10 am PKT start, the staff and the departure date. The Pakistan Cricket Board's site (pcb.com.pk) refused our tools, and the Asian Cricket Council's site returned no fixture text, so the fixtures and times are as reported and not confirmed by an official page. The Oman time conversion and the two-win reading are ours. We found no broadcaster announcement and no list of reserves.
