Pakistani Passport Fee in Netherlands: €40 to €840 at The Hague (2026 List)
Pakistani passport fee in the Netherlands: €40 for 5 years and €60 for 10 years at The Hague, with 72 and 100 page, urgent and lost fees and delivery times.

A Pakistani passport in the Netherlands costs €40 for 36 pages and 5 years on normal processing, and €60 for 10 years, at the Embassy of Pakistan in The Hague. Urgent costs €70 and €90. A 72 page book starts at €70 and a 100 page book at €80. You pay only by local debit card on the PIN machine; cash is refused in every case.
We read the embassy's consular services page on 25 October 2026. Below is the full table for new, first lost and second lost passports, the delivery times (the page gives two different answers), the online renewal option, and two other fees Dutch Pakistanis often need: renouncing citizenship and registering a child's birth.
Pakistani passport fee in the Netherlands for new and renewal cases
The Hague charges €40 for a 36 page passport for 5 years and €60 for 10 years on normal processing. Urgent costs €70 and €90. A 72 page book costs €70 to €160, and a 100 page book €80 to €210, depending on years and speed.
| New or renewal | 5 years, normal | 5 years, urgent | 10 years, normal | 10 years, urgent |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 36 pages | €40 | €70 | €60 | €90 |
| 72 pages | €70 | €110 | €90 | €160 |
| 100 pages | €80 | €145 | €110 | €210 |
A small pattern worth noticing: a 72 page normal book costs the same €70 as a 36 page urgent one. If you are not in a hurry, you can have twice the pages for the price of speed.

Lost passport fees in the Netherlands, from €80 to €840
A first lost passport costs double the new fee, from €80 for 36 pages to €420 for an urgent 100 page, 10 year book. A second loss costs four times, from €160 to €840. Bring a Dutch police report that names the lost passport number.
| Lost passport | 5 years, normal | 5 years, urgent | 10 years, normal | 10 years, urgent |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 36 pages, first loss | €80 | €140 | €120 | €180 |
| 72 pages, first loss | €140 | €220 | €180 | €320 |
| 100 pages, first loss | €160 | €290 | €220 | €420 |
| 36 pages, second loss | €160 | €280 | €240 | €360 |
| 72 pages, second loss | €280 | €440 | €360 | €640 |
| 100 pages, second loss | €320 | €580 | €440 | €840 |
For a lost passport, the embassy asks for your valid NICOP, the original police report from any Dutch police office with the lost passport number, a photocopy of the lost passport if you have one, and your Dutch residence card or valid visa.
The 10 year passport costs €6 a year
At €60 for 10 years, a 36 page passport costs €6 a year, against €8 a year for the €40 five year book. For adults the 10 year passport is the cheaper choice, and it saves a second trip to The Hague.
These sums are our arithmetic from the embassy's table. Urgent adds €30 on both the 5 and 10 year 36 page books. On the official pages we read, the Netherlands sits mid table in Europe: €35 in Madrid and Milan, €36 in Frankfurt, €41 in Paris and €55 in Athens. The 5 or 10 year passport fee in Pakistan shows the same saving in rupees.

Delivery: 4 or 8 weeks normal, 2 or 3 weeks urgent
The embassy's fee table labels normal as 4 weeks and urgent as two weeks. A note under the same table says normal delivery takes 8 weeks and urgent three weeks. Plan on the longer times, 8 weeks normal and 3 weeks urgent, to be safe.
Both figures sit on the same official page, and we cannot tell which is current. If you have a flight booked, choose urgent and still allow three weeks. Once the passport is printed in Islamabad, the usual passport tracking by token and SMS shows its progress.
Papers to bring, and the online renewal option
Adults appear in person with an original valid NICOP and a copy of both sides, the previous passport with copies of pages 1 to 5, and a Dutch residence card or valid visa with a copy. Married women need a NICOP that shows the husband's name.
Children must get their own NICOP from NADRA first, then come with both parents, the parents' passports and ID cards, the original birth certificate and the parents' Dutch residence permits. An absent parent sends an authority letter and copies of their documents. Dual nationals also bring the foreign passport.
- Make sure your NICOP is valid and shows the right marital status.
- Gather your old passport, Dutch residence card and copies.
- Visit the embassy in person for photo and fingerprints.
- Pay at the consular counter with a local debit card on the PIN machine.
- Collect the passport, allowing up to 8 weeks for normal processing.

The embassy also points to the online e-Services portal for renewals, if your passport has expired or has less than 7 months of validity. That saves the trip for a simple renewal. If your NICOP itself has lapsed, start with the NICOP online application on PakID, because no passport can be issued without a valid NADRA card.
Renouncing citizenship costs €60, and the certificate €35
Dutch Pakistanis who must give up Pakistani nationality pay €60 at the embassy counter for cancelling the Pakistani passport. A separate embassy certificate of renunciation, which Dutch authorities may ask for, costs €35. The whole process takes 4 to 6 months.
The application goes to the Directorate General of Immigration and Passports in Islamabad, with Form X, all Pakistani passports and proof that you applied to cancel your NICOP on PakID. The full checklist is in the steps to renounce Pakistani citizenship with Form X. A child born in the Netherlands must be registered at the embassy within 6 months of birth, using Form S.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
We read the Embassy of Pakistan The Hague's consular services page, including its passport fee tables, renunciation checklist and birth registration rules, on 25 October 2026. The page gives two different delivery times and we could not tell which is current. The tables use the label "Machine Readable Passport". The European comparison and per year costs are our arithmetic from mission pages read the same day.
