Eight teams have reached the quarter-finals of the PCB's National U19 Cup 2026-27, which are on Thursday 22 October. They are Sialkot Whites, Rawalpindi, Bahawalpur, Islamabad, FATA, Lahore Whites, Karachi Blues and Hyderabad. The group stage ended on Monday 19 October with Islamabad's 79-run win over Lahore Blues.

We read the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) report for the fifth round and the official points table on its match centre on 20 October 2026. The top two teams in each of the four groups went through. Each team played four group matches.

Eight teams are through to the National U19 Cup quarter-finals

The quarter-finalists are the top two from each group. Sialkot Whites, FATA and Karachi Blues won all four of their group games. Rawalpindi, Bahawalpur, Islamabad, Lahore Whites and Hyderabad won three of four each.

The table gives two points for a win. Bahawalpur top Group B over Islamabad on net run rate, 0.886 to 0.671, after both finished on six points. Net run rate is a team's runs per over scored minus its runs per over conceded across the group.

Islamabad beat Lahore Blues to take the last place

Group B was the only group still open on the last day. Islamabad beat Lahore Blues by 79 runs at Ittefaq LRCA Ground, Lahore, on 19 October. Mohammad Abdullah Malik made 100 in Islamabad's 260 for five, and Lahore Blues were bowled out for 181.

Peshawar Whites won big on the same day, by 164 runs against Karachi Whites, but it was not enough. They finished on four points with Lahore Blues, two behind the top two. Mohammad Saqib Khan made 51 and then took 3 for 9 for Peshawar Whites.

Aalyan Salman made 158 not out and took 4 for 17

Lahore Whites' Aalyan Salman made 158 not out against Quetta on 17 October and then took 4 for 17. Lahore Whites made 313 for six and won by 152 runs at the HPC Jinnah Stadium in Sialkot. His 158 is the highest score of the tournament on the match centre.

Three more batters made hundreds in the fifth round. Mohammad Saim hit 155 as Faisalabad beat AJK by 102 runs, Mohammad Abbas Afridi made 115 as FATA beat Larkana by 234 runs, and Abdullah Malik made his 100 for Islamabad. Atal Khan took 5 for 32 for DMJ against Peshawar Blues.

Top run scorers in the National U19 Cup 2026-27: Abbas Afridi 274, Abdullah Malik 257, Saim 233, Aalyan Salman 215

The match centre's batting list after the group stage puts FATA's Mohammad Abbas Afridi on top with 274 runs. Abdullah Malik has 257, Mohammad Saim 233 and Aalyan Salman 215. All four of them made hundreds in the fifth round, so the last games reshaped the list.

FATA won all four games by the biggest margins

FATA's net run rate of +3.567 is the best in the tournament by a distance. Their last win, 330 for five against Larkana's 96, was by 234 runs. Karachi Blues, at +2.249, and Sialkot Whites, at +1.453, were the other unbeaten sides.

Unbeaten form does not decide a knockout game, but these three are the teams to beat. Each quarter-final is a single match, so one bad day ends a season.

  1. Sialkot Whites, 4 wins from 4, net run rate +1.453.
  2. FATA, 4 wins from 4, net run rate +3.567.
  3. Karachi Blues, 4 wins from 4, net run rate +2.249.
  4. Rawalpindi, Bahawalpur, Islamabad, Lahore Whites and Hyderabad, 3 wins from 4 each.

Quarter-finals are on 22 October, pairings not yet published

The PCB says the quarter-finals are on Thursday 22 October. When we checked, neither the PCB report nor the match centre's upcoming matches list showed which teams play each other or where. We have not guessed the pairings.

National U19 Cup 2026-27 quarter-finals are on Thursday 22 October

The PCB's domestic page lists the tournament as running from 19 September to 24 October. The match centre gives an end date of 25 October. So the final falls on 24 or 25 October, and we will know when the PCB publishes the knockout fixtures.

This one-day National U19 Cup is not the same as the three-day National U19 Championship, which has its own quarter-finals. The difference between the U19 Cup and the U19 Championship comes down to format and dates. The earlier group tables are in our National U19 Cup results from 10 October.
