Mohammad Farooq hit 130 off 101 balls as MIT Solutions reached 370 for six against PTV on the first day of the seventh and final round of the PCB's President's Trophy Grade-I on Monday 19 October 2026. SNGPL bowled KRL out for 151, and Kingsmen Academy made 328 for eight against State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).

We read the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) report for the day and its points table on 20 October 2026. All eight departmental teams are in action in this round, which runs four days, to 22 October. The final follows on 24 October.

Mohammad Farooq made 130 as MIT Solutions reached 370

At the Diamond Cricket Ground in Islamabad, opener Mohammad Farooq made 130 off 101 balls with 15 fours and seven sixes. Abuzar Tariq added 98 and Hasnain Nadeem 49. MIT Solutions finished day one on 370 for six in 77.2 overs against PTV.

That is fast scoring for a four-day game: almost 4.8 runs an over across the day, by our sum. Khalil Ahmed was PTV's best bowler with 3 for 91. Abuzar missed a hundred by two runs, which will sting on a day his partner got there so quickly.

Day one scores from all four round 7 matches

Two teams batted big, one side was bowled out cheaply, and one innings is still going. The table gives the close of play score in each match, as the PCB printed it in its scores in brief on 19 October.

SNGPL bowled KRL out for 151 in Rawalpindi

At the Shoaib Akhtar Cricket Stadium, SNGPL dismissed KRL for 151 in exactly 50 overs. Shehzad Gul took 3 for 22 and Shahnawaz Dahani took three as well. SNGPL were 63 for two at stumps, with Sameer Minhas 40 not out.

Shahzaib Khan made 43 and Sarmad Bhatti 31 for KRL. Muhammad Imran took 2 for 26. SNGPL trail by 88 with eight wickets in hand and three days left, so they are well placed for a first-innings lead.

The PCB's points table has not caught up with round 6

The PCB's points table, when we read it on 20 October, still showed five matches for each team. So it has not added round 6, which ended on 17 October. SBP led that table on 84 points, ahead of Ghani on 70 and Kingsmen Academy on 67.

Round 6 brought two draws, Ghani v Kingsmen Academy and OGDCL v SNGPL, and a six-wicket win for KRL over PTV, as our report on KRL's win over PTV covers. Draws clearly earn points too: KRL have 54 points from five draws and no win. The PCB does not explain the points system on the table page, so we have not tried to work out who reaches the final.

The final starts on 24 October, opponents to be decided

Round 7 ends on Thursday 22 October. The PCB fixture list shows the final starting on 24 October, with both teams and the ground still marked "TBC". The PCB lists the whole tournament as running until 28 October.

  1. Round 7 continues on 20, 21 and 22 October.
  2. The PCB then adds round 6 and round 7 to its table.
  3. The two finalists are confirmed from that table.
  4. The final starts on 24 October, at a ground still to be named.

One change to note: the PCB's report puts Ghani v OGDCL at the LCCA Ground, Lahore, and MIT Solutions v PTV at the Diamond Cricket Ground, Islamabad. The fixture list we read on 13 October had those two grounds the other way round. The earlier dates and venues are in our report on the moved round 6 matches, and the full season is in our President's Trophy fixtures and table.

We read the PCB report "Mohammad Farooq hits century as MIT Solutions dominate opening day of seventh round", dated 19 October 2026, the round 6 report of 17 October, and the PCB points table, all on 20 October 2026. The final date comes from the PCB fixture list as read for our 13 October report, and the 28 October end date from the PCB domestic series page. We could not confirm the points system, the result of Markhor IT Solutions v SBP in round 6, or the final's venue.
