Short answer: The PCB's tournament page now lists two President's Trophy Grade-I round 6 matches away from Peshawar and Abbottabad. Ghani play Kingsmen Academy in Sheikhupura and SNGPL play OGDC in Lahore, both on 14 October. Round 7 has moved from 18 to 19 October.

We opened the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) fixture list for the President's Trophy Grade-I on the morning of 13 October 2026. It no longer matches the list we read on 11 October. Three round 6 games and three round 7 games have new grounds, and all four round 7 games start a day later.

Two round 6 matches left Peshawar and Abbottabad

Ghani v Kingsmen Academy was due at Imran Khan Cricket Stadium in Peshawar on 12 October. It is now listed for 14 October at the Rana Naved ul Hasan Cricket Academy in Sheikhupura. SNGPL v OGDC has moved from Abbottabad to Lahore, also on 14 October.

The Lahore ground is the Lahore City Cricket Association Ground. The PCB's list shows both matches two days after the rest of the round. The other two round 6 matches began on Monday 12 October as planned.

A third match changed ground without changing date. Pakistan Television v Khan Research Laboratories (KRL) was listed for the National Ground in Islamabad. It was played at Shoaib Akhtar Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi.

The fixture list gives no reason for the move

The PCB's page shows the new grounds and dates but does not say why they changed. Reports link the change to the emergency measures declared in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. We could not find a PCB statement we could read, so we do not state a reason as fact.

That matters for anyone planning to attend or to follow a team. Check the match centre on the morning of play, as set out in the guide to checking domestic cricket scores and fixtures on the PCB website. Domestic grounds rarely publish their own notices.

Round 7 now starts on 19 October, one day later

All four round 7 matches are listed for Monday 19 October, not 18 October. Three of them have new grounds. The final stays on 24 October, with its teams and ground still shown as to be confirmed.

  1. Markhor IT Solutions v Pakistan Television: Lahore City Cricket Association Ground, Lahore (earlier listed for Peshawar).
  2. Khan Research Laboratories v Sui Northern Gas Pipelines: Shoaib Akhtar Cricket Stadium, Rawalpindi (earlier listed for the National Ground).
  3. Kingsmen Academy v State Bank of Pakistan: National Ground, Islamabad (earlier listed for Abbottabad).
  4. Oil and Gas Development Company v Ghani: Diamond Cricket Ground, Islamabad (no change).

The earlier schedule is in our President's Trophy Grade-I fixtures and points table, which was written before the change and still shows the old grounds.

Day one of round 6 went to the bat in Islamabad and the ball in Rawalpindi

On Monday, KRL bowled PTV out for 220 in Rawalpindi, with Ahmed Bashir taking four for 59. In Islamabad, MIT Solutions reached 354 for nine against State Bank of Pakistan. Both matches continue on Tuesday 13 October.

At Shoaib Akhtar Cricket Stadium, Sharoon Siraj made 64 and Taimur Khan 62 for PTV. KRL ended the day on 59 for two in 18 overs, 161 behind. At the Diamond Cricket Ground, Abuzar Tariq made 77 and Khalid Usman 41 for MIT Solutions. Mohammad Abbas took three for 51 for SBP.

These are the PCB's own day one figures. We have not seen day two scores, so we give no result.

State Bank lead the table after five rounds

State Bank of Pakistan lead with 84 points from five matches, with two wins and three draws. Ghani are second on 70 and Kingsmen Academy third on 67. The PCB table shows no bonus points for any team yet.

The table includes round 5, which we reported in the round 5 results. The final is reported to be played by the top two teams, so every point in the last two rounds counts.

No. The PCB still lists the final for 24 October, with the teams and the ground shown as to be confirmed.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

Last checked on 13 October 2026, Pakistan time. We read the PCB's President's Trophy Grade-I tournament page, both pages of its fixture list, its points table, and the PCB match report for the first day of round 6. We did not find a PCB statement explaining the move. Day two scores were not available when we checked, so none are given.
