Sahibzada Farhan Hits Career-Best 883 in ICC T20I Batting Rankings, No. 3 in the World
Sahibzada Farhan is No. 3 in the ICC T20I batting rankings with a career-best 883, up 65 points in a week. See the top five table and how to check it yourself.

Sahibzada Farhan is No. 3 in the ICC men's T20I batting rankings with 883 points, the highest rating of his career. Ishan Kishan of India leads on 904 and Abhishek Sharma is second on 891. The gap from Farhan to second place is 8 points.
We opened the ICC's own T20I batting table on 14 October 2026. It carries the rank date 13 October, the day the T20I series against Sri Lanka ended in Rawalpindi. Every rating below comes from that table.
Farhan is third with 883, a career best
Farhan sits third on 883 points. The ICC page lists his best rating as 883, set against Sri Lanka at Rawalpindi in 2026. So he is at his own peak right now. Only two batters in the world are above him.
| Rank | Batter | Team | Rating |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Ishan Kishan | India | 904 |
| 2 | Abhishek Sharma | India | 891 |
| 3 | Sahibzada Farhan | Pakistan | 883 |
| 4 | Shreyas Iyer | India | 798 |
| 5 | Harry Brook | England | 793 |

Look at the space below Farhan. Shreyas Iyer is fourth on 798. That is 85 points behind Farhan. The top three have pulled well clear of everyone else.
He gained 65 points in a week, from 818 to 883
Farhan was on 818 in the ICC table dated 6 October, as our earlier report on the Pakistan players in the rankings showed. He is on 883 now, a gain of 65 points. He was third in both tables, so the gain closed the distance to the two Indian batters.
The jump follows the Sri Lanka series. Farhan captained Pakistan in the three T20Is and was named player of the series after scoring 238 runs, as we reported in the story on Farhan's player of the series award. Pakistan won the series 2-1 after Sri Lanka took the third match by 8 wickets.
The ICC does not say on its ranking page which innings moved the rating by how much, so we do not split the 65 points by match. Ratings change with each innings a batter plays, and the ICC says its method weighs the match situation, not only the runs.
One more point matters for readers who follow the numbers closely. A rating of 883 is not a count of runs. It is a moving average of how well a batter has played, measured against the match situation, as the ICC describes it. That is why two innings of similar size can move the number by different amounts.
The gap to first place is 21 points
Kishan leads Farhan by 21 points, and Abhishek Sharma leads him by 8. Those are small gaps in a table where ratings run from 0 to 1000. The ICC says over 900 points is a supreme achievement, and only Kishan is above that line today.
Pakistan's next men's fixtures in the schedules we have read are the Sri Lanka Tests and the one day tri-series, not T20Is. So Farhan's T20I rating should hold until he bats in his next T20I. The ICC says a batter who does not bat keeps the same rating.

Pakistan are still sixth as a team
Pakistan are sixth in the ICC men's T20I team rankings on 14 October, with a rating of 240. The team table and the player table are separate. A batter can be third in the world while his team sits sixth. Our report on Pakistan's T20I team ranking shows how that table works.
Farhan is the only Pakistani in the top 20 of the T20I batting table we read. That says something about depth. Pakistan have one batter in the top three and none between fourth and twentieth place. The ranking page shows 20 places on its main view, so a player below that line needs the full list.
