Saim Ayub Is No. 2 in ICC T20I All-Rounder Rankings on 290, Mohammad Nawaz Up to 13th
Saim Ayub is second in the ICC T20I all-rounder rankings on 290, behind Sikandar Raza on 321. Mohammad Nawaz is 13th. See the table and how to check it.

Saim Ayub is second in the ICC men's T20I all-rounder rankings with 290 points, 31 behind Zimbabwe's Sikandar Raza on 321. Mohammad Nawaz is 13th on 184, up two places. Those are the only two Pakistanis in the top 20.
We opened the ICC's T20I all-rounder table on 14 October 2026. Its rank date is 13 October, the day the T20I series against Sri Lanka ended. Every figure below comes from that table.
Saim Ayub is second on 290, 31 points behind Sikandar Raza
Raza leads on 321. Saim is second on 290, and West Indies' Roston Chase is third on 267. So Saim is 31 points off the top and 23 points clear of third place. He has held second place since our earlier report.
| Rank | All-rounder | Team | Rating |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Sikandar Raza | Zimbabwe | 321 |
| 2 | Saim Ayub | Pakistan | 290 |
| 3 | Roston Chase | West Indies | 267 |
| 4 | Will Jacks | England | 257 |
| 5 | Dipendra Singh Airee | Nepal | 255 |

Saim was on 293 in the table dated 6 October, as our report on Pakistan players in the ICC rankings showed. He is on 290 now, a fall of 3 points. His best rating on the ICC page is 303, set against India at Colombo in 2026, so he sits 13 points below his own peak.
The drop from second to sixth is steep. Afghanistan's Azmatullah Omarzai is sixth on 241, which is 49 points below Saim. Namibia's Gerhard Erasmus is seventh on 213 and India's Hardik Pandya is eighth on 204. So Saim is not only second, he is far ahead of most of the field. Only Raza is clearly in front of him.
That makes the table a useful measure of how rare the skill is. Pakistan have one all-rounder who rates among the very best in T20Is, and the next Pakistani is 11 places further down.
Mohammad Nawaz is 13th on 184, up two places
Nawaz is 13th on 184. His best rating is 230, set against Australia at Lahore in 2026. So he is 46 points below that peak. The jump of two places is small, but it keeps a second Pakistani inside the top 20.
Sri Lanka's Dasun Shanaka is just behind Nawaz in 14th on 182, up eight places. The ICC lists 182 as his best rating, and it was set against Pakistan at Rawalpindi in 2026. So he reached that rating in Rawalpindi.
| Pakistan all-rounder | Rank | Rating | Best rating |
|---|---|---|---|
| Saim Ayub | 2 | 290 | 303 |
| Mohammad Nawaz | 13 | 184 | 230 |

For Pakistan the all-rounder table matters more than most. The side leans on players who both bat and bowl, and Saim and Nawaz are two of them. When either has a good match with bat and ball, the rating rises quickly because the all-rounder table looks at batting and bowling together.
How the ICC all-rounder number works
The all-rounder rating is not a score for runs and wickets together. The ICC's FAQ describes an index: take the player's batting points, multiply them by his bowling points and divide by 1000. The FAQ gives examples. A player on 600 batting and 200 bowling gets 120. A player on 400 and 400 gets 160.
That FAQ describes the index for Test and One Day cricket. It does not say on that page that the T20I table uses the same sum, so we do not claim it. The pattern is still worth knowing, because it shows why the number is low. An all-rounder needs strong batting and strong bowling at the same time. A score of 321 is very high.
One thing follows from the sum. A player who cannot bowl scores zero. The ICC makes that point itself: a batter on 800 with no bowling points has an index of zero.
