The Sao Paulo Grand Prix 2026 starts at 10:00 pm PKT on Sunday 8 November, which is 2 pm in Brazil. Qualifying is at 11:00 pm PKT on Saturday 7 November. Below you will find all five sessions of the Interlagos weekend in Pakistan time, a clash with MotoGP that night, what F1 lists for viewers in Pakistan, and where the title fight stands before Brazil.

Brazil is round 20 of the 2026 Formula 1 season and comes one week after Mexico. We read the session times on Formula 1's own Sao Paulo race page on 31 October 2026. F1 lists each session in UTC, and we added five hours for PKT. Pakistan does not change its clocks, and neither does Brazil any more, so the gap is a steady eight hours.

The Sao Paulo race is a 10 pm start in Pakistan, the friendliest slot of the season's end

All five sessions fall between 7:30 pm and midnight PKT. Practice 1 is on Friday evening, qualifying is at 11 pm on Saturday, and the race starts at 10:00 pm on Sunday 8 November, so you can watch the whole weekend and still sleep before work.

Practice 2 is the one that trips people up. F1 lists it at 19:00 UTC on Friday, which is midnight in Pakistan, so it belongs to Friday night even though the clock says Saturday.

There is no sprint in Brazil this year. The official page lists three practice sessions, qualifying and the Grand Prix, and nothing else. F1 books the race slot from 10:00 pm to midnight PKT.

Interlagos is a short lap of 71 laps and 305.879 km

The race runs at the Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace, known to everyone as Interlagos. F1's page gives a lap of 4.309 km, 71 laps and a race distance of 305.879 km. It is one of the shortest laps on the calendar, which is why the race has so many laps.

  • First Grand Prix: 1973, according to F1's circuit facts.
  • Fastest race lap on record: 1:10.540, set by Valtteri Bottas in 2018.
  • Circuit length: 4.309 km.
  • Race distance: 305.879 km over 71 laps.

Interlagos also has a habit of weather changes in the afternoon. Rain has turned this race upside down many times, so a dull qualifying result does not always mean a dull Sunday.

Antonelli leads by 123 points, and the title may already be settled before Brazil

Kimi Antonelli of Mercedes had 365 points after 18 races when we read F1's standings on 31 October. George Russell was second on 242 and Lewis Hamilton third on 241. Mexico on 1 November comes first, and it can end the title race before Brazil starts.

PositionDriverTeamPoints
1Kimi AntonelliMercedes365
2George RussellMercedes242
3Lewis HamiltonFerrari241
4Max VerstappenRed Bull Racing236
5Charles LeclercFerrari233

Here is the simple maths, which we did ourselves. A win is worth 25 points and there are no sprints left. After Mexico, four races remain, so 100 points are still on offer. If Antonelli leaves Mexico more than 100 points clear, he is champion.

If Mexico does not settle it, Brazil becomes the next chance. After Brazil only three races remain, worth 75 points, so any lead above 75 at the end of the Sao Paulo race makes him champion. With a gap of 123 before Mexico, Russell or Hamilton would need two very big weekends in a row to keep the fight alive. The Mexico race result arrives at about 3 am PKT on Monday 2 November, and the Mexico Grand Prix times in Pakistan are listed separately.

MotoGP's Qatar race clashes with F1 Brazil on Sunday night

Motorsport fans in Pakistan face a choice on Sunday 8 November. MotoGP's Qatar Grand Prix starts at 9:00 pm PKT, one hour before the F1 race in Sao Paulo. The two races will overlap for most of the F1 race.

The MotoGP race at Lusail runs 22 laps and usually lasts about 40 minutes, so a fan can watch most of it and still catch the F1 start at 10 pm. Saturday is easier: the MotoGP Qatar sprint is at 9:00 pm PKT and F1 qualifying is at 11:00 pm. Every MotoGP session for the last three rounds is in our MotoGP 2026 schedule in Pakistan time.

F1 lists no TV partner for Pakistan, so F1 TV is the only official route

F1's broadcast information page lists partners country by country, and Pakistan is not on it. India has FanCode and TATA Play FanCode Sports, and the Middle East and North Africa have beIN Sports. F1 also says live coverage is available in many places through F1 TV, its own streaming service.

We could not see an F1 TV price for Pakistan, and an earlier check found the subscription page sending Pakistani visitors to another region's store. So treat these steps as a test, not a promise:

  1. Open formula1.com and choose F1 TV from the menu.
  2. Check whether the store shows a price in a currency you can pay.
  3. Use a debit or credit card that allows foreign online payments. Many Pakistani bank cards block them until you switch the option on in the bank app.
  4. Test the stream during Practice 1 on Friday at 8:30 pm PKT, not ten minutes before the race.
  5. If it does not work, cancel before the renewal date so you are not charged again.

Do not pay for "F1 live" apps or IPTV links shared in WhatsApp groups. They are not licensed, they often stop mid-race, and some ask for card details on pages that are not secure.

Steps to test F1 TV in Pakistan before the Sao Paulo Grand Prix

Three races follow Brazil, and all are in November or early December

After Sao Paulo the season moves to Las Vegas on 21 and 22 November, Qatar on 29 November and Abu Dhabi on 6 December. Las Vegas is the hard one for Pakistan, with the race at 9:00 am PKT on Sunday 22 November.

Times for every session of those three races are in the F1 schedule in Pakistan time. Abu Dhabi is the easy one: the season finale starts at 6:00 pm PKT on Sunday 6 December.

We read the session times, circuit length, lap count, race distance and lap record on F1's Sao Paulo Grand Prix page, the driver points on F1's 2026 drivers' standings page, and the partner list on F1's broadcast information page, all on 31 October.
