SCOM's cheapest internet package is Daily YouTube at Rs 17 on *198#, and the biggest monthly one is Monthly Data Max: 35 GB plus 15 GB of night data for Rs 1,049 on *3052#. Below are all 15 prepaid SCOM data offers with their codes, what the night data means, and what to do when a code does not work.

SCOM is the mobile service of the Special Communications Organization (SCO), and it serves Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. We read the prepaid package list on SCO's own packages page on 25 October 2026. Every price and code here comes from that list.

SCOM has 15 prepaid internet packages, from Rs 17 a day to Rs 1,049 a month

SCO lists daily, three day, weekly, 15 day and monthly data offers for prepaid SCOM SIMs. Most give a day allowance plus a separate night allowance. Each one has its own dial code, except Weekly Super Plus, which shows no code on SCO's page.

Monthly Social Plus also carries 150 SCOM family minutes and 40 minutes to other networks. SCO's page does not say whether these prices include tax, so expect the final deduction to be a little higher in some cases.

SCOM monthly internet packages compared by price and data in AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan

Night data only works from 12 am to 7 am

The second figure in most SCOM packages is night data. SCO's terms say night data is used from 12 am to 7 am. Outside those hours your phone uses the day allowance, so a "20 GB" weekly offer is really 10 GB for normal use.

That matters when you compare. Weekly Super Plus looks like 20 GB for Rs 299. If you sleep through the night, you get 10 GB. The 3 Night Offer is the clearest case: all 5 GB is night only, which suits downloads you can leave running.

On a monthly plan the gap is smaller. Monthly Data Max gives 35 GB of day data, which works out to about Rs 30 per GB. Counted with the night data, it is about Rs 21 per GB. That is our arithmetic from SCO's prices, not a figure SCO publishes.

How to subscribe to a SCOM internet package

Dial the package code from your SCOM prepaid SIM and confirm on the reply screen. SCO's terms say the data is posted at the moment you subscribe and ends at 11:59:59 pm on the last day of validity. Packages do not renew on their own.

  1. Recharge enough balance for the package price.
  2. Dial the code from the table, for example *3052# for Monthly Data Max.
  3. Read the reply and confirm the price.
  4. Wait for the confirmation SMS before you start browsing.
  5. Dial *125# to check the data left. SCO lists this code in its postpaid terms; ask the helpline if it does not answer on prepaid.

Because offers do not auto renew, you need to subscribe again after expiry. The upside is that there is no surprise deduction at midnight, which is a common complaint on other networks.

Steps to subscribe to a SCOM internet package with a dial code

Without a package, SCOM charges Rs 6.86 per MB

If you browse with no data offer, SCO's terms set the base rate at Rs 6.86 per MB, charged in 512 KB steps. The same rate applies once a package runs out, unless you have another data offer active.

Rs 6.86 per MB is about Rs 7,000 per GB. A few minutes of video can cost more than a full Daily YouTube package. So subscribe before you open any app that loads video, and check what is left with *125# before a long call on WhatsApp.

SCO's terms also say data works on both 3G and 4G. Actual speed depends on location, time and your phone.

SCOM data works on Ufone 3G outside AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan

SCO says its offers are for use in AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan. When you travel to the rest of Pakistan, SCOM data customers can use Ufone 3G without roaming charges, where Ufone has coverage. Calls and SMS on Ufone and Zong carry roaming charges.

This matters for students and workers who move between Gilgit, Muzaffarabad and Islamabad. Your package data should keep working on Ufone's 3G network, but expect lower speeds than on 4G. If coverage at home is the bigger question, PTA's own tests show the best mobile network in AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan.

When a SCOM package code does not work

Most failed subscriptions come down to low balance, a postpaid SIM using a prepaid code, or a withdrawn offer. Check your balance first, then call SCO's helpline on 111-726-726, the number its terms give for questions about packages.

  • Not enough balance: the package price must be in your account before you dial.
  • Postpaid SIM: these codes are for prepaid SCOM. Postpaid users have separate data add-ons.
  • Two packages at once: SCO says each subscription has its own charging priority. Ask the helpline which one is used first.
  • Weekly Super Plus: SCO shows no code for it. Ask the helpline or SCO's WhatsApp chat on 0355-4275726, linked from SCO's home page.

If a wrong deduction is not fixed by SCO, the PTA telecom complaint route is the next step. And if you rarely use data in the day, look at how night internet packages on other networks compare.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

Last checked 25 October 2026. We read SCO's prepaid packages page at sco.gov.pk and the package data it loads, including each offer's terms, on 25 October 2026. Prices, data, validity, codes, night hours, the Rs 6.86 base rate, the Ufone 3G rule and the helpline come from there. The WhatsApp number comes from SCO's home page. Per GB figures are our arithmetic. SCO's page does not say whether prices include tax, does not give a code for Weekly Super Plus, and does not say which apps the Social and YouTube packages cover, so we could not confirm those. We did not subscribe to a package.
