The University of Sindh, Jamshoro, holds the second phase of its pre-entry test for Bachelor admissions 2027 on 11 October 2026, and you need at least 40 per cent to be considered. The first phase ran on 4 October, and its result went up on the Sindh University Testing Centre (SUTC) website at 6:00 pm the same day. Expect the same for phase two. A total of 22,511 candidates applied for the two phases.

We read the university's admissions 2027 advertisement and its official news releases on 9 October 2026. The test is split by district. Candidates from distant districts sat phase one. Candidates from districts near Jamshoro sit phase two. Below is what the university has published about the date, the pass mark, the result and the next step after it.

The admissions advertisement lists two pre-entry test dates for Bachelor degree programmes: 4 October 2026 and 11 October 2026. The LL.M test follows on 1 November 2026. The university says it can postpone or revise the schedule at any stage, so check your portal account before you travel.

Who sat phase I and who sits phase II

The Vice Chancellor said phase one was for candidates from distant districts and phase two for candidates from nearby districts. Phase one covered Karachi, Sanghar, Shaheed Benazirabad, Dadu, Larkana, Kambar Shahdadkot, Ghotki, Jacobabad, Kashmore, Khairpur, Matiari, Naushahro Feroze, Shikarpur and Sukkur.

Candidates applying to other campuses could sit the test at their own campus, the university added. If your district is not in the phase one list, phase two on 11 October is almost certainly yours. Your admit card on the portal is the final word on date and venue.

You need 40% in the pre-entry test, or 50% in LAT for LLB

The advertisement says the pre-entry test is mandatory for every Bachelor degree programme and the minimum score is 40 per cent. LLB (Honours) works differently: you need at least 50 per cent in the HEC Law Admission Test instead. If you are aiming for law, the HEC LAT registration steps matter more than this test.

Some programmes add their own test. The institute concerned announces a separate aptitude or physical fitness test for BS Health and Physical Education, Bachelor of Fine Arts, Bachelor of Communication Design, Bachelor of Textile Design and Bachelor of Art History.

Students still waiting for their HSC Part II result were allowed to register and sit the test. Once your board result is out, check it is correct before the merit stage. The Sindh board result sites each work a little differently.

How to check your Sindh University pre-entry test result

For phase one, SUTC announced the result at 6:00 pm on the same day and uploaded it to its website. The university says its testing centre posts results within a few hours.

  1. Open the Sindh University Testing Centre site at sutc.usindh.edu.pk on the evening of 11 October.
  2. Find the Bachelor pre-entry test 2027 result for phase II.
  3. Search by your seat number from the admit card. SUTC says results are posted block-wise by seat number.
  4. Note your score. Below 40 per cent means you are not eligible for Bachelor admission this year.
  5. Log in to admission.usindh.edu.pk and keep checking your dashboard and email for the merit lists.

What happens after the merit list

Selected candidates must pay the admission fee by the deadline given with the merit list. They then submit a printed copy of the online form, original educational transcripts and attested copies of all documents to the Directorate of Admissions in Jamshoro.

Evening programmes carry a risk. The university needs at least 40 students in any evening programme, at the main campus or a sub-campus. If a programme falls short, it will not run. You then get a choice of another programme you are eligible for, or a refund of the admission fee you paid.

Bachelor programmes are also offered at the Laar Campus in Badin, Dadu, Thatta and Naushahro Feroze, and at the Elsa Kazi Campus in Hyderabad. The sub-campuses mostly offer BBA, Computer Science or IT, and English.
