To get your 11th class paper rechecked in Punjab, apply online on your own board's rechecking portal within 15 days of the result, which came out on 22 October 2026, so the window runs to about 6 November. BISE Lahore charges Rs 1,200 a subject plus Rs 100 processing. Other boards charge different amounts, and two of them want the paid bank challan in their office before the deadline, not just the online form.

Many students open their Part I result card, see one low mark, and assume a re-marking will fix it. It usually will not. Rechecking checks the totals and looks for unmarked answers. We read the Multan board's rechecking press release of 22 October 2026 and the live BISE Lahore rechecking form on 24 October 2026 before writing this.

The rechecking window closes 15 days after the 22 October result

Punjab boards accept rechecking requests for 15 days after the result is published. The 11th class result came out on 22 October 2026, so by our count the last day is 6 November 2026. Late requests are not taken.

BISE Multan says this plainly in press release No. 693 dated 22 October 2026: candidates who want any subject rechecked can apply through the online system within 15 days of the result, as the board's rules require. The note at the bottom adds a second condition. The original copy of the paid bank challan must reach the office of the Assistant Controller (Secrecy) by hand or by post within the same period. Otherwise, the board says, no action will be taken on the request.

The press release does not print a calendar date. Our 6 November figure counts 15 days from 22 October. Multan's own readmission notice for the same class uses 6 November 2026 as its last normal date, which fits the same count. If your board prints a different date, follow the board.

BISE Lahore charges Rs 1,200 a subject plus Rs 100

The BISE Lahore rechecking form for the Intermediate (11th) First Annual Examination 2026 adds Rs 1,200 for each subject you tick and a single Rs 100 processing charge. Three subjects therefore cost Rs 3,700 in total.

We read these figures in the page code of rechecking.biselahore.com on 24 October 2026. The form asks for the roll number, then shows your name, father's name and group. You then enter an email address and a mobile number, tick the subjects, and the total updates on screen. The board says it will send your rechecking date and time by SMS or email, so give a number and an inbox you check.

The Gujranwala and Multan figures come from our earlier checks of their 2026 fee notices, set out in the revised Gujranwala and DG Khan board fees and the BISE Multan fee list. Fees changed in 2026, so older figures on the internet are often wrong.

How to apply for 11th class rechecking online

Open your own board's rechecking portal, enter your roll number, tick only the subjects you doubt, pay the challan at the bank, and keep the original receipt. Some boards also want the receipt delivered to them before the deadline.

  1. Note your roll number and the marks in each subject from your result card.
  2. Open your board's rechecking link. For Lahore this is rechecking.biselahore.com.
  3. Enter the roll number and check that your name and group appear correctly.
  4. Give a working email address and mobile number for the hearing date.
  5. Tick the subjects you want rechecked and note the total fee shown.
  6. Print the challan and pay it at the listed bank branch.
  7. If your board asks for it, as Multan does, send the original challan copy to the board by hand or post within 15 days.

Choose subjects with care. A paper where you expected 60 and got 31 is worth checking. A paper two marks below what you hoped for rarely changes, because the checker is not marking your answers again.

Steps to apply for 11th class rechecking 2026 on a Punjab board portal

Rechecking finds counting errors, not a fresh marking

Punjab board rules limit rechecking to totals, missed answers and replaced answer books. The examiner does not mark your answers again, so a harsh but properly added paper keeps its marks after rechecking.

When we read the BISE Multan rules for the 12th class rechecking in September, they listed what the board checks: that totals were carried correctly, that no part of an answer was left unmarked, and that the answer book was not swapped. The same rules say re-evaluation of answer books shall not be done. If a mistake is found, the corrected marks go back to the result section and a new result card follows.

Because of this, the fee is usually refunded only when a mistake is found that affects the result. Treat the fee as spent.

What to do if rechecking does not help

If rechecking leaves your marks unchanged, you still have two routes: appear again in the failed paper with your 12th class exam, or cancel the Part I result and take readmission in 11th class before the board's deadline.

Readmission is a bigger step. BISE Multan's notice of 22 October 2026 gives a Rs 2,200 readmission fee for 11th class until 6 November 2026, and says a student who passed must first get the Part I result cancelled. BISE Sargodha has a separate window from 2 to 16 November 2026. Weigh this only after you know the rechecking outcome, and talk to your college first.

The result itself, and how each board announced it, is covered in the 22 October 11th class result notice.

Common questions

What is the last date for 11th class rechecking in Punjab 2026?

The boards allow 15 days from the 22 October 2026 result. By our count that ends on 6 November 2026. Apply earlier if you can, since bank challans need time.

How much is the 11th class rechecking fee at BISE Lahore?

Rs 1,200 for each subject plus Rs 100 processing. One subject costs Rs 1,300, two cost Rs 2,500 and three cost Rs 3,700.

Will the examiner mark my paper again?

No. Rechecking looks for addition mistakes, unmarked answers and swapped answer books. It is not a fresh marking.

How will I know my rechecking date?

BISE Lahore says it will send the date and time by SMS or email to the details you enter on the form. On 24 October its homepage had date and time lookups for the 12th class and matric rechecking, but not yet for 11th class.

Do I need to send the challan to the board?

BISE Multan says yes: the original paid challan copy must reach its Secrecy office within the deadline, by hand or by post. Check your own board's instructions on the form.

Can private candidates apply for rechecking?

Yes. The form works by roll number, and the press releases do not exclude private candidates.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

Last checked 24 October 2026. We read BISE Multan press release No. 693 dated 22 October 2026 on rechecking for the Intermediate Part I first annual examination 2026, its press release No. 141 dated 21 October 2026 announcing the 22 October result, and its readmission notification No. 383 dated 22 October 2026, all on the BISE Multan website. We read the live BISE Lahore 11th class rechecking form on 24 October 2026, including the fee values in its page code. Gujranwala and Multan fee amounts come from our earlier reads of those boards' 2026 fee notices. We could not verify the 2026 rechecking fees or deadlines for Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Bahawalpur, DG Khan or Sahiwal, and we did not submit a rechecking request ourselves.
