Bank Alfalah schedule of charges July to December 2026: IBFT free to Rs 25,000, counter IBFT Rs 200, Rs 35 at other ATMs, Visa Classic Rs 3,800. Every fee.

Bank Alfalah's schedule of charges for July to December 2026 keeps IBFT free up to Rs 25,000 a month, then charges 0.1% or Rs 200, whichever is lower. Cash at another bank's ATM costs Rs 35, Visa debit cards cost Rs 3,800 to Rs 23,000 a year, and branch SMS alerts cost Rs 250 or Rs 300 a month. The Alfa app, internet banking and account closing are free.
We read Bank Alfalah's conventional banking schedule, effective 1 July to 31 December 2026, on 1 November 2026. Its cover says the figures exclude FED and sales tax, so tax is added on top unless a line says otherwise. Below are the fees an ordinary account holder meets: transfers, debit cards, ATMs, SMS, cheques and minimum balance charges.
Bank Alfalah IBFT is free up to Rs 25,000 a month
Bank Alfalah charges nothing for interbank transfers until your total passes Rs 25,000 in a month per account. After that each transfer costs 0.1% of the amount or Rs 200, whichever is lower. Sending an IBFT through a branch counter costs a flat Rs 200, tax included.
| Transfer or channel | Bank Alfalah charge, July to December 2026 |
|---|---|
| IBFT, first Rs 25,000 a month | Free |
| IBFT above Rs 25,000 a month | 0.1% or Rs 200, whichever is lower |
| IBFT through a branch counter | Rs 200 per transaction |
| Alfa app, internet and mobile banking | Free |
| Paying by another bank's card | Up to 3% plus FED |
| Standing instruction, rupee account | Rs 250 per transaction |
The counter fee is the one to avoid. A Rs 10,000 transfer at the counter costs Rs 200, the same as the cap on a Rs 1 million transfer in the app. The daily limit on those app transfers depends on the package you pick in the Alfa app's daily limit settings.

Bank Alfalah debit cards cost Rs 3,000 to Rs 23,000 a year
A Bank Alfalah Visa Classic debit card costs Rs 3,800 a year, Gold Rs 5,500, Platinum Rs 11,000 and Signature Rs 23,000. PayPak, Pink PayPak and UnionPay PayPak Classic cards cost Rs 3,000. Supplementary cards cost roughly half the basic card.
| Bank Alfalah debit card | Basic card, a year | Supplementary | Replacement |
|---|---|---|---|
| PayPak or Pink PayPak | Rs 3,000 | Rs 1,600 or Rs 2,000 | Rs 2,200 |
| UnionPay PayPak Classic | Rs 3,000 | Rs 1,600 | Rs 1,800 |
| UnionPay PayPak Gold | Rs 3,800 | Rs 2,000 | Rs 2,200 |
| Visa Classic | Rs 3,800 | Rs 2,100 | Rs 2,000 |
| Visa Gold or Pehchaan | Rs 5,500 | Rs 3,100 | Rs 3,000 |
| UnionPay PayPak Platinum | Rs 8,000 | Rs 4,200 | Rs 3,800 |
| Visa Platinum | Rs 11,000 | Rs 5,500 | Rs 3,700 |
| Visa Signature | Rs 23,000 | Rs 11,500 | Rs 4,000 |
Some accounts can avoid the fee. For Kamyab Karobar and Kashtkaar accounts, the schedule says the issuance fee is charged only if a Rs 50,000 average is not kept, and the annual fee is waived when the six month average is Rs 50,000 or more. Premier customers get PayPak, Pehchaan and foreign currency cards free, and Infinite customers get all cards free.

Bank Alfalah charges Rs 35 for cash at another bank's ATM
Cash from a Bank Alfalah ATM is free. A withdrawal from another bank's ATM costs Rs 35, and a balance check there costs Rs 4.67. A printed receipt costs Rs 5 at an Alfalah ATM and Rs 4.67 elsewhere.
- Cash from an ATM abroad: Rs 400 or 4% of the amount, whichever is higher.
- Cash from another bank's POS machine: Rs 300 or 3%, whichever is higher.
- Card payments in foreign currency: 4.5% of the amount, or Rs 125, whichever is higher.
- An online or foreign POS payment declined: Rs 90 each time.
- Airport CIP lounge visit on a debit card: nil.
The 4.5% foreign fee is higher than the 4% several other banks charge. On a USD 100 online subscription that is about 4.5 dollars on every payment, before any withholding tax on foreign spending.
Bank Alfalah SMS alerts cost Rs 250 or Rs 300 a month
Bank Alfalah charges Rs 250 a month plus FED for SMS alerts on branch, counter and digital transactions, with Alfa activity sent as in-app notifications. Adding SMS for Alfa transactions too costs Rs 300 a month. SMS pull banking costs Rs 60 a month.
Debit card SMS alerts are listed as free in the card section, so the Rs 250 or Rs 300 is the branch banking alert service. If you mostly use the Alfa app, the in-app notifications may be enough and the Rs 250 tier is the one to ask about.
Cheques, closing and minimum balance at Bank Alfalah
Stopping a cheque at Bank Alfalah costs Rs 750, capped at Rs 1,650 for several cheques from one book. A cheque returned in inward clearing costs Rs 1,000. Opening, closing and dormant accounts cost nothing.
| Branch service | Bank Alfalah charge |
|---|---|
| Stop payment, one cheque | Rs 750 |
| Stop payment, several cheques from one book | Rs 1,650 per request |
| Stop payment, lost cheque book | Rs 1,650 |
| Cheque returned, inward clearing | Rs 1,000 |
| Cash cheque returned | Rs 450 |
| Failed standing instruction, no funds | Rs 500 |
| Account opening, closing, dormant account | Nil |
A Current Plus account below a Rs 25,000 monthly average pays Rs 43 a month. Kamyab Karobar, RoyalProfit and Kifayat accounts pay Rs 43 below Rs 50,000. Saving, Asaan, Pehchaan rupee, pensioner, Care and kids accounts have no such charge.
- Send transfers in the Alfa app, not at the counter, to avoid the flat Rs 200.
- Withdraw from Bank Alfalah ATMs to skip Rs 35 a time.
- Keep a Current Plus account above Rs 25,000 on average to avoid Rs 43 a month.
- Pick in-app notifications if you do not need SMS for every branch transaction.
- Use a card with a lower foreign fee for regular overseas subscriptions.

Closing is free, but leave the account at zero and return the cards, as set out in closing a bank account properly. For what Bank Alfalah pays on deposits, see Bank Alfalah profit rates.
Roshan Digital Accounts at Bank Alfalah pay no maintenance fee
Bank Alfalah's Roshan Digital Account section lists account opening, maintenance and balance enquiry as free in both rupee and foreign currency versions. The first cheque book of 25 leaves is free and later books cost Rs 22.5 a leaf. A Visa Gold debit card on the rupee account costs Rs 5,500.
The schedule adds that Gold card issue on a Roshan Digital Account is not free: both issue and annual fee of Rs 5,500 apply. A replacement card on that account costs Rs 3,000.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
We read Bank Alfalah's schedule of charges for July to December 2026, conventional on 1 November 2026, linked from its schedule of charges page. Figures exclude FED and sales tax unless stated. The comparison examples are our arithmetic. We could not verify the general cheque book price for ordinary accounts, which the conventional schedule refers to another section for, or the certificate fees, whose labels are garbled in the document.
