Bank Alfalah Alfa App Limit and Registration: All 15 Daily Packages, Rs 250,000 to Rs 10 Million (2026 List)
See every Bank Alfalah Alfa app limit package, Rs 250,000 to Rs 10 million a day, who qualifies, the Safe Location limits and how to register with your CNIC.

The Bank Alfalah Alfa app limit depends on your package: from Rs 250,000 a day on Package 2 up to Rs 10 million a day on Packages 9 and 10, with Safe Location packages from Rs 1.5 million to Rs 10 million. You register on Alfa with your CNIC or passport number, and you can change your package inside the app under Limit Management. Below is every one of the 15 packages, who can use each, how registration works, and what to try when the app refuses a payment.
We read Bank Alfalah's Alfa app page on 25 October 2026. The limits table below is copied from it.
Alfa has 10 regular limit packages and 5 Safe Location packages
Bank Alfalah sets Alfa's daily transaction limit by package. Package 1 allows nothing, Package 2 allows Rs 250,000, and the top packages allow Rs 10 million a day. Some packages are only for Premier, Infinite or current account customers.
| Package | Daily transaction limit | Utility bills a day | Who can choose it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Package 1 | Rs 0 | 0 | All |
| Package 2 | Rs 250,000 | 5 | All |
| Package 3 | Rs 500,000 | 10 | All |
| Package 4 | Rs 1,000,000 | 15 | All |
| Package 5 | Rs 2,000,000 | 20 | Premier customers only |
| Package 6 | Rs 3,000,000 | 20 | Current account holders only |
| Package 7 | Rs 5,000,000 | 20 | Current account holders only |
| Package 8 | Rs 7,500,000 | 25 | Premier customers only |
| Package 9 | Rs 10,000,000 | 25 | Infinite customers only |
| Package 10 | Rs 10,000,000 | 25 | All customers |
One oddity is worth flagging. Package 9 is marked for Infinite customers only, yet Package 10, marked for all customers, carries the same Rs 10 million limit. That is how the bank's table reads on 25 October 2026. If the app will not let you pick Package 10, ask the Contact Centre which packages your account qualifies for.

Safe Location raises the limit when you bank from a trusted place
Safe Location lets eligible customers set a trusted location in Alfa and get higher limits there, over a 24 hour window. Bank Alfalah lists Packages 11 to 15, from Rs 1.5 million to Rs 10 million a day, for eligible customers only.
| Safe Location package | Daily limit (24 hour window) |
|---|---|
| Package 11 | Rs 1,500,000 |
| Package 12 | Rs 2,000,000 |
| Package 13 | Rs 2,500,000 |
| Package 14 | Rs 7,500,000 |
| Package 15 | Rs 10,000,000 |
Bank Alfalah does not explain on the page who counts as eligible. In practice, use Safe Location from home or office and keep a lower regular package for when you are out. A thief who gets your phone in a market then faces the lower limit.
The limit is shared across Alfa, Internet Banking, WhatsApp and Alfa Mall
Your daily limit is one pot, not four. Bank Alfalah says it is shared across the Alfa app, Internet Banking, WhatsApp banking and Alfa Mall. A Rs 200,000 transfer on the web leaves only the rest of the day's package for the app.
This catches people paying large bills, such as school fees and a credit card on the same day. Raise the package before a big payment, then lower it again. The State Bank also lets you cut app limits and remove old devices, which is set out in checking your bank app's devices and limit.

Registration needs your CNIC or passport number, and accounts can be opened in the app
Bank Alfalah says you download Alfa, then either open a new account or register an existing one using your identity document number, a CNIC or passport. Joint account holders can register too, with the same limits as the primary holder.
- Download Alfa from Google Play or the App Store.
- Choose to register an existing account, or open a new one in the app.
- Enter your CNIC or passport number as the bank asks.
- Complete the checks the app shows on screen.
- Set your daily package under Limit Management once you are in.
The bank's page does not print every screen of the sign-up, so steps 4 and 5 are a general outline. A new phone also brings a short wait before full use under State Bank rules, explained in why a banking app blocks payments on a new phone.

Alfa also handles cards, dormant accounts and family access
Beyond transfers, Alfa can activate, block and unblock debit and credit cards, reactivate a dormant account without a branch visit, update your KYC details, issue a virtual debit card, and give up to five family members limited access through Alfa Supplementary.
Alfa Supplementary lets you add parents, a spouse, children or siblings, even without their own Bank Alfalah account. You set each person's daily limit, pick which accounts they can use, and pause or remove them at any time. Your balance stays hidden from them. Bank Alfalah mentions an annual subscription for this, managed in the app, but does not print the fee.
Alfa also sends free Raast transfers by mobile number. To set one up, see creating a Raast ID.
When Alfa refuses a payment
Three limits can block a payment: the daily package, the shared limit already used on another channel, or the utility bill count for the day. Check Limit Management first. If the limit is fine and the payment still fails, call Bank Alfalah on 021 111 225 111 or 042 111 225 111.
Never share your password, OTP or Alfa PIN with a caller, even one who says they are from the bank. Use only the official app from Google Play or the App Store.
