BISE DG Khan will mark the Computer Science Part I and Part II papers of the Inter 2nd Annual Exam 2026 on screen. On 7 November 2026 the board told students to solve MCQs only on page 3, write nothing on pages 2 and 4, and do rough work only on the last page, page 34. No extra sheet will be given.
On-screen marking (OSM) means your answer copy is scanned after the exam and the examiner marks the scanned pages on a computer. You still write with a pen. The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Dera Ghazi Khan posted four notices about it on its website on 7 November: an Urdu poster with 8 rules for students, 16 English and Urdu rules for the digital answer copy, a 34-page specimen answer copy, and instructions for centre superintendents. We read all four the same day.

BISE DG Khan set 8 page rules for the Computer Science answer copy
The board's Urdu poster for students gives 8 rules for the Computer Science paper. The most important are page rules: MCQs only on page 3, nothing on pages 2 and 4, and rough work only on page 34. Marks go for correct content only, not for decoration.
| No. | Rule from the BISE DG Khan poster | What it means for you |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Write each answer inside its own space | An answer written outside will not be checked |
| 2 | No extra sheet will be given | Fit every answer into the 34 pages |
| 3 | Do not copy out the question, draw needless lines or leave blank space | Start answering straight away |
| 4 | Write nothing on the QR code or barcode | A damaged code can affect your marking |
| 5 | Marks only for correct content, not decoration | Skip borders, colours and fancy headings |
| 6 | Rough work only on the last page, page 34 | Do not work out sums in the margins |
| 7 | Write nothing on pages 2 and 4 | Leave those pages as they are |
| 8 | Solve MCQs only on page 3, not on the last page | Fill bubbles on page 3 only |
The specimen answer copy the board posted has 34 numbered pages. Look at it before the exam so the layout is not new to you on the day.
Fill one MCQ bubble with a blue or black pen and never use whitener
The 16 rules for the digital answer copy say each MCQ needs exactly one bubble, filled fully and darkly with a blue or black pen. You cannot change an answer once a bubble is filled. Cutting, overwriting, whitener or two bubbles all count as multiple answers and get zero.
- Use only a blue or black ink pen. Red or green ink, highlighters, markers and smudging gel pens are not allowed.
- Do not tick, cross, circle, dot or half-fill a bubble.
- To cancel a wrong written answer, draw a single straight line through it. Do not use whitener or erasable ink.
- Do not press hard. Ink that shows through makes the other side hard to read after scanning.
- Write neatly. The examiner reads your answer on a screen, and writing that cannot be read may lose marks.
These 16 rules are the same text BISE Rawalpindi published for its students. Our page on the BISE Rawalpindi digital answer copy rules explains each one in more detail.

Check your answer copy before you write a single word
The rules ask you to check the copy first. Every page should be there, in order, printed correctly and untorn, with a clear barcode and QR code. If anything is wrong, tell the invigilator at once and ask for a new copy. Once you start writing, it is too late.
- Count the pages and check the page numbers run from 1 to 34.
- Check that the barcode and QR code on every page are clear.
- Write your roll number and details only in the boxes on the title page.
- Write your name or roll number nowhere else in the copy.
- Do not fold, roll, tear or unstaple the copy, and keep it dry.
- Hand the copy to the invigilator at the end, even if it is blank.
Writing a message, a request or a phone number for the examiner is banned too. So is any mark that could identify you.
Your roll number slip QR code is scanned for attendance
BISE DG Khan has also told centre superintendents to mark attendance on its Attendance Management System (AMS) app. The superintendent scans the QR code on your roll number slip first, then the QR code on the answer copy given to you, and checks that the name and roll number match.
For a student, that means two things. Bring your printed roll number slip to every paper, because its QR code is part of attendance. And keep the slip clean and uncreased so the code scans. The instructions also tell superintendents to record any unfair means case in the app at once, and to collect each answer copy themselves at the end.
The board posted a short video tutorial of the attendance app on the same day. If you still need your slip, our guide to BISE DG Khan online services and roll number slips shows where to get it.
Computer Science papers fall on 10 and 23 November on the Punjab date sheets
BISE DG Khan has not posted its own Inter 2nd Annual 2026 date sheet on its website. The BISE Sargodha date sheet puts Computer Science Part II on Tuesday 10 November and Part I on Monday 23 November 2026, both at 9:00 am. BISE Rawalpindi also has Part I on 23 November. Check your own slip for your date.
| Paper | Date on the BISE Sargodha date sheet |
|---|---|
| Computer Science, Part II (12th class) | Tuesday 10 November 2026, 9:00 am |
| Computer Science, Part I (11th class) | Monday 23 November 2026, 9:00 am |
Punjab's boards usually hold the same paper on the same day, but your roll number slip is the final word. For the wider roll number slip process across Punjab, see inter 2nd annual roll number slips 2026.
Common questions
Where do I solve MCQs in the BISE DG Khan Computer Science answer copy?
On page 3 only. The board's poster says not to solve MCQs on the last page.
Where can I do rough work?
Only on the last page, page 34. Rough work anywhere else may confuse the marking.
Will I get an extra sheet in the Computer Science paper?
No. The board says no extra or supplementary sheet will be given, so plan your answers to fit.
Can I use whitener on the digital answer copy?
No. Draw one straight line through a wrong answer instead. Whitener on an MCQ bubble gives that question zero.
Which pen should I use?
A blue or black ink pen. Red or green ink, highlighters, markers and smudging gel pens are not allowed.
Does on-screen marking apply to other subjects?
The 7 November notices name only Computer Science Part I and Part II for the 2nd Annual Exam 2026.
How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
Last checked on 7 November 2026. We read four BISE DG Khan notices posted on 7 November 2026: the on-screen marking poster for students, the SOPs for candidates on the digital answer copy, the specimen answer sheet and the instructions for centre superintendents. The paper dates come from the BISE Sargodha and BISE Rawalpindi date sheets, not from DG Khan.
