Short answer: BPSC Consolidated Advertisement No. 09/2026 has 250 posts in 9 groups across Balochistan departments, and it closes on Wednesday 11 November 2026. Apply online at bpsc.gob.pk. The fee is Rs 800 for BPS-16 and BPS-17 posts and Rs 600 for BPS-11 posts, paid with a PSID.
Most of the seats sit in two places: 109 officer posts that need a veterinary degree, and 118 Sub-Engineer posts. If you hold a veterinary degree or a three year engineering diploma, this advertisement is written for you. The rest are small groups of computer posts and one more livestock group.
We opened the Balochistan Public Service Commission jobs page on 12 October 2026 and read the full advertisement, which is dated 9 October 2026 and runs to four scanned pages.
The advertisement lists 250 posts in 9 groups
The 250 posts span the Science and IT, Livestock and Dairy Development, Local Government and Rural Development, Public Health Engineering, and Communication Works departments. Two groups carry 109 and 50 seats. The other seven are smaller.
| Post | Scale | Posts | Department |
|---|---|---|---|
| Computer Instructor | BPS-17 | 3 | Science and IT |
| Hardware or Network Technician | BPS-16 | 3 | Science and IT |
| Computer Operator | BPS-16 | 4 | Science and IT |
| Assistant Director and other officer posts, Animal Health | BPS-17 | 109 | Livestock and Dairy Development |
| Assistant Director and other posts, Farm and Feed Resources | BPS-17 | 13 | Livestock and Dairy Development |
| Sub-Engineer (DAE Civil) | BPS-11 | 32 | Local Government and Rural Development |
| Sub-Engineer (DAE Civil, Electrical or Mechanical) | BPS-11 | 30 | Public Health Engineering |

| Sub-Engineer (DAE Civil) | BPS-11 | 50 | Communication Works and Housing |

Qualification, age and zone rules differ by post
Each post has its own degree rule. Veterinary posts need a DVM or a B.Sc. (Hons) in Animal Husbandry or Veterinary Science, plus registration with the Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council. Sub-Engineer posts need a three year Diploma of Associate Engineer, or a four year B.E. for the six B.E. posts.
Age is 18 to 28 years on the closing date, plus the general relaxation the Government of Balochistan grants. The scan is hard to read on the exact number of relaxation years, so confirm it in the advertisement before you rely on it. Government servants with two years of regular service get relaxation up to 50 years. The advertisement says no further relaxation applies beyond that.
Seats are split by zone: Merit, Kalat, Zhob, Nasirabad, Mekran, Quetta, Sibi and Quetta City. Some groups also have quotas for the disabled, women and minorities. All posts are open to men and women. The advertisement says the zonal split follows the Balochistan Recruitment Policy of 1991.
Your Balochistan domicile certificate must be of your own district. A married woman who is not in government service may use her husband's domicile, but the certificate must show her name.
Fee is Rs 800 or Rs 600, paid online with a PSID
The fee depends on the scale. BPS-16 and BPS-17 posts cost Rs 800. BPS-11 posts cost Rs 600. You pay online with a PSID, a payment number the portal generates, through 1Link banking channels, mobile apps, ATMs or a bank counter.
Keep the paid challan safe. BPSC’s home page tells candidates not to send it to the office. You must produce it when you appear for the exam. The advertisement also says all applications go online, no hard copy is needed, and no extra time is given for post.

This is a second open BPSC advertisement
BPSC Advertisement 07/2026 is still open and closes on 14 October 2026. The new one closes four weeks later. If you are eligible for a post in both, apply to each separately, because each post makes its own PSID.
Our step-by-step on how to apply for BPSC jobs online covers the account, profile and PSID. The process is the same here.
How to apply before 11 November
Do not wait for the last week, when the portal slows down. The steps are short.
- Open bpsc.gob.pk and click Apply Online.
- Create an account with your CNIC, or sign in.
- Complete your profile with degree, domicile and age details.
- Choose the post and the zone you qualify for, then generate the PSID.
- Pay the Rs 800 or Rs 600 fee, then finish the application on the portal.

If you qualify for the interview stage, BPSC will ask by SMS and phone for one set of documents attested by a Gazetted officer within ten days. These include four photographs, degree and DMCs, CNIC, experience certificate where needed, domicile certificate and the departmental permission certificate for government servants.
