The Child Protection and Welfare Bureau Punjab has 120 jobs open through NTS, 111 of them for child attendants, and the last date to apply online is 31 October 2026, with a Rs 550 test fee. The printed form and documents must also reach NTS's Lahore office by the same date, or the application may be rejected.

The bureau is an autonomous body under the administrative control of the Home Department, Government of Punjab, based at Angoori Bagh Scheme on Link Shalimar Road, Lahore. These are one year jobs on a lump sum pay package, extendable, for Punjab domicile holders. Below are all five posts, the quota split, the age limits, the fee and the steps, from the advertisement NTS published on 15 October 2026.

The bureau is hiring for five posts and 120 places

The advertisement lists five posts. Child Attendant is the big one, with 111 places split between 26 for men and 85 for women. The others are three nurses, four accountants, one religious teacher and one dispenser. Posting can be anywhere in Punjab.

Child Protection Bureau Punjab jobs 2026: posts and places

For nurses, accountants and the dispenser, the bureau says knowledge of MS Office will be preferred. For child attendants, the preferred two years of experience must be in child care, supervision, rehabilitation or welfare at a government, semi-government, autonomous or registered private body.

Quotas set aside 11 of the 120 places

Most places are on open merit. The advertisement reserves seats for women, minorities and special persons, the official term for people with disabilities. Of the 120 places, 109 are open merit, five go to minorities, five to special persons and one to the women's quota.

  • Child Attendant (male): 24 open, 1 minority, 1 special person.
  • Child Attendant (female): 78 open, 4 minority, 3 special person.
  • Nurse: 2 open, 1 special person.
  • Accountant: 3 open, 1 women's quota.
  • Religious Teacher and Dispenser: 1 open place each.

These totals are our addition from the advertisement's table. If you apply on a quota, keep the certificate that proves it ready before you fill in the form.

Apply on NTS online, then post the printed form to Lahore

The bureau will not accept applications sent to it directly. You apply online on the NTS website, pay the Rs 550 test fee, then send the printed online form with photos and attested copies to NTS's Lahore office. Both must happen by 31 October 2026.

  1. Open the NTS website, find "Child Protection Welfare Bureau, Punjab October 2026" under open applications, and register.
  2. Fill in the online form for one post.
  3. Pay the Rs 550 fee at a bank through 1Link 1Bill, an ATM, internet or mobile banking, Easypaisa, JazzCash or a TCS Express counter.
  4. Print the online generated form.
  5. Attach two recent passport size photos and attested copies of your CNIC, domicile, educational certificates and experience certificate.
  6. Send it to NTS Lahore Office 201, FF Block, CCA, Phase IV, DHA, Lahore, so that it arrives by 31 October.
Steps to apply for Child Protection Bureau Punjab jobs through NTS

The fee is non-refundable and cannot be moved to another post. If you are in a government job already, the bureau says you must apply through proper channel. The general NTS process, from registration to the roll number slip, is in our page on NTS test registration and results.

Your age is counted on 31 October 2026

The advertisement says the cut-off date for the age limit is the last date for online applications, which is 31 October 2026. Age relaxation is allowed under the Punjab Government's policy, but the advertisement does not set out how many years.

So a child attendant applicant must be between 25 and 32 on 31 October. Someone born on 1 November 2001 is still 24 on that date and misses the lower limit by one day. That example is ours, and it shows how tight the cut-off can be.

Check your date of birth against your matric certificate, not just your CNIC. If the two differ, sort it out before you apply, because the attested copies you post to NTS will show both.

Only shortlisted candidates get an interview, with no travel allowance

The advertisement says only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview, and no TA or DA, meaning travel or daily allowance, will be paid for the test or interview. The bureau also keeps the right to change the number of posts or withhold appointments.

The pay is a lump sum package for one year, extendable depending on budget and performance. The advertisement does not state the monthly amount for any post. Ask at interview, and do not rely on any figure you see shared online until the bureau confirms it.

NTS's portal terms say it bears no responsibility for any job offer made through its applications. The appointing body is the bureau. For other open government jobs in the province, the official route is set out in our page on the Punjab job portal.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

Last checked on 25 October 2026. We read the bureau's vacancy announcement, a one page PDF uploaded to the NTS candidate portal on 15 October 2026, through a page image, and the open applications list on NTS's website, which shows the last date as 31 October 2026. The advertisement itself is on the NTS candidate portal. The bureau's own website did not load from our connection. We could not confirm the monthly pay, the test date, the syllabus, or the number of years of age relaxation. The quota totals and age examples are our own arithmetic from the advertisement.
