World Cup 2027 Ticket Ballot Passes 15 Million Applications: Deadline 2:59 am PKT on 22 November
The ICC says its 2027 World Cup ticket ballot has 15,083,752 applications from 142 countries. Entry is free and closes 2:59 am Pakistan time on 22 November.

Short answer: The ICC says its 2027 Cricket World Cup ticket ballot had 15,083,752 applications and 4,423,417 registrations from 142 countries by 13 October 2026. That is 12 days after it opened. Entry is free and closes on 21 November at 23:59 South African time, which is 2:59 am Pakistan time on 22 November.
We read the ICC's statement on the ballot demand on 13 October 2026. The figures are the ICC's own. This page explains what they mean for a fan in Pakistan, why you do not need to rush, and what to do before the deadline.
The ICC reports more than 15 million applications in 12 days
The ICC says applications grew from one million to more than 15 million in under two weeks. Registrations stand at 4,423,417, from fans in 142 countries. One person can apply for many matches, so the application count is far higher than the registration count.
The ICC also quotes its chief executive, who calls the demand a sign of the stature of the tournament and of Africa as a host. The tournament is the 14th men's World Cup. It is hosted by South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia, and starts on 2 October 2027.

Applying early does not improve your chances
The ICC says the ballot is not first come, first served. The time you register has no effect on your chance. Where demand is higher than the number of seats, tickets are given by random selection.
So the jump to 15 million applications is no reason to panic. A fan who applies on 20 November has the same chance as a fan who applied on 1 October. What counts is that you enter every match you want before the deadline.
Entry costs nothing. No payment is taken at registration. Successful applicants get an email with instructions to buy, so use an email address you check often.
The Pakistan time for the deadline is 2:59 am on 22 November
The ICC gives the close as 21 November 2026 at 23:59 CAT. CAT means Central Africa Time, which is three hours behind Pakistan. In Pakistan that is 2:59 am on Sunday 22 November. The date was chosen because it is exactly one year before the final, which is set for the Wanderers in Johannesburg on 21 November 2027.
Do not leave the entry to the last night. Finish it in the evening of 21 November at the latest, and keep the confirmation email. The step by step method, the four ticket limit and the visa points are in our guide to entering the World Cup 2027 ticket ballot from Pakistan.

What a Pakistani fan should do before the deadline
Pakistan's group matches are the ones most fans ask about. Check the fixture list first, so you know which dates and cities you want. The page on the Pakistan Cricket World Cup 2027 schedule lists them.
- Create your ICC account on the official ticket site and verify your email.
- Choose the matches you want. Each match is a separate entry.
- Apply for more than one match, because the draw is random.
- Submit before the evening of 21 November and save the confirmation.
- Check your email and spam folder after the ICC sends results.
The ICC did not say in the statement we read how many seats there are in total, or how many tickets each match has. It also gave no ticket prices. We cannot say what share of applicants will win, and nobody outside the ICC can say it yet.

Why the number is so large and what it does not tell you
A figure of 15 million sounds like bad news for most fans. It is not that simple. The ICC counts applications, and one fan can send in dozens of them, one for each match. A single person who asks for 20 matches adds 20 to the count.
The registration figure of 4.4 million is closer to the number of people. Even so, the ICC did not say how many seats it will release, so no one can work out the odds. Apply for a spread of matches, not only the most popular one, and you give yourself more ways to win.
