Does Snapchat Pay in Pakistan? Yes for Story Ads, Plus the $100 Cash Out and Bank Fees
Snapchat lists Pakistan for Story ad payouts but not Spotlight rewards. See the 50,000 follower rule, the $100 cash out and the $3.95 bank fee before you start.

Yes, Snapchat does pay creators in Pakistan, but only through ads shown inside Public Stories, and only once Snap invites you to its Monetization Program. Pakistan is on Snap's payout list for Creator Midroll Ads within Stories, but it is not on the list for the Spotlight Reward Program or Lens Creator Rewards. Below are the exact entry rules, the $100 cash out limit, the Pakistani bank fee and the scams to avoid.
Plenty of Pakistani creators assume Snapchat is closed to them because Spotlight payouts never opened here. That is half right. We read Snap's own help pages on 24 October 2026, and its country list for story ads names Pakistan in plain words.
Pakistan is on Snapchat's payout list for Story ads only
Snap's help centre lists Pakistan for Creator Midroll Ads within Stories, but not for the Spotlight Reward Program or Lens Creator Rewards. So a Pakistani creator can earn a share of ad revenue inside the Monetization Program, but cannot join the separate Spotlight reward scheme.
The page that settles this is Snap's article on countries eligible for a payout. It has three separate lists. Pakistan, Lebanon, Malaysia and Poland appear on the first list and not on the other two.
| Snapchat programme | Pakistan eligible? | What it pays for |
|---|---|---|
| Monetization Program (Midroll Ads within Stories) | Yes | A share of ads placed between Snaps in Public Stories and in Spotlights |
| Spotlight Reward Program | No | Separate rewards for top Spotlight videos |
| Lens Creator Rewards | No | Rewards for popular AR Lenses |
One warning before you plan around this. Snap's older Creator Rewards FAQ still carries a shorter country list without Pakistan. The newer pages include it. We treat the newer, programme-specific list as the current one, but expect the older wording to confuse people in comment threads.

You need 50,000 followers and an invitation to get paid
Snap invites creators by email; nobody applies. To be considered you need at least 50,000 followers, 15,000 hours of view time in the last 28 days with at least 3,000 hours from Spotlight, Snap Star status, original content and an age of 18 or over.
Snap's page About Snapchat's Monetization Program, updated on 29 September 2026, sets out the full list:
- At least 50,000 followers.
- 15,000 hours of view time in the last 28 days, with 3,000 or more from Spotlight.
- Be 18 or older, or the age of legal majority in your country.
- Post original, advertiser-friendly content that follows the Community Guidelines.
- Live in an eligible country, which now includes Pakistan for Story ads.
- Be a Snap Star, which is Snap's verified creator badge.
- Accept the Monetization Terms and Creator Monetization Policy.
There is one more rule that started on 7 May 2026. To earn the maximum rewards you must keep at least 100 hours of total Spotlight view time on your posts over the last 28 days. Insights shows this figure under "Daily Rewards Eligibility". Spotlight videos also need to run for at least 30 seconds to earn.

Cash out starts at $100 and takes about four weeks
Rewards sit as Pending for 14 days, then become Available. You can cash out once you have at least $100 in Available rewards. Snap then sends the money to its Payout Portal, run by Hyperwallet, which usually takes another 14 days or longer.
Open your Profile and tap "My Creator Rewards" to see the hub. From there the flow is short:
- Fill in your legal name and contact details in your Profile. Snap says you cannot edit them later, so match your CNIC exactly.
- Activate the Snapchat Payout Portal through Hyperwallet.
- Tap Cash Out when your Available balance passes $100.
- Withdraw from the Payout Portal to your chosen method.
Do not sit on a balance forever. Snap says it will push a cash out itself if your balance has not changed for a year or has not been cashed out for two years, provided it is $100 or more. If your account is not in good standing by then, you lose eligibility for those rewards.
A Pakistani bank withdrawal costs $3.95 in PKR
Hyperwallet charges $3.95 per local bank transfer to Pakistan, paid in rupees. A wire transfer costs 2%, with a $10 minimum and a $20 cap. PayPal is listed at $0.50, but PayPal does not serve Pakistani residents, so use the bank transfer.
These figures come from Snap's payment provider fee table. Here is what a first $100 cash out looks like before your bank does anything:
| Withdrawal method | Fee on $100 | You receive (before bank and exchange) |
|---|---|---|
| Local bank transfer to Pakistan (PKR) | $3.95 | $96.05 in rupees |
| Wire transfer | $10 (the minimum) | $90 |
| PayPal | $0.50 | Not usable from Pakistan |
The $96.05 and $90 figures are our arithmetic. Hyperwallet also quotes a foreign exchange fee at the time of the request, which we could not see without an account, so the rupee amount will be a little lower. A wrong bank detail costs $10 when the money bounces back, so copy your IBAN from your bank app.

Anyone selling a Snapchat monetization invite is a scammer
Snap says it charges no fee for an invitation and no third party controls eligibility. An agent on WhatsApp or Instagram who offers to "enable monetization" for a fee is lying. Snap only invites creators by email to the address on the account.
The same pattern shows up across every app that pays creators. A stranger wants money up front, then a second fee to release the first payout. The tests in do online earning apps in Pakistan actually pay apply here too. If you have already paid someone, report it through the steps to report a cybercrime in Pakistan and keep every chat and transfer receipt.
Your earnings are also foreign income. A creator taking regular payouts should read how to declare YouTube and TikTok income in an FBR return, because the same rules cover Snapchat money.
Common questions
Does Snapchat pay in Pakistan in 2026?
Yes, for ads in Public Stories and Spotlights inside the Monetization Program. Snap lists Pakistan for Midroll Ads within Stories. It does not list Pakistan for the Spotlight Reward Program.
How many followers do I need to earn on Snapchat?
At least 50,000 followers, plus 15,000 hours of view time in 28 days, 3,000 of them from Spotlight. You also need Snap Star status and an email invitation from Snap.
What is the minimum Snapchat payout?
$100. Rewards wait 14 days as Pending, then you can cash out once Available rewards reach $100.
Can I withdraw Snapchat money to a Pakistani bank?
Yes. Hyperwallet lists a local bank transfer to Pakistan in PKR for $3.95 a transfer.
Can I use PayPal for Snapchat payouts in Pakistan?
No. Hyperwallet offers PayPal, but PayPal's own country list does not include Pakistan, so use a local bank transfer instead.
Why does a Snapchat page say Pakistan is not eligible?
The older Creator Rewards FAQ still shows a shorter list. Snap's newer programme-by-programme page includes Pakistan for Story ads.
How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
We read Snap's help articles on payout countries, Creator Rewards, the Creator Rewards FAQ, the Monetization Program and payment provider fees on 24 October 2026, all on help.snapchat.com. We checked PayPal's worldwide country list the same day; it does not name Pakistan. We could not see Hyperwallet's foreign exchange rate or the exact rupee amount a Pakistani bank credits, because that needs a live Payout Portal account. We also could not confirm how many Pakistani creators Snap has invited so far.
