After the Mexico City Grand Prix, Kimi Antonelli leads the 2026 F1 drivers' standings on 380 points and is already champion, Max Verstappen is second on 261, and Mercedes lead the constructors' table on 630 points to Ferrari's 504. Four races are left, and two fights are still open: second place among the drivers and the constructors' title itself.

We copied both tables from Formula 1's official results pages on 2 November 2026, the morning after Mexico. Below is every one of the 24 drivers and all 11 teams, the simple maths for what can still change, and the four remaining race times in Pakistan. A Grand Prix win is worth 25 points, and no sprint races are left this season, so 100 is the most any driver can still add.

Antonelli leads the drivers' standings by 119 points and is champion

Kimi Antonelli has 380 points, 119 more than Verstappen. Only 100 points remain, so nobody can catch him and he is the 2026 champion. Behind him, five drivers are separated by 40 points, from Verstappen on 261 to Lando Norris on 221.

F1 2026 drivers standings after Mexico, Antonelli 380, Verstappen 261, Hamilton 259, Russell 250, Leclerc 245

Three drivers on 7 points share 16th to 18th; Formula 1's table orders them Ocon, Alonso, Sainz. Ryo Hirakawa's single point came on his debut in Mexico. How Antonelli sealed it, and how Verstappen won the race, is in our Mexico Grand Prix 2026 result.

Five drivers can still finish second in the championship

Verstappen, Hamilton, Russell, Leclerc and Norris can all still finish second. Oscar Piastri cannot: his 144 plus the 100 points left makes 244, which is below the 261 Verstappen already has.

Who can finish second in F1 2026: Verstappen, Hamilton, Russell, Leclerc and Norris

Hamilton is the one to watch. He is only two points behind after finishing second in Mexico, so outscoring Verstappen by three points in Brazil would put him second. Norris needs about 10 points a race more than the others, which is a lot over four weekends.

Mercedes lead the constructors' standings by 126 points

Mercedes have 630 points, Ferrari 504, Red Bull Racing 382 and McLaren 365. Cadillac, in their first season, have none. The 126 point gap at the top is big, but a team can still score 43 points a race, so the title is not yet settled.

Mercedes can seal the constructors' title in Brazil

Mercedes become constructors' champions in Brazil if they outscore Ferrari there by at least 4 points. That would push their lead to 130 or more, above the 129 points a team could still win from the last three races.

The maths is simple once you see the numbers. A first and second place in the same race gives a team 25 plus 18, which is 43 points. Four races give 172, three give 129, two give 86. A team is champion when its lead is bigger than what is left.

  1. Brazil, 8 November: Mercedes win the title if their lead goes above 129.
  2. Las Vegas, 22 November: they need a lead above 86 after that race.
  3. Qatar, 29 November: they need a lead above 43.
  4. Abu Dhabi, 6 December: whoever has more points wins.

The closer fight is for third. Red Bull Racing lead McLaren by 17 points, less than half of one good weekend. Further down, Haas lead Audi by 4 points for seventh.

The last four races start at these times in Pakistan

The four remaining races start at 10:00 pm PKT in Brazil on 8 November, 9:00 am in Las Vegas on 22 November, 9:00 pm in Qatar on 29 November and 6:00 pm in Abu Dhabi on 6 December. All four fall on a Sunday in Pakistan.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

We read the drivers' standings and the teams' standings on Formula 1's official site on 2 November 2026, after the Mexico City Grand Prix, and the 2026 calendar page, which lists 23 rounds. The title and clinching maths is our own, using 25 points for a win and 18 for second. We did not check the FIA's tie-break wording, so the page does not say what happens if two drivers finish level. Race start times are our conversions from Formula 1's session listings.
