The F1 2027 calendar has 24 races, starting with the Bahrain Grand Prix on 12 to 14 March and ending in Abu Dhabi on 10 to 12 December. Formula 1's own 2027 season page lists every weekend, plus pre-season testing in Bahrain from 24 to 27 February.

That is one race more than 2026, which has 23 rounds. Portugal and Turkey come back, Saudi Arabia returns as round 2, and the Dutch race and the Barcelona-Catalunya race are not on the list. We read the 2027 page on formula1.com on 2 November 2026, the day after Kimi Antonelli sealed the 2026 title. Below is every date, the changes, the Gulf and Asian races that suit Pakistani evenings, and the clash with PSL 12. Start times are not published yet, so we give race days only.

The 2027 season starts in Bahrain on 14 March and ends in Abu Dhabi on 12 December

Round 1 is the Bahrain Grand Prix, 12 to 14 March 2027, and round 24 is Abu Dhabi, 10 to 12 December. Testing is also in Bahrain, 24 to 27 February. Every race day is a Sunday except Las Vegas, which races on Saturday 20 November.

F1 2027 calendar first five races: Bahrain 14 March, Saudi Arabia 21 March, Australia 4 April, Japan 11 April, China 18 April

Las Vegas races on Saturday night in Nevada, which is Sunday morning in Pakistan. The 2026 Las Vegas race starts at 9:00 am PKT on a Sunday, so expect the 2027 race at a similar breakfast hour.

Portugal, Turkey and Saudi Arabia join the 2027 list

Three races on the 2027 list did not run in 2026: Saudi Arabia, Portugal and Turkey. Two 2026 races are missing from 2027: the Netherlands and the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix. Spain keeps one race, in September.

F1 2027 has 24 races, one more than the 23 in 2026, with testing in Bahrain from 24 to 27 February

Bahrain is the biggest shift. In 2026 it ran on 4 October, near the end of the year. In 2027 it opens the season, which also puts testing and the first race at the same circuit three weeks apart.

Nine Gulf, Asian and Turkish races fall at easy hours in Pakistan

Nine races are close to Pakistan's clock: Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Abu Dhabi, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Singapore, China and Japan. The Gulf races fall in Pakistan's evening, while China and Japan usually fall in the morning or around midday here.

The time gaps stay fixed all year, because Pakistan and these countries do not use daylight saving time:

  • Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey: Pakistan is 2 hours ahead.
  • Abu Dhabi and Azerbaijan: Pakistan is 1 hour ahead.
  • China and Singapore: Pakistan is 3 hours behind.
  • Japan: Pakistan is 4 hours behind.

For comparison, the 2026 Qatar race starts at 9:00 pm PKT and Abu Dhabi at 6:00 pm PKT. The Americas are the hard ones: Mexico in 2026 started at 1:00 am PKT on a Monday.

Saudi Arabia on 21 March falls inside PSL 12

The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix on Sunday 21 March 2027 falls three days after PSL 12 starts on 18 March. Australia, Japan, China and Miami also fall inside the PSL window, which runs to 2 May. Only Bahrain on 14 March comes before it.

For a Pakistani fan who follows both, plan like this:

  1. Note the five F1 race days inside PSL 12: 21 March, 4 April, 11 April, 18 April and 2 May.
  2. Check each day's PSL fixture once the league publishes its match list.
  3. Expect the Japan and China races in Pakistan's morning, so they rarely clash with evening cricket.
  4. Expect Miami late at night in Pakistan, so check whether a PSL night match runs late.
  5. Recheck F1 start times when Formula 1 publishes each weekend's sessions.

The league's dates are in our report on PSL 12 dates, 18 March to 2 May 2027.

Start times in PKT are not published yet

Formula 1's 2027 page lists dates only, not session times. Race start times are normally added to each event page before the season. Until then, any list showing exact 2027 PKT times is an estimate, so check the official page before planning a late night.

For the rest of 2026, the four remaining races and the title fights are in our F1 standings after Mexico, and every session time is in the F1 2026 schedule in Pakistan time.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

We read the 2027 season page on formula1.com on 2 November 2026. It lists 24 rounds and testing but no session times, no circuit names for every race and no announcement date, so we name races by country. The 2026 comparison uses the 2026 race results page and the 2026 calendar page, read the same day. Weekdays and time gaps are our own working. The PSL dates come from our earlier report on the league's announcement.
