How to File a Company Application With SECP Online Before 10 am
File your company application with SECP through eServices: account, PIN, six steps, payment by app, card or challan, and the 10 am cut off for same day work.

Short answer: To file a company application with SECP online, create an eServices account and a signing PIN, fill the form, sign it with the PIN, submit it and pay the fee. File by 10:00 am on a working day for same day processing. After 10:00 am the application waits for the next working day.
Two founders can write the same application and get different results, only because one pressed submit at 9:40 am and the other at 10:20 am. SECP states the cut off on its own registration page, and it is easy to miss.
We read the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan's registration of company page on 13 October 2026. This guide covers how to file, how to pay and when to use an agent. For the name rules, read the page on how to check a company name before you apply to SECP. The fee amounts were not readable for us, so none are quoted.
Online filing needs an eServices account and a PIN
SECP says an online user must create a user name and password under the user registration system of eServices, then generate a PIN. The PIN is used to sign the application. Do this before the day you want to file, because a new account can take time to set up.
Keep the user name, password and PIN in a safe place. If a partner or an employee files for you, they need their own account. Never share the PIN by message.
SECP also provides a user registration flyer, a video and a written guide on its site. If you have never used the portal, watch the video once before you start.

Follow six steps from login to payment
The steps on the SECP page are short. The hard part is having the documents ready, not the clicks.
- Log on to the eServices portal with your user name and password.
- Submit before 10:00 am if you want same day processing.
- Enter the data in the online form.
- Sign the form with your PIN.
- Submit the application.
- Pay the fee by card, mobile banking, internet banking or an ATM of a 1Link bank.
The application needs a short memorandum and articles of association. SECP says a complete application with these, filed by 10:00 am on a working day, is disposed of the same day. If you file after 10:00 am, it is taken the next working day.
Notice the word complete. A form with a missing document is not complete, and the clock does not help you. Check everything on the evening before.
Pay with a card, an app or a PSID slip
SECP allows payment through a credit or debit card, or through mobile banking, internet banking or ATM services of a 1Link bank. If you prefer a branch, print the PSID slip and pay over the counter at any branch of a 1Link member bank. You can also print the fee challan and deposit it at the selected MCB or UBL branch.
| Route | How you pay | Document you need |
|---|---|---|
| Online, card or app | Debit or credit card, mobile banking, internet banking or ATM of a 1Link bank | The online application |
| Online, branch payment | Any 1Link member bank branch | Printed PSID slip |
| Online, challan | Selected MCB or UBL branch | Printed fee challan |
| Offline | Designated MCB or UBL branch | M-challan, then original challan with the application |
SECP keeps a list of the 1Link banks that are active for SECP payments. Check that your bank is on it before you travel to a branch.

Offline filing goes to the Company Registration Office
If you cannot file online, SECP allows an offline application. Generate an M-challan, deposit the fee at a designated branch of MCB or UBL, and submit the application with the original fee challan to the Registrar at the concerned CRO. CRO means Company Registration Office.
The same 10:00 am rule applies to the processing time. Offline filing needs a visit, so allow for travel and queues. Most founders in a big city will find online filing quicker.
Offline is still useful when the founders do not have a reliable internet connection or a card. Just keep the original challan safe, because the Registrar needs it.
A registered intermediary can file for you
SECP says promoters may appoint one authorized intermediary from its list of registered intermediaries. This is useful if you are new to the portal or you are outside Pakistan. Choose only a name that appears on the official list.
The responsibility stays with you. SECP says the company or promoters must make sure the documents filed by the intermediary are filed with their consent and prior knowledge. They are also held responsible for the acts and omissions of that intermediary.
So read every document before the agent submits it. Do not give an agent a signed blank page. For what comes after incorporation, see how to register a private limited company with SECP, and plan the yearly work in how to file your company's annual return with SECP.
Open a bank account only after the certificate
A company bank account comes after incorporation, not before. Banks ask for the certificate of incorporation and your company documents. The page on opening a business bank account in Pakistan lists the documents by business type.
Also plan for tax. We have not confirmed here how a new company's tax number is issued, so check your NTN position with FBR through the page on how to get an NTN number after you have the certificate.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
Last checked on 13 October 2026, Pakistan time. We read SECP's page on registration of a company. We did not test the portal ourselves, and the fee calculator and schedule of fees were blocked when we tried to open them. Banks on the 1Link list can change, so check the current list on the SECP website.
