Fiverr acts in five steps, from Gig removal to suspension

Fiverr's actions range from removing one Gig to permanently suspending the account. Warnings expire after 90 days. A second warning for the same violation, or three warnings for different ones, leads to suspension. A restriction is the last stage before permanent suspension.

Fiverr sends a notice to your registered email with the reason and the appeal route. Check spam and junk folders if you only see a banner.

A restriction becomes permanent after 60 days

Fiverr says a restricted account keeps limited access for 60 days. During that time you can message existing clients through the active order page and access available or pending funds. After 60 days, the account is permanently suspended. Use those days to fix the cause and appeal.

Count the 60 days from the date on Fiverr's notice, not from when you noticed the banner. If the notice arrived during a busy week, you may have fewer days than you think.

Finish active orders properly during this window. A late or cancelled order now only adds to the record a reviewer will read.

Five common causes, and the fix for each

Fiverr's access guide lists the usual reasons an account is disabled or restricted: Terms of Service or Community Standards violations, payment disputes, pending ID verification, and missing financial documents such as tax forms or DAC7. Its enforcement page adds multiple accounts and hiding your location.

The VPN point matters in Pakistan, where VPN apps are widely installed. Fiverr lists "using methods to hide your online identity or location" among reasons to lose selling rights. It also says logging in from different places alone does not trigger a flag. Turn the VPN off when you use Fiverr. If the cause is ID, follow Fiverr ID verification in Pakistan before you write to support. Fiverr says completing the pending step is the first fix.

Appeal in four steps through Customer Support

Fiverr says you have the right to appeal any decision by filing a complaint with Customer Support within 6 months of the notification. Its access guide says to contact support@fiverr.com from your registered email address. Writing from that address also proves the account is yours.

1. Read Fiverr's Terms of Service and Community Standards against the reason in your notice.
2. Complete any pending ID verification and submit any missing tax or DAC7 documents.
3. Email support@fiverr.com from your registered address with your username, the date of the notice and your explanation.
4. Attach proof: order messages, delivery files, or ID screenshots. Send one clear appeal, not daily follow-ups.

Keep it short and factual. Say what happened, what you have fixed, and what proof you attach. A long message about losing your income does not answer the reason Fiverr gave.

If your account still shows as restricted after verification, Fiverr's guide says to sign out and back in, then send support a screenshot of what you see so they can reset the flow.

Your money: Fiverr's two pages give different waits

Fiverr's enforcement page says a restricted seller can still reach available and pending funds for withdrawal during the 60 day window, while a suspended seller must wait 90 days. Its access guide says the balance of a disabled or restricted account can be withdrawn after 90 days.

The two pages do not line up exactly for restricted accounts. In practice, plan for the longer wait. If you can still withdraw during a restriction, do it while the window is open, using your normal route as set out in withdrawing Fiverr earnings in Pakistan.

Do not open a new Fiverr account

Fiverr's access guide says creating a new account after yours has been disabled is not allowed. Operating multiple accounts is itself a reason Fiverr gives for removing selling rights. A new account in a sibling's name is still a second account for the same person.

If you closed an account in the past and want it back, Fiverr can restore it through support, unless it was closed for more than a year and has been deleted.

Beware of anyone on Facebook or WhatsApp offering to "unban" a Fiverr account for a fee. Only Fiverr's own support can review an appeal.
