The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) posted personal hearing decisions for eight teacher and school head recruitments between 2 and 4 November 2026, and in every decision we read it kept the rejection. The posts are in the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE), Islamabad, and in Federal Government Educational Institutions (Cantts/Garrison). A candidate who still disagrees can file a review petition with a Rs 500 treasury receipt within 15 days.

FPSC also called one Vice Principal (Female) candidate to a hearing in Quetta on 10 November, and on 2 November it published a preliminary shortlist for Lecturer (Male) posts in Islamabad Model Colleges. We read each notice on fpsc.gov.pk on 4 November 2026.

FPSC upheld rejections for eight FDE and FGEI posts

A personal hearing is the second chance FPSC gives after a written representation against rejection. The candidate meets the Commission, explains the case and shows documents. The notices posted this week are the outcomes.

Each decision reads the same way: "The Commission after due consideration has maintained your rejection." The table lists the recruitments, the number of posts and the date of the decision.

Each notice covers only a handful of candidates, usually one or two. It does not mean the whole recruitment has a problem. It means these specific appeals failed. We have not printed names or roll numbers.

A review petition costs Rs 500 and must be filed in 15 days

Every decision offers one more step. If you have "sufficient evidence" that the grounds of rejection are not justified, you may file a review petition. It must come with complete documentary proof and an original treasury receipt of Rs 500.

The deadline is 15 days. Most notices count it from the issue of the letter. The Vice Principal (Female) notice of 2 November counts it from when the decision was sent by SMS or email and published on the website. After 15 days, FPSC says no request or petition "will be entertained".

  1. Read the decision next to your original rejection letter.
  2. Collect the document that answers that reason, such as a degree dated before the closing date.
  3. Pay the Rs 500 fee into the government treasury and keep the original receipt.
  4. Write a short petition with your roll number, case number and post name.
  5. Send it to FPSC within 15 days and keep proof of delivery.

A petition without new evidence is unlikely to change anything, because the Commission has already heard you in person. Our guide to challenging an FPSC rejection explains the full chain, from representation to review and then the High Court.

Five steps to file an FPSC review petition after a personal hearing decision

One Vice Principal hearing is set for Quetta on 10 November

On 4 November FPSC also called a Vice Principal (Female) candidate for a personal hearing. The hearing is at 9:00 am on 10 November 2026 at the FPSC Provincial Office, 758/A-A-2, Jinnah Town, Samungali Road, Quetta.

The notice sets firm rules. FPSC will not change the centre or the date. If the candidate does not attend, the Commission will decide ex parte, meaning without hearing her. No travel or daily allowance is paid.

Lecturer (Male) preliminary shortlist is out

On 2 November FPSC published a preliminary shortlist for Lecturer (Male) (BS-17) in Islamabad Model Colleges, FDE. It was drawn up from online applications and scanned documents sent by email.

Shortlisted candidates will be called for physical verification of documents and interview "as and when scheduled". Their final status depends on the documents they show the day before the interview. Candidates rejected at this stage will get formal rejection letters later. The reasons printed in the notice include not holding the required degree by the closing date and being overage.

If you are on the list, start your file now. Our checklist for FPSC physical verification documents lists what to carry. FPSC contacts candidates by website notice, SMS and email, as explained in how FPSC contacts candidates.
