FPSC Interviews in Islamabad, 20 to 23 October 2026: 110 Candidates Called for 10 Posts
FPSC interviews 110 candidates for 10 posts in Islamabad from 20 to 23 October 2026. See each case, the scrutiny day, the documents and the timing clashes.

Short answer: The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) is interviewing 110 candidates for 10 federal posts at its Islamabad headquarters from Tuesday 20 to Friday 23 October 2026. On 19 October 2026 it posted the named candidate lists for eight of them. Each candidate has a document check at 9:00 am the day before the interview.
We read FPSC's Interview Programmes 145/2026 and 146/2026 and the twelve candidate notices it uploaded between 16 and 19 October 2026. Most of these FPSC interviews are for teaching posts in Islamabad Model Colleges and Schools. Three posts at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), a library director post and an FPSC data post fill the rest. If your roll number is on a list, the dates below are the ones that count.
FPSC calls 110 candidates for 10 posts from 20 to 23 October
The two programmes list 110 candidates across 10 recruitment cases between 20 and 23 October 2026. All interviews are at FPSC Headquarters, Aga Khan Road, Sector F-5/1, Islamabad. Candidates from Karachi and Quetta in Programme 145 are interviewed over Zoom from Islamabad.
Programme 145 covers four cases and 49 candidates in this window. Programme 146 covers six cases and 61 candidates. We added the "No. of candidate(s) called" column for each day ourselves. Both programmes also keep one slot a day for "Interview/P.H of any other case", which means a personal hearing or a leftover interview from another case.

| Date | Case and post | Called |
|---|---|---|
| Tue 20 Oct | F.4-29/2026-R Associate Professor or Vice Principal (Male), BS-19, Islamabad Model Colleges | 13 |
| Tue 20 Oct | F.4-93/2026-R Lecturer (Male), BS-17, Islamabad Model Colleges | 15 |
| Wed 21 Oct | F.4-94/2026-R Associate Professor or Vice Principal (Male), BS-19, physics and Pakistan studies | 9 |
| Wed 21 Oct | F.4-71/2026-R Director (Technical), BS-19, National Library of Pakistan | 5 |
| Wed 21 Oct | F.4-99/2026-R Assistant Education Officer, BS-16, Federal Directorate of Education | 1 |
| Wed 21 Oct | F.4-97/2026-R Librarian (Male), Islamabad Model Schools | 6 |
| Wed 21 to Fri 23 Oct | F.4-91/2026-R Assistant Professor, BS-18, PIMS (medicine, surgery, neonatology, rheumatology) | 17 |

| Fri 23 Oct | F.4-94/2026-R Associate Professor or Vice Principal (Male), computer science | 11 |
| Fri 23 Oct | F.4-80/2026-R Data Processing Assistant, BS-16, FPSC | 2 |
Case F.4-94 appears twice because its physics and Pakistan studies candidates sit on 21 October and its computer science candidates on 23 October. That is why the table has 11 rows for 10 cases.
Eight named candidate lists went up on 19 October
On 19 October 2026 FPSC uploaded named candidate notices for cases 71, 73, 80, 86, 91, 94, 97 and 99. Lists for cases 29 and 93 went up on 17 October. Each notice gives the roll number, the scrutiny date and the interview date.
The notices sit on FPSC's interview schedule candidate list page, which FPSC marked "Updated 19-10-2026". Find your case number first, then your subject category, then your roll number. The case number is the "F.4-xx/2026-R" reference printed on your earlier test result and admission letter.
- Open the interview candidate list page on fpsc.gov.pk.
- Find your case number, for example F.4-86/2026-R.
- Open the newest notice for that case, dated 17 or 19 October 2026.
- Check your roll number, your category and the two dates.
- Note the scrutiny time of 9:00 am on the day before your interview.

Document scrutiny comes one day before each interview
Every notice we read sets document scrutiny for 9:00 am on the day before the interview, at the same centre. Only candidates found eligible at scrutiny sit the interview. Miss the scrutiny day and you risk losing the interview.
So a Senior Elementary Teacher candidate in biology, zoology or botany has scrutiny on 21 October and the interview on 22 October at 10:00 am. The education category of the same case has scrutiny on 22 October and the interview on 23 October. The PIMS medicine and surgery candidates have scrutiny on 20 October and interviews on 21 October.
The notices list what to carry. Bring two photographs, your original self domicile certificate, original CNIC, matric and intermediate certificates, and all degrees with transcripts. Add diplomas and experience certificates, a filled departmental permission certificate if you are in government service, and HEC equivalence if your degree needs it. Professionals must show PMDC, PEC, PNC or similar registration. Carry two attested photocopy sets of everything. The full checklist is in our note on FPSC physical verification documents.
Times differ between the programme and the 19 October notices
The programme and the candidate notices do not always match on timing. Where they differ, plan for the earlier time. The notice dated 19 October is the newer document, and FPSC says change of centre and date is not allowed.
We found four differences. Case F.4-71 shows 11:45 am in Programme 145 but 11:15 am in its notice. Case F.4-99 shows 9:30 am in the programme and 9:00 am in the notice. The education category of case F.4-86 shows 11:00 am in the programme and 10:30 am in the notice. And the Librarian (Male) post is BS-17 in Programme 146 but BS-16 in its 19 October notice. We could not confirm which grade is right, so check your advertisement.
Zoom for Karachi and Quetta, Islamabad for everyone else
Programme 145 says candidates from Karachi and Quetta will be interviewed over Zoom at Islamabad. Candidates from Lahore and Peshawar must come in person to Islamabad. Programme 146 carries no such note, so its candidates should plan to attend in person.
The starred entries in Programme 145 mark these out-of-station candidates. For example, the female Associate Professor list for computer science shows 4 plus 2 from Quetta, and English shows 3 plus 1 from Karachi. FPSC pays no travel or daily allowance, the notices say, and you are expected in formal dress.

The interview tests depth of knowledge in the subjects you studied, plus basic knowledge of Islam and Pakistan. Non-Muslim candidates are not asked about Islam. How the marks then decide merit is set out in our piece on FPSC interview qualifying marks. Serving employees should also have the departmental permission certificate ready, since scrutiny asks for the original.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
Last checked 20 October 2026. We read FPSC's Interview Programme 145/2026 and 146/2026, uploaded on 15 October 2026, and the candidate notices for cases F.4-29, 67, 71, 73, 80, 82, 86, 91, 93, 94, 97 and 99/2026-R, dated 16 to 19 October 2026, on FPSC's website. The 110 total, the per-day counts and the four timing and grade differences are our own reading of those documents. We did not publish candidate names. We could not confirm whether the Librarian post is BS-16 or BS-17. Interviews on 19 October for cases 67, 75 and 82 had already taken place when we checked.
