Google Opinion Rewards is not available in Pakistan. Google's own help page lists 39 countries where the Android app can be downloaded, and Pakistan is not one of them. Even where it works, it pays in Google Play credit, not cash. Below is the full country list, why a VPN or a changed Play country does not fix it, and what to do if an app claims to pay you through "Google surveys".

People in Pakistan search for this app every week, usually after seeing a video promising free Play credit for game top-ups. We read Google's help centre on 24 October 2026. The answer was short, and it is not the one those videos give.

Google Opinion Rewards works in 39 countries, and Pakistan is not one

Google's eligibility page names 39 countries where the Android app is available. India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates are on it. Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka are not. Only users aged 18 or over in those countries get surveys.

The source is Google's page on Opinion Rewards availability and eligibility. The list reads:

RegionCountries on Google's list
South and South East AsiaIndia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam
East AsiaHong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan
Middle EastTurkey, United Arab Emirates
EuropeAustria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom
Americas, Africa, OceaniaBrazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, United States, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand

We counted the names on the page and got 39, which matches the number Google states. So the absence of Pakistan is not a gap in our reading. It is the list.

Google Opinion Rewards is available in 39 countries and Pakistan is not on the list

The app pays Google Play credit that expires in one year

Even in the 39 countries, Opinion Rewards pays Google Play credit, not money. You spend it in the Play Store, and each credit expires one year after you earn it. Google says credits cannot be moved between accounts.

Google's Redeem rewards page spells out the rules. The amount per survey depends on the number of questions and the time it takes. Some surveys, like the setup questions, pay nothing at all. A referral bonus of $0.50 exists, but only for users in the United States.

  • Paid as: Google Play credit only.
  • Expiry: one year from the date each credit is earned.
  • Transfer: not allowed between accounts.
  • Survey frequency: whenever Google notifies you, and you cannot ask for more.
  • Minimum age: 18.

So "earn cash from Google Opinion Rewards" is wrong even for someone in London or Dubai. It is a way to get small amounts of store credit.

A VPN or a changed Play country does not make it work

Google decides survey eligibility and reward currency by your Google Account country, not your location or Play Store country. A Pakistani account stays Pakistani behind a VPN. Google reviews any country change request, and credit stays tied to the country where it was earned.

Google's page is direct about this. Your Google Account country can differ from your Google Play country and your physical location, but Opinion Rewards uses the account country. Credit earned in one country stays in that country's Play balance, and you can only spend it while your Play country matches.

That has a real cost for anyone who tries to game it. A Play balance earned under a foreign country cannot be spent once your Play country returns to Pakistan. Google also bars false answers, and says honest answers are how you keep getting surveys. Using a VPN in Pakistan has its own rules too; businesses and freelancers who need one should register a VPN with the PTA.

A "Google survey app" that pays cash in Pakistan is not Google

Because the real app is closed to Pakistan, look-alikes fill the gap. Any app that pays JazzCash or Easypaisa cash for "Google surveys", or asks a fee to unlock a withdrawal, is not Google Opinion Rewards. The real app pays only Play credit and charges nothing.

Run these checks before you install anything with "Google" or "rewards" in its name:

  1. Check the developer name in the Play Store listing. The real app is published by Google LLC.
  2. Check what it pays. Cash, JazzCash or Easypaisa payouts mean it is not the Google app.
  3. Check for fees. Google never charges to join or to withdraw.
  4. Check what it asks for. Your CNIC, wallet PIN or OTP should never be needed for a survey.
  5. If you paid someone, save the receipt and chat, then report it.

The wider tests are in do online earning apps in Pakistan actually pay. If money has already gone, the route to report a cybercrime to the NCCIA is the place to start.

What actually earns from Pakistan instead

If your goal is Play credit for games, you have to buy it. If your goal is real income, work-based platforms pay Pakistanis in dollars through Payoneer or a bank. Survey apps are not a meaningful income here, and Google's own app does not cover Pakistan.

For game currency, the routes that work from Pakistan are covered in Free Fire diamonds top-up in Pakistan. For dollar income, freelancing pays at the rate of the work, and withdrawing Fiverr earnings in Pakistan shows how the money reaches a local account.

Common questions

Is Google Opinion Rewards available in Pakistan?

No. Google lists 39 countries for the Android app and Pakistan is not among them, as of our check on 24 October 2026.

Does Google Opinion Rewards pay real money?

No. It pays Google Play credit, which you spend in the Play Store. It does not pay cash, PayPal or mobile wallet money in the countries we checked.

Can I use a VPN to get Google Opinion Rewards in Pakistan?

No. Google uses your Google Account country, not your location, to decide eligibility and currency. A VPN does not change your account country.

Do Google Play credits expire?

Yes. Each credit from Opinion Rewards expires one year after the date it was earned, under Google's own terms.

Is there a Google survey app that pays JazzCash?

Not from Google. An app promising JazzCash or Easypaisa cash for "Google surveys" is a third party, and one that asks a fee to withdraw is a warning sign.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

We read Google's Opinion Rewards help pages on availability and eligibility, redeeming rewards, earning rewards and the user overview on support.google.com on 24 October 2026, and counted the country list ourselves. We could not test the app from a Pakistani account because it is not offered here, and we could not confirm whether Google plans to add Pakistan. Google does not publish a date for new countries.
