Short answer: farmers who won the CM Punjab Green Tractor ballot for 50 to 65 horsepower tractors must collect their offer letter from the office of their district Deputy Director Agriculture (Extension) by 15 October 2026. If you do not collect it by then, the Punjab Agriculture Department says your allotment will be treated as cancelled.

The warning came in a department press release dated 8 October 2026. We read it, and the Phase IV ballot result page on the official Green Tractor portal, on 10 October 2026. The 50 to 65 horsepower round is Phase IV of the programme.

So a winner who has not visited the district office yet has very little time. The deadline falls on Thursday. Go early in the week.

Phase IV winners lose the tractor if the offer letter is not collected by 15 October

The 8 October release is short and direct. Successful farmers in the 50 to 65 horsepower ballot must make sure they collect their offer letter by 15 October 2026. If they do not, the allotment "will be considered cancelled". It ends by asking winners to collect the letter as soon as possible.

The release does not say whether a cancelled slot goes to a waiting list or a fresh ballot. It also does not mention any extension. Plan on the date holding.

Check your name on the Phase IV ballot result first

The official portal at gts.punjab.gov.pk has a "Ballot Result, Phase IV" link. It opens a form that asks for your CNIC and a captcha. Enter the 13 digits without dashes and submit.

The result page carries a clear warning. It calls the list provisional and "subject to errors and omissions". It says the land of every winner will be checked again against PLRA land records, the Punjab Land Records Authority database, to confirm or cancel the allotment. Every winner is also screened against Schedule IV, the federal list of persons under watch for terrorism links.

So winning the ballot is not the end. A farmer whose land record does not match can still lose the tractor. If you have a pending inheritance or land mutation in Punjab, sort out the fard before you go.

How to collect the Green Tractor offer letter

Collect the letter in person from the Deputy Director Agriculture (Extension) office in your own district. The result page says allotment letters are issued there. Neither the release nor the portal lists the papers you must bring, so carry the obvious ones.

  1. Check your CNIC on the Phase IV ballot result page and screenshot the result.
  2. Take your original CNIC and a photocopy.
  3. Take a current fard, the land ownership extract, for the land you applied with.
  4. Go to the Deputy Director Agriculture (Extension) office in your district before 15 October 2026.
  5. Sign for the offer letter and keep a copy. Ask the office what the next payment step is and its date.

The fard and screenshot are our advice, not a published requirement. They are the records the department says it will check, so having them can save a second trip. If the office asks for something else, the Agriculture Helpline is 0800-17000.

Five steps to collect a Punjab Green Tractor Phase IV offer letter before 15 October 2026

What winners pay after the offer letter

The offer letter is not the tractor. After it, the farmer pays his own share of the tractor price and the fees. The Phase V terms on the same portal list them: the farmer's share, registration fee, card fee, additional registration mark fee and transaction fee, all within the period stated after the allotment letter.

Those are Phase V terms. The portal does not publish separate Phase IV terms, so check the payment period printed on your own letter. Phase V also says the tractor must stay in the farmer's name for at least three years, and selling it earlier is an offence. Expect the same rule for Phase IV.

The Phase IV subsidy is reported at Rs 750,000 a tractor. We could not find that figure on a government page, so treat it as reported until your letter confirms it. Phase V, for 75 to 125 horsepower tractors, offers Rs 1,000,000 according to the portal.

Farmers who missed Phase IV can still apply for Phase V

Phase V is open to farmers with at least 7 acres of verified land. Winners of any earlier phase and Kissan Card defaulters cannot apply. Our step by step on how to apply online for the Green Tractor scheme Phase 5 covers the form and the brand list.

Kissan Card holders should note the overlap. Card bills for this season are due by 26 October 2026, and a default would bar you from Phase V, as set out in our report on the Kissan Card bill deadline.
