Karachi Board HSC Part 1 Pre-Engineering Result 2026 Out: Check by Roll Number
BIEK posted the Karachi Board HSC Part 1 Pre-Engineering result 2026 on 2 October. Check by roll number in the gazette, plus reported figures and scrutiny fee.

The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) has announced the HSC Part 1 Pre-Engineering result 2026. The board's results page lists it with the date 2 October 2026 and links a 129-page result gazette. You check your result by finding your roll number in that gazette.
We opened the BIEK results page and downloaded the gazette on the evening of 2 October. It is a PDF of about 2.4 MB. It lists every passing roll number college by college, with marks in brackets next to each one.
There is no separate roll number search box on the BIEK site for this result. The gazette is the result.
BIEK posted the Part 1 Pre-Engineering gazette on 2 October
BIEK's "Recent Result Declaration" page now shows "Pre-Engineering Part-I" dated 02-10-2026, at the top of its 2026 list. The link opens the result gazette for the Intermediate Science Pre-Engineering Group Part I, Class XI, Annual Examination 2026.
The gazette's heading says the candidates whose roll numbers follow "are declared to have passed". Under each college, candidates are grouped by how many papers they passed, from 1 paper up to 6 papers.
This is the first Part 1 result of the 2026 annual exams on the page. The other Part 1 groups, such as Pre-Medical, Commerce and Humanities, were not listed when we checked.

Check your result by roll number in the gazette
To check the Karachi Board HSC Part 1 result, open the gazette PDF from biek.edu.pk and search for your six-digit roll number. If it appears, the figure in brackets next to it is your marks. The heading above that group shows how many papers you passed.
- Go to biek.edu.pk and open "Recent Result Declaration".
- Tap "Pre-Engineering Part-I (02-10-2026)" to open the gazette.
- Use Find (Ctrl+F on a computer, the search option in your phone's PDF viewer) and type your roll number.
- Read the marks in brackets, then look at the "Papers" line below that block to see how many papers you passed.
- If your roll number is missing, check that you are searching the right gazette, then contact your college.
A missing roll number usually means no paper was passed. But a typing slip is common too, so search twice before you panic. The gazette lists only passing candidates. It does not show subject-wise marks. Boards elsewhere work differently, and the HSSC result 2026 by roll number for each board has its own route.
Class 11 results come from BIEK, not the secondary board, BSEK. When we tested the Sindh board result sites in August, biek.edu.pk loaded with current content, and it loaded again on 2 October.

About 6,310 students passed all six papers, BIEK reported
BIEK's Controller of Examinations put the total at 14,683 candidates, with 6,310 passing all six papers, according to reports on 2 October. BIEK has not posted these figures on its own site. The gazette itself has no pass percentage.
The reported breakdown is below. We have added the last two rows ourselves from the reported numbers.
| Papers passed | Candidates (reported) |
|---|---|
| All 6 papers | 6,310 |
| 5 papers | 79 |
| 4 papers | 747 |
| 3 papers | 1,827 |
| 2 papers | 1,864 |
| 1 paper | 1,783 |
| At least 1 paper (our sum) | 12,610 |
| No paper passed (our working) | 2,073 |
On those numbers, about 43 per cent of candidates cleared all six papers. That is a hard year for a lot of families.
Our own count of roll numbers in the gazette is 12,584. That is 26 fewer than the reported 12,610. The gap is small, but the two do not match exactly, so treat the reported figures as close rather than final.

No position holders are named in the gazette
The BIEK gazette does not name toppers or position holders. It lists roll numbers and marks only. We found no official BIEK notice of positions for this result on its press release or notifications pages.
BIEK's home page mentions result declarations and medal award ceremonies as board events. Until the board posts names, any list of Pre-Engineering toppers is unofficial.
Scrutiny costs Rs 1,000 a paper, deadline not posted
BIEK's scrutiny form sets the fee at Rs 1,000 per paper. You attach a photocopy of your HSC marksheet. The board had not posted a scrutiny deadline for this result on its notifications page when we checked on 2 October.
Scrutiny is not a fresh marking. The form says plainly that the answer script "shall not be re-assessed", and that re-checking does not mean re-evaluation. In practice, staff check that every answer was marked and that the marks were added up correctly.
- Fee: Rs 1,000 for each paper you want checked.
- Attach: a photocopy of your HSC marksheet.
- Office hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
- Complaints: complaint@biek.edu.pk.
Watch the BIEK notifications page for the deadline, and apply as soon as it appears. Rules differ from board to board. HSSC result rechecking in Punjab, for example, uses its own forms and fees.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
Last checked on 2 October 2026 at about 9:45 pm Pakistan time. We read the result listing and downloaded the gazette from the BIEK results page, and counted the roll numbers in it ourselves. The Rs 1,000 scrutiny fee, the documents and the office hours come from BIEK's scrutiny form. The candidate totals by papers passed were announced by BIEK's Controller of Examinations and reported in the press, but BIEK has not published them, so we mark them as reported. No scrutiny deadline or position list was on BIEK's notifications or press release pages.
