Karachi Weather 27 and 28 October 2026: 36 to 38°C, Dry Week and Every Sindh City's Forecast
Karachi will reach 36 to 38°C on 27 and 28 October 2026, PMD says, with no rain until 1 November. See Hyderabad, Thatta, Mithi and Sukkur's forecast too.

Karachi is forecast to reach 36 to 38°C on Tuesday 27 and Wednesday 28 October 2026, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) says, with dry weather and no rain in the week to Sunday 1 November. The city touched 38°C on PMD's 26 October table, and its morning low was 23°C.
This week stays hot by day even as the north turns cold. Below are PMD's figures for Karachi and the rest of Sindh, what changes over the week, and what the heat means for your electricity use, your commute and anyone working outdoors.
Karachi will be 36 to 38°C on Tuesday and Wednesday
PMD's daily forecast issued on 26 October gives Karachi a high of 36 to 38°C on Tuesday 27 October and the same on Wednesday 28 October. Monday's range was 37 to 39°C, so the heat eases by about one degree.
| Day | Karachi high (PMD forecast) |
|---|---|
| Monday 26 October | 37 to 39°C |
| Tuesday 27 October | 36 to 38°C |
| Wednesday 28 October | 36 to 38°C |
PMD's Sindh line for Tuesday reads: dry weather in most districts, "while hot weather is likely during the daytime". The forecast gives no heatwave warning, and PMD has issued no heat press release this month. When we checked on 26 October, its newest press release was dated 9 October.

Mornings are 23°C, so the day swings by 15 degrees
Karachi's lowest temperature on PMD's 26 October table was 23°C and its highest 38°C. That is a gap of 15 degrees between early morning and mid afternoon, with humidity of 29 per cent on the forecast sheet.
Low humidity is why the heat feels dry rather than sticky this week. It also means sweat dries fast, so people working outside can lose water without noticing. Morning commutes before 9 am are pleasant; the hardest hours are around midday and early afternoon.
Thatta, Mithi and Hyderabad are just as hot
The heat covers lower Sindh, not only Karachi. Thatta and Mithi have the same 36 to 38°C forecast for Tuesday. Hyderabad is 34 to 36°C, Nawabshah 34 to 36°C, and Sukkur 33 to 35°C.
| City | Lowest, 26 Oct | Highest, 26 Oct table | Tuesday 27 Oct forecast |
|---|---|---|---|
| Karachi | 23°C | 38°C | 36 to 38°C |
| Thatta | 23°C | 38°C | 36 to 38°C |
| Mithi | 16°C | 38°C | 36 to 38°C |
| Hyderabad | 25°C | 36°C | 34 to 36°C |
| Nawabshah | 18°C | 36°C | 34 to 36°C |
| Sukkur | 19°C | 35°C | 33 to 35°C |
| Turbat (Balochistan) | 21°C | 38°C | 36 to 38°C |
Mithi shows the widest swing, from 16°C in the morning to 38°C. Desert air cools fast at night and heats fast by day. The rest of the country is far cooler; Skardu was minus 1°C on the same morning, as set out in Pakistan's weather this week.

No rain is forecast for Karachi until 1 November
PMD's weekly outlook issued on 26 October expects dry weather across most of the country through Sunday 1 November. Sindh is not named for rain on any day. The only rain in the week is around Chitral, in the far north.
The outlook says continental air is over most of Pakistan. That is dry air coming over land, not damp sea air, which explains the clear skies, the low humidity and the hot afternoons. PMD does not say when the heat will break.
Plan around the afternoon heat this week
The simplest plan is to move outdoor work and errands to the morning, drink water through the day and keep air conditioners off K-Electric's peak hours where you can. None of this is an official advisory; it follows from PMD's figures.
- Do outdoor jobs, deliveries and school walks before 11 am or after 5 pm.
- Carry water and drink regularly, even if you do not feel thirsty in the dry air.
- Keep children and older relatives out of parked cars and direct sun at midday.
- Run the air conditioner outside peak hours to cut your bill; the hours are in K-Electric peak hours.
- Check PMD's daily forecast each evening, as it is reissued every day.
Signs of heat exhaustion include heavy sweating, dizziness, headache and nausea. Move the person to shade, give water and call 1122 if they faint or become confused.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
Last checked 27 October 2026 at about 02:30 PKT. Karachi's forecast ranges, humidity and the Sindh line come from PMD's daily weather forecast, issued at 17:24 on 26 October, and its 3 days forecast page. The lowest and highest figures are from PMD's minimum and maximum temperature tables dated 26 October. The dry week comes from PMD's weekly outlook of 26 October. The 15 degree swing is our own arithmetic. The heat-safety steps are general guidance, not a PMD or NDMA advisory. PMD does not say whether its maximum table is Sunday's or Monday's afternoon, so we call it the 26 October table.
