The last date for KP Agriculture Extension minority quota jobs on ETEA projects 878 and 880 is now Thursday 5 November 2026, not 30 October. A corrigendum from the Directorate General Agriculture Extension, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, also deletes two conditions, including the one that let unfilled minority seats go to open merit. The 37 posts are 35 Field Assistants and 2 Junior Clerks.

The ETEA (Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency) jobs table now shows 5 November against both projects, with a corrigendum link. When we wrote up KP minority quota agriculture jobs on 24 October, the date was 30 October. We read the corrigendum and both original adverts on etea.online on 28 October 2026. Here is what changed, who can apply and how.

The deadline moved from 30 October to 5 November 2026

The corrigendum refers to advertisements INF(P)5228/26 and INF(P)5229/26, published in October, for Field Assistant (BS-09) and Junior Clerk (BS-11) under the 5% minority quota. It says the last date for online applications "may be read as 5th Nov, 2026 instead of 30th Oct, 2026".

That gives six more days. Nothing else about the posts, the age limits or the qualifications changes. The corrigendum carries its own number, INF(P)5307/26, and is signed by the Director General Agriculture Extension, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Peshawar.

Two conditions are deleted, and minority seats now stay with minorities

The corrigendum omits serial numbers 10 and 11 of the terms and conditions. In the original adverts, term 10 let the department raise or cut the number of vacancies, and term 11 said unfilled quota seats would be filled from open merit, with the quota carried forward.

  1. Term 10, now deleted: "Competent Authority reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of vacancies while mentioning a cogent reason thereof."
  2. Term 11, now deleted: "In case no suitable candidates are available against the above-mentioned quotas; the posts will be filled from the list of eligible shortlisted candidates/open merit."

The corrigendum gives no reason. Read plainly, the department can no longer hand an unfilled minority Field Assistant seat to an open merit candidate under this advert, and it has dropped the printed power to change the seat count. What the department does if too few minority candidates qualify is not stated, so treat that as open.

Two conditions deleted from the KP Agriculture Extension minority quota adverts

Only KP and merged district minority candidates can apply

Both adverts invite candidates with a Khyber Pakhtunkhwa or Merged Areas domicile under the 5% minority quota. The seats are reserved for minority candidates only. You must also meet the qualification and age on the closing date, which is now 5 November.

For Field Assistant, you need at least a second class science Matric and either a three year Diploma of Agriculture Sciences (DAS) from a recognised institute, or the two year Agriculture Services Academy course plus a six month condensed course. For Junior Clerk, you need at least a second class FA or FSc, 30 words a minute typing and MS Office skills.

Relevant government experience is preferred but not required. Age relaxation follows the usual government rules. If you are already a government employee, apply through proper channel.

Apply on ETEA and pay the Rs 700 fee before 5 November

You apply on the ETEA website after verifying your CNIC with an e-Sahulat token. ETEA's fee for BS-16 and below is Rs 700, and both posts are below that line. The adverts allow payment through the Easypaisa app, an Easypaisa agent or any UBL branch.

  1. Create your ETEA profile with a mobile number that is not ported.
  2. Print the e-Sahulat token and get your CNIC verified at a NADRA e-Sahulat franchise.
  3. Choose project 878 for Field Assistant or 880 for Junior Clerk and fill the form.
  4. Print the deposit slip with your token number and project code.
  5. Pay the fee through Easypaisa or UBL, and keep the stamped candidate copy.

Do not send documents to ETEA. Roll number slips come by SMS, and the slip shows the test date, time and venue. The full list of open ETEA projects and their dates is in our roundup of ETEA jobs closing in November.

Five steps to apply for ETEA projects 878 and 880 before 5 November 2026

Applicants who already applied do not need to apply again

The corrigendum changes the date and deletes two terms. It does not cancel any application already made or ask anybody to reapply. If you paid and submitted before 30 October, your form stands. Use the extra days only to check that your fee shows as received.

If you started a form and could not finish, for example because your CNIC was not yet verified, the six extra days are your chance. Do the e-Sahulat check first, because ETEA blocks the form without it.

Common questions

What is the new last date for KP Agriculture Field Assistant jobs?

5 November 2026, for ETEA project 878. It was 30 October before the corrigendum.

Did the Junior Clerk last date change too?

Yes. ETEA project 880, Junior Clerk BS-11, also closes on 5 November 2026.

Can unfilled minority seats go to open merit now?

Not under these adverts. The corrigendum deletes the term that allowed it. It does not say what happens instead.

Who can apply for these posts?

Minority candidates with a Khyber Pakhtunkhwa or Merged Areas domicile who meet the qualification and age on 5 November 2026.

Do I need to reapply if I applied before 30 October?

No. The corrigendum does not ask anyone to reapply. Check that your fee has been received.

What is the ETEA fee?

Rs 700 for posts in BS-16 and below, according to ETEA's FAQ. It is not refundable.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

We read the ETEA jobs table at etea.online on 28 October 2026, where projects 878 and 880 show 05-November-2026 with a corrigendum link. We read the corrigendum image (INF(P)5307/26) and the two original adverts, INF(P)5228/26 for Field Assistant and INF(P)5229/26 for Junior Clerk, the same day, and the fee answer on the ETEA FAQ page. The corrigendum gives no reason for the change and says nothing about what replaces term 11, and we could not confirm either. The six day extension is our own count.
