KP Board Matric Practical Exam 2026 Dates: Every Board's Annual-II Schedule

Matric supplementary practicals in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa run from 3 to 20 November 2026, and each board sets its own days: Kohat 3 to 8 November, Peshawar and Mardan 13 to 18 November, Abbottabad 14 to 20 November, and Malakand 17 to 19 November.

These are the practical exams of the SSC Annual-II 2026, the second chance for 9th and 10th class students who failed or want to improve. Students often hear a date from a cousin in another district and turn up on the wrong day. We read the revised date sheets of five KP boards on 31 October 2026 and put the practical days side by side, with the rules on who must sit and how to find your lab.

Each KP board holds its matric practicals on different days

Kohat finishes practicals before the others begin. Peshawar and Mardan share the same six days, 13 to 18 November. Abbottabad runs to 20 November, and Malakand packs all practicals into three days, 17 to 19 November 2026.

We could not read the practical schedules of BISE Swat, BISE Bannu and BISE Dera Ismail Khan. Swat's website refused our request and the Bannu and DI Khan sites did not load. Swat's written papers are in our report on the BISE Swat SSC Annual-II revised date sheet.

Kohat and Mardan practicals by day

Kohat alternates classes from 3 November: class 9 on odd days, class 10 the next. Mardan follows the same pattern from 13 November, and adds Physiology and Hygiene and Electrical Wiring to its list.

Peshawar, Abbottabad and Malakand practicals by day

Peshawar's practicals run from Friday 13 November to Wednesday 18 November. Abbottabad starts on Saturday 14 November with class 10 and ends on Friday 20 November with class 9. Malakand tests both classes on the same day in different sittings.

Peshawar's sheet is a scan and its class column is hard to read for some days. It sets class 9 first and class 10 the next day for Physics and Chemistry, and Biology, Computer Science, Physiology and Hygiene and Plumbing on 17 and 18 November. At Abbottabad, Food and Nutrition sits with Physics and Health and Physical Education with Chemistry. Malakand pairs Physics with Health and Physical Education, and Chemistry with Food and Nutrition. Practical marks are almost the same across KP boards

Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Food and Nutrition, and Health and Physical Education carry 10 practical marks on every sheet we read. Computer Science carries 20 at four boards, but Malakand's sheet prints 10. Electrical Wiring and Plumbing carry 40 where offered.

Ten marks sounds small, but a missed practical counts as a missed part of the subject. For a student who failed only one subject, that can decide the whole certificate.

Find your lab and check whether you must sit

Your practical slip shows your group and sitting. Abbottabad lets you look up date, time and lab online by roll number. Malakand tells candidates to confirm the date and lab with their centre's superintendent or resident inspector, and lists a helpline, 0345-7066766.

1. Download or collect your practical roll number slip from your board.
2. Note your group: first, second or third sitting.
3. Confirm the lab with your centre or on the board website.
4. Check whether your case needs the practical at all.
5. Arrive early with both your written and practical slips.

BISE Abbottabad's rule, issued with its slips, is clear: improvement candidates who scored full practical marks before need not sit again, but compartment and re-appear candidates must sit the practical even with full marks. The other boards' sheets do not state this rule, so ask your own board before skipping a practical.

When are the KP board matric practical exams 2026?

Between 3 and 20 November 2026, depending on the board. Kohat is first and Abbottabad last.

When are the BISE Peshawar matric practicals?

From Friday 13 to Wednesday 18 November 2026, in three sittings a day.

When are the BISE Malakand matric practicals?

On 17, 18 and 19 November 2026, for both class 9 and class 10.

How many marks is the Computer Science practical?

20 marks at Kohat, Peshawar, Mardan and Abbottabad. Malakand's practical sheet lists 10. Physics, Chemistry and Biology carry 10 each.

Do I need to repeat a practical if I am improving marks?

At Abbottabad, not if you had full practical marks before. Other boards do not state the rule on their sheets, so ask yours.

Where are the Swat, Bannu and DI Khan practical dates?

We could not open those boards' websites. Check your roll number slip or call your board.
