The University of Health Sciences (UHS), Lahore, uploaded the MDCAT 2026 question paper on its website on Monday 2 November 2026, and candidates who think the answer key is wrong must file a complaint on the UHS complaint portal by 6:00 pm on Tuesday 3 November 2026. All four versions of the paper, IDs A, B, C and D, are now public. The portal asks for your roll number, paper code and the email you registered with.

This is the first time UHS has put the full MDCAT paper online. It did so, in its own words, in compliance with an order of the Lahore High Court, Rawalpindi Bench. If you sat the test on 20 September 2026 and lost marks on a question you are sure about, you have roughly one day to act. Below is what the notice says, how the portal works and what to prepare.

UHS put all four MDCAT 2026 papers online on 2 November 2026

UHS public notice UHS/CoE/26/9871, dated 2 November 2026 and signed by the Controller of Examinations, says the MDCAT 2026 question paper has been uploaded for the information of candidates. We opened all four paper files on the UHS website the same evening.

The notice links the upload to the Lahore High Court, Rawalpindi Bench, order of 16 October 2026 in Writ Petition No. 3516 of 2026. That is the ruling on collecting MDCAT question papers back from candidates, which was first reported on 16 October. The UHS notice is the first official document we have seen that names the petition and applies the order to the 2026 paper.

Each paper says "MDCAT-2026, For F.Sc. and Non-F.Sc. Students" on its first page. Each has 180 MCQs, carries 180 marks and allowed 3 hours. The four versions carry the same questions in a different order, which is why your paper ID matters when you compare answers.

MDCAT 2026 answer key complaint deadline of 3 November 2026 at 6 pm on the UHS portal

Answer key complaints close on 3 November 2026 at 6:00 pm

UHS says complaints about the MDCAT 2026 question paper and answer key must reach it through the UHS complaint portal by 3 November 2026, up to 6:00 pm. The notice adds that no complaint will be entertained after the portal closes, so a late email or office visit will not count.

That leaves a short window. If you are reading this on 3 November, start now and keep your roll number slip next to you. The portal is at portals.uhs.edu.pk/mdcat_complaints, and it opened for us on the evening of 2 November.

The portal asks for a book reference for every disputed question

The portal has three steps: verify your roll number, list the key discrepancies, then submit. For each question you dispute, it asks for the subject, the question number, a description of what the key says against what you believe is correct, and evidence.

The evidence box asks for the book title, edition, author and page number. So a complaint that only says "the key is wrong" is weak. Name the textbook and the page that supports your answer. Most candidates will use the Punjab or federal FSc textbooks they studied from.

The subject list on the form is English, Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Logical Reasoning. You can add several questions before you submit. Each one you add appears in a list with a delete button, so you can check them before the final step.

  1. Download the paper with your own paper ID (A, B, C or D) from the UHS website.
  2. Compare each answer you marked with the MDCAT 2026 answer key.
  3. For each disputed question, find the textbook page that supports your answer.
  4. Open portals.uhs.edu.pk/mdcat_complaints and enter your roll number, paper code and registered email.
  5. Add each question with its subject, number, description and book reference.
  6. Submit before 6:00 pm on 3 November 2026 and keep a screenshot.
Steps to file an MDCAT 2026 answer key complaint on the UHS portal

The MDCAT 2026 paper runs Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English, then Logical Reasoning

The paper has no printed section headings, so we read paper A question by question. Questions 1 to 81 are Biology, 82 to 126 Chemistry, 127 to 162 Physics, 163 to 171 English and 172 to 180 Logical Reasoning. That gives 81, 45, 36, 9 and 9 questions.

This split is our reading of the questions, not a table printed by UHS. We checked the other three papers too. The subject blocks start at the same numbers, but the questions inside each block are shuffled. "HIV stands for" is question 1 in paper A, 72 in paper B, 61 in paper C and 51 in paper D. So always use the question number printed on your own paper when you file a complaint.

Nothing in the notice says the MDCAT 2026 result will change

The notice only invites complaints. It does not say how UHS will decide them, when it will reply, or whether any decision will change published scores. We are not going to guess. If UHS revises the key, it would normally say so in a fresh notice on its website.

Your current score and aggregate still stand for now. The steps to check your MDCAT 2026 result and work out your aggregate are unchanged. Public sector MBBS and BDS admissions in Punjab are already under way, and the merit rules sit in the Punjab MBBS and BDS admission policy for 2026-27.

One practical point. A complaint is only worth filing for a question where you are sure and can show a source. A long list of weak claims takes time you do not have before 6:00 pm.

Common questions

Your MDCAT roll number, your paper code (A, B, C or D) and the email address you registered with.

Can I complain by email or at the UHS office instead?

The notice names only the online portal. We found no other route in it, so use the portal.

Why did UHS release the paper now?

The notice says it is complying with the Lahore High Court, Rawalpindi Bench, order of 16 October 2026 in Writ Petition No. 3516 of 2026.

Will my MDCAT 2026 score change?

The notice does not say. It only invites complaints, so treat your current score as final until UHS announces otherwise.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

Last checked 2 November 2026 at about 23:00 PKT. We read UHS public notice UHS/CoE/26/9871 of 2 November 2026 on the UHS website, opened the four MDCAT 2026 paper files for IDs A, B, C and D, and opened the UHS MDCAT complaint portal to read its fields. We did not log in, because that needs a candidate's roll number. The subject split is our own reading of paper A. We could not read the court order itself, and UHS has not said how or when complaints will be decided.
