How to Check Your MDCAT 2026 Result and Work Out Your Aggregate

Punjab candidates: open results.uhs.edu.pk/Results/main, tap the entry test option, pick MDCAT 2026 and enter your roll number and name exactly as they appear on your admittance card. You need 55 per cent (99 of 180) for MBBS and 50 per cent (90 of 180) for BDS. Your admission aggregate is 50 per cent MDCAT, 40 per cent FSc and 10 per cent matric.

The University of Health Sciences (UHS), Lahore put the result online after the 20 September test. The MDCAT 2026 result for Punjab is reported to have been declared on 24 September, and we found it live on the UHS portal on 25 September 2026.

A pass only lets you apply. The seat depends on your aggregate, and that number is easy to work out yourself. We show how below, with four worked examples.

You check the UHS MDCAT result with your roll number and name

The UHS result search asks for two things: your MDCAT 2026 roll number and your name, both as printed on the admittance card. There is no password. You also have to tick a reCAPTCHA box before the Submit button works.

We went through the portal ourselves on 25 September. The result is not on the main UHS homepage. It sits on a separate results site that opens with a page of big picture buttons.

1. Open results.uhs.edu.pk/Results/main in Chrome or another up-to-date browser.
2. Tap the ET (entry test) button. The MBBS and BDS buttons are for university exams of students already in college, not for the MDCAT.
3. At the top of the list, find "The Result of MDCAT 2026 for candidates seeking admissions to Medical and Dental Institutions in Punjab, held on 20 September 2026".
4. Tap "Search Result" on that line. The page that opens is results.uhs.edu.pk/Results/default?r=ETPJB_2026.
5. Type your roll number and your name as they appear on the admittance card, tick the reCAPTCHA, then tap Submit.
6. Take a screenshot or save the page as a PDF. You will want the exact marks when you work out your aggregate.

The "View Title Page" link beside the result opens a file on Google Drive. When we tried it, Google asked us to sign in, so we could not read it. Your own marks come from the search, not from that file.

Only Punjab results are on the UHS portal

MDCAT 2026 was held on one day, 20 September, but each region's university ran its own paper and declares its own result. If you sat the test outside Punjab, your result will not be on the UHS site, however many times you search.

SZABMU's notice says answer key complaints were reviewed across all four paper codes and corrections made before its updated result. Other universities may do the same, so a result posted early can change.

PMDC's own result page on pmdc.pk only covers the 2020 to 2022 sessions, when the council ran the test itself. Do not wait for a 2026 result there.

Your aggregate is 50 per cent MDCAT, 40 per cent FSc and 10 per cent matric

Punjab public colleges rank candidates by one number, the aggregate percentage. It adds your MDCAT, FSc and matric marks after weighting them 50, 40 and 10. The same split is written into PMDC's admission regulations for public and private colleges across Pakistan.

We read the weights in two places. PMDC's Medical and Dental Undergraduate Education (Admissions, Curriculum and Conduct) Policy and Regulations 2025 set them for all public and private colleges. The UHS prospectus for Punjab public colleges, session 2025-26, repeats them and gives a worked formula in its Annexure IV.

Written as one line, the formula is simple:

Aggregate = (matric marks ÷ matric total × 10) + (FSc marks ÷ FSc total × 40) + (MDCAT marks ÷ 180 × 50)

UHS rounds the final figure to four decimal places. It also says no marks are cut for extra attempts at FSc. We found no extra marks for being a Hafiz-e-Quran in either the PMDC regulations or the 2025-26 Punjab prospectus, so do not add any.

The UHS 2026-27 prospectus was not out when we checked. The 2025-26 rules are the latest published, and PMDC's 50, 40, 10 split binds every admitting university. Confirm against the new prospectus once UHS posts it.

Worked examples show one MDCAT mark beats eight FSc marks

We computed these four cases ourselves from the formula above, using a matric total of 1,100, an FSc total of 1,200 and an MDCAT total of 180. Your board totals may differ. If so, put your own totals into the formula.

Look at A, B and C. Ten MDCAT marks cost B 2.78 points. A hundred FSc marks cost C 3.33 points. Each MDCAT mark is worth about 0.28 of a point, each FSc mark about 0.033, and each matric mark about 0.009.

So one MDCAT mark is worth roughly eight FSc marks. That is why a few questions on the day move you further than a whole rechecked FSc paper usually can.

Candidate E shows the other side. Passing at 99 marks is a real result, but an aggregate in the sixties will not compete for an open merit seat in a Punjab public college. Knowing that now helps you plan private colleges, BDS or other routes early.

Check these things before you trust your number

Before you plan around your aggregate, confirm three things: that you meet the FSc eligibility bar, that your MDCAT score clears the pass mark, and that your FSc result is final. A mistake in any one changes the whole plan.

• FSc at least 60 per cent. PMDC's regulations and the UHS prospectus both require at least 60 per cent in FSc Pre-Medical or an equivalent, with biology and chemistry passed.
• MDCAT at least 55 per cent for MBBS, 50 per cent for BDS. The UHS prospectus states these minimums. On 180 questions that is 99 and 90 marks.
• Your final FSc marks. If you applied for rechecking of your 12th class result, your aggregate can change. The Punjab boards' 12th class result came out on 23 September, and the rechecking process for Punjab boards has its own deadlines.
• A foreign or A level qualification. UHS needs an IBCC equivalence certificate that shows your marks converted, and it is your job to settle it.

The 2025-26 prospectus also accepted an MDCAT pass from the previous years. Check whether the 2026-27 prospectus keeps that rule if you sat before.

Fixes for a slow portal, a missing roll number or wrong marks

Most problems on result day come from the wrong button, a wrong spelling of the name, or a busy server. Wrong marks are rarer and have a formal route. Here is what to try, in order, before you panic.

• The page will not load. Try outside peak hours, such as early morning. Use a normal browser, not a result site or an app that claims to fetch it for you.
• "No record" or a blank result. Check that you picked the MDCAT 2026 line under the entry test option. Then type your name exactly as it is on the admittance card, including spacing.
• You lost your roll number. It is on the UHS admittance card. Your registration is on the PMDC portal at mdcat.pmdc.pk, which logs in with your CNIC and a password and has a "Forgot password" link. We did not test whether the roll number shows there.
• You think your marks are wrong. The answer key complaint window has closed. UHS ran it from 5:00 pm on 22 September to 5:00 pm on 23 September 2026. The window for complaints about the question paper was 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm on 20 September.
• Recounting. After the 2025 result, UHS published a recounting form. It cost Rs 4,000 for recounting, or Rs 7,000 with a personal review, and asked for the carbon copy of your response form. When we checked on 25 September 2026, UHS had posted no 2026 form. Keep your carbon copy safe in case one appears.

For anything the portal cannot solve, the UHS results portal lists 042-111-33-33-66, and UHS notices give the office line 042-99231304-9.

Fake merit lists and seat agents target MDCAT families

Nobody can sell you a public college seat. Punjab seats are given only by UHS merit lists on its own site, based on the aggregate above. Anyone who asks for money to "confirm" or "upgrade" a seat is running a scam, however official they sound.

PMDC's own MDCAT notice warns candidates to follow news only through its website and official channels, and says it is not responsible for misleading information on social media. That warning matters most this week.

Watch for merit lists shared as images on WhatsApp before UHS has even opened applications. Watch for "closing merit" predictions presented as fact. Last year the first Punjab public MBBS selection list came on 1 December 2025, ten days after applications closed.

Never type your CNIC, roll number and phone number into a lookalike result site. The only UHS addresses you need end in uhs.edu.pk. The UHS result portal's own code even sends visitors arriving from one unofficial result site to a separate page.

Next come the UHS admission portal and merit lists

UHS had not announced the 2026-27 MBBS and BDS admission dates on 25 September 2026. Its admission news page listed only the admittance card notices. So any date you see today for the Punjab admission portal is a guess.

Last year gives a guide to the order, not the dates. For 2025-26, UHS took online applications on separate portals, public-mbbs.uhs.edu.pk and public-bds.uhs.edu.pk, from 7 to 21 November 2025. The application processing fee was Rs 2,000. Then came a provisional merit list, a final merit list and college-wise selection lists.

PMDC's regulations set outer limits. Public medical college admissions must end by 31 December, private medical by 31 January, public dental by 15 February and private dental by 28 February each year.

If you sat in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and are also weighing nursing, pharmacy or allied health, the KMU CAT registration for 2026 closes on 28 September. And if your score hurt, the first days after a disappointing result are worth handling calmly.

How do I check my MDCAT 2026 result in Punjab?

Open results.uhs.edu.pk/Results/main, tap the entry test button, choose MDCAT 2026 and tap Search Result. Enter your roll number and name as on your admittance card, then complete the reCAPTCHA.

Can I check the UHS MDCAT result by CNIC?

No. The UHS search form we used asks for roll number and name only. Your CNIC is used to log in to the PMDC registration portal, which is a different site.

What is the MDCAT 2026 passing mark?

55 per cent for MBBS and 50 per cent for BDS, as stated in the UHS prospectus. With 180 questions that is 99 and 90 marks.

How is the MBBS aggregate calculated in Punjab?

MDCAT carries 50 per cent, FSc 40 per cent and matric 10 per cent. Divide each score by its total, multiply by its weight and add the three.

Do Hafiz-e-Quran candidates get extra marks?

Not under the rules we read. Neither the PMDC 2025 admission regulations nor the 2025-26 Punjab prospectus adds marks for Hafiz-e-Quran.

Can I get my MDCAT paper rechecked?

No 2026 recounting form had been published by UHS on 25 September 2026. Last year UHS offered recounting for Rs 4,000, or Rs 7,000 with a personal review.

When will the UHS merit list come out?

UHS had not announced it when we checked. Last year the first public MBBS selection list came on 1 December 2025, after applications closed on 21 November.
