12th Class Result 2026 for Punjab Boards Comes on 23 September at 10:00

The 12th class result 2026 for Punjab boards will be announced on Wednesday 23 September 2026 at 10:00 PKT. The Sargodha board fixed the date in Press Note 716 on 17 September, and the same time applies to all nine Punjab boards under a shared calendar reported by ProPakistani. Result cards can be printed from board websites afterwards, and Sargodha has said its download window closes on 4 October. The federal board announced its own HSSC result two weeks earlier, on 9 September.

The press note is one page of Urdu on Sargodha board letterhead, signed by the Controller of Examinations, and it says what the result blogs have been guessing at for a month: the Intermediate Part II first annual examination 2026 result is announced on 23-09-2026 at 10:00 AM. We read it on the board's site on 17 September. Some blogs had been printing 18 September. They were wrong.

About 85.95 per cent of the federal board's HSSC Part II candidates passed this year, as Dunya News reported from the FBISE announcement on 9 September, which is the nearest comparison Punjab students have until their own gazettes appear. We read the FBISE circular on fbise.edu.pk that scheduled that announcement for 11:30 am on 9 September, with the federal education minister presenting it.

When is the 12th class result 2026 for Punjab boards?

23 September 2026 at 10:00 PKT, for the Intermediate Part II first annual examination. The Sargodha press note gives that date and time. ProPakistani and TechJuice reported on 4 September that the Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen set the same slot for Lahore, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, Sargodha, Bahawalpur, Dera Ghazi Khan and Sahiwal.

Lahore board is reported to name its position holders a day earlier, on Tuesday 22 September at 4:00 PM. Position holder ceremonies happen before the result every year, so the timing fits, but we could not find a Lahore board notice for it. The Lahore notifications page on 17 September listed date sheets and admission schedules and nothing about the result.

Which websites are official for checking the result?

Each board has its own portal, and the addresses are not the ones a student would guess. We opened every one on 17 September. Seven answered. Dera Ghazi Khan did not resolve at all, and the Punjab Boards Committee site, pbccr.edu.pk, was also down.

Three boards redirect. Rawalpindi's old address, biserwp.edu.pk, now sends you to biserawalpindi.edu.pk, which lists results.biserawalpindi.edu.pk for results. Multan sends you to web.bisemultan.edu.pk. Sargodha lands on bisesargodha.edu.pk/content/index.aspx, and that is where the press note sits. Bahawalpur still answers only without www, because its security certificate names bisebwp.edu.pk alone. We found the same fault when we tested every Punjab board result site in August, so nobody fixed it.

Lahore's portal, result.biselahore.com, is the simplest. Pick Intermediate, then Part-II (ANNUAL), then 2026, type the roll number, solve the captcha. Gujranwala's home page has the same search built in, and lets you search by form number or roll number.

Checking on the Lahore board portal

1. Open result.biselahore.com. The board's main site links to it from the Online Results button.
2. Choose Intermediate as the exam and Part-II (ANNUAL) as the part.
3. Pick 2026 from the year list.
4. Type the roll number exactly as it appears on the roll number slip.
5. Enter the captcha and submit.
6. Save the page as a PDF straight away. The portal slows down within minutes of 10:00.

The roll number is the only thing you need. Sites asking for a phone number, a CNIC or a payment to show marks are not the board.

Is there an SMS code for the result?

Every Punjab board runs an SMS result service, and news sites have printed a six digit code for each board this week. None of those codes appeared on any board website when we looked on 17 September, so we are not printing them. A board publishes its code with the result announcement, and that is the place to copy it from.

Why so careful? Because a wrong portal address wastes a minute, and a wrong SMS code costs money and returns nothing. The codes also change between years. On 23 September, take the code from the board's own notice or from the newspaper advertisement the board pays for, not from a blog that guessed the date wrong.

What should you do if the result site is down?

Wait ten minutes and try again, then try the board's alternate address, then the SMS route from the board's notice. The portals buckle in the first half hour every year because a few hundred thousand students hit them at once. The result does not change while you wait.

• Try the address without www, or with it, whichever you did not use. Bahawalpur only works one way.
• Try the board's second domain: results.biserawalpindi.edu.pk for Rawalpindi, web.bisemultan.edu.pk for Multan.
• Use mobile data instead of college Wi-Fi, which is shared by everybody in the building doing the same thing.
• Ask your college. Regular candidates' results reach institutions through their own login, and Sargodha's press note says regular students print their result card through the institution user.
• The gazette PDF each board publishes after the announcement is searchable by roll number and is a smaller download than the portal.

Be careful with the wait, too. A result is a number, and a bad one is not an emergency, even when the house treats it like one. The pressure around exam results does more damage in some families than the marks do.

How do you get the result card and apply for rechecking?

The result card is a PDF you print yourself. Sargodha's press note says candidates can print an A4 result card from the board website until 4 October 2026, regular students through their college's user account and private students directly. The Punjab boards moved to QR verified digital result cards this year, so the printout carries a code an admissions office can scan.

Rechecking, which in Punjab means a re-count and a check that every page was marked, is applied for online. Gujranwala runs it at services.bisegrw.edu.pk/Rechecking, Rawalpindi at rechecking.biserawalpindi.edu.pk, and Bahawalpur at rc.bisebwp.pk. On 17 September those portals were open for the 9th and 10th class results, and the Part II option appears once the result is out. The fee and the number of days allowed are set in each board's rechecking notice, which none of them had published for HSSC 2026 when we looked. Expect a window measured in days, not weeks.

Supplementary, called the second annual examination, is the route for a failed subject. Lahore's admission schedule for the SSC second annual 2026 is already up, and the HSSC one normally follows the result by a week or two. Check the board's notifications page from 24 September onwards rather than a blog's guess. Anybody weighing options after the result can use the same logic that applies to checking board results online across Pakistan: the board's own page first, everything else second.
