The final runs from 7 to 10 November at Iqbal Stadium
The National U19 Championship final is a four-day red-ball match at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad, from Saturday 7 to Tuesday 10 November 2026. The PCB confirmed the venue and dates on 4 November, the day both semi-finals ended.
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| Match | Lahore Blues v Rawalpindi |
| Dates | Saturday 7 to Tuesday 10 November 2026 |
| Length | Four days, red ball |
| Venue | Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad |
| Lahore Blues' route | Drew with Peshawar Whites, through on a 34-run first-innings lead |
| Rawalpindi's route | Beat Lahore Whites by six wickets |
The semi-finals lasted three days, with each first innings limited to 70 overs. The final has a fourth day, which gives more time for a result. The board's reports did not say whether the 70-over cap or the first-innings-lead rule applies in the final, so we have not assumed it.
This is a different event from the 50-over National U19 Cup, which finished on 26 October. Our explainer on the National U19 Cup and the National U19 Championship sets out how the two differ.
Lahore Blues drew with Peshawar Whites and went through on first innings
Lahore Blues made 296 in their 70 first-innings overs and bowled Peshawar Whites out for 262, a lead of 34. They then made 301 in the second innings and set a target of 336. Peshawar Whites were 93 for 4 when the match ended in a draw, so the first-innings lead sent Lahore Blues through.
Daud Tauqir Rana, who recently played for Pakistan U17 against Sri Lanka, scored 125 off 206 balls with 18 fours. Hammad Asif made 66 and then 130, which makes him the top scorer of both semi-finals with 196 runs. Naqeebullah added 23 and 66.
The bowling was shared. Off-spinner Ibtisam Azhar took 4 for 69 and Basit Ali 3 for 52 in Peshawar's first innings. For Peshawar, Akber Ali scored 57 and then took 5 for 48 in Lahore's second innings, and Ameer Hamza made 81.

Rawalpindi beat Lahore Whites by six wickets
Rawalpindi bowled Lahore Whites out for 161 and 215, then chased 111 to win by six wickets at the Saeed Ajmal Cricket Academy, Faisalabad. Left-arm spinner Mohammad Hasan Khan took 5 for 50 and 6 for 77, which is 11 wickets in the match. Muhammad Shoaib made 112 not out.
Shoaib's hundred gave Rawalpindi 266 for 8 in their 70 overs and a lead of 105. Lahore Whites fought back through Ahmad Khawaja's 96 and Ali Khokhar's 53 in the second innings. Sikandar Hamza took 3 for 45 and 4 for 60, so he and Hasan Khan shared 18 of the 20 wickets.
On the last day Idrees Hayat made 57 to steer the chase. Taj Muhammad, who took 4 for 85 in Rawalpindi's first innings, took 2 for 36 in the second. Aliyan Salman's 60 was Lahore Whites' best first-innings score.

Players to watch in the final
The final looks like Lahore Blues' batting against Rawalpindi's spin. Hammad Asif and Daud Tauqir Rana scored 321 runs between them in one semi-final. Hasan Khan and Sikandar Hamza took 18 wickets in the other.
| Player | Team | Semi-final |

Final squads had not been published when we checked. The board's reports name only the players who batted or bowled in the semi-finals. Players picked for age-group national teams can miss domestic games, so check the toss on Saturday morning for each XI. Pakistan's U19 Asia Cup squad, which plays in Oman from 6 November, is on our page about the Pakistan U19 squad for the Asia Cup.
Two numbers in the PCB's reports do not match
The board's day one report gives Lahore Blues' first innings as 296 for 8 in its text and 296 for 7 in its scores in brief. Later reports use 296 for 7. Peshawar's side is called Peshawar Whites in the text and Peshawar U19 in the scores. Neither changes the result.
We show 296 for 7 in this page, because that is the figure the board repeated in the next two reports. If you need the exact fall of wickets, the full scorecard on the PCB match centre is the record.
