NICOP Fee in Qatar: QR 75, 110 or 150 at the Doha Embassy (Renewal, Lost, FRC)
NICOP fee in Qatar: QR 75 normal, QR 110 urgent and QR 150 executive at Doha's embassy for new, renewal or lost cards, plus the QR 40 FRC and the payment rule.

A Smart NICOP in Qatar costs QR 75 on normal processing, QR 110 urgent and QR 150 executive at the NADRA centre in the Embassy of Pakistan in Doha. The same three prices apply to a new card, a renewal, a duplicate and most changes. A bank fee of QR 3 is added to each payment, and a Family Registration Certificate costs QR 40.
We read the Doha embassy's NADRA services page on 25 October 2026. Below are the fees and delivery times, the documents for each type of application, the card-only payment rule (your receipt expires the same day), and when the PakID app is the better route than queueing at the embassy.
NICOP fee in Qatar: QR 75, QR 110 or QR 150
The Doha NADRA centre charges QR 75 for normal, QR 110 for urgent and QR 150 for executive processing. The price is the same for a new Smart NICOP, a renewal, a duplicate after loss, and a modification other than a change of age.
| Smart NICOP service in Doha | Normal | Urgent | Executive |
|---|---|---|---|
| New Smart NICOP | QR 75 | QR 110 | QR 150 |
| Modification (except age) | QR 75 | QR 110 | QR 150 |
| Duplicate (lost card) | QR 75 | QR 110 | QR 150 |
| Renewal | QR 75 | QR 110 | QR 150 |
| Bank fee per transaction | QR 3 extra | ||
A change of age is left out of the price table. The page lists the documents for it but no fee, so ask at the token station before you pay. With the bank fee, a normal renewal comes to QR 78 at the counter.

Delivery takes 30, 20 or 7 days
Doha lists delivery as 30 days for normal, 20 days for urgent and 7 days for executive. Executive costs twice the normal fee and saves about three weeks. Urgent costs QR 35 more than normal and saves about ten days.
Pick the speed by your travel date, not by habit. The card matters most when you fly: an expired NICOP can cause trouble at the airport, as the rules on boarding with an expired NICOP explain. If your flight is more than a month away, normal is enough.

Pay by card at the token station, and use the receipt the same day
The fee is collected only by debit or credit card at the token station in the embassy's NADRA section. The receipt is valid for the same day only. So pay when you are ready to complete the application, not the day before.
The full process at the embassy runs in a fixed order. Carry a card that works in Qatar, because there is no cash option on the page.
- Take an NRC token and pay the fee by card at the token station.
- Have your photograph taken.
- Give your fingerprints and signature.
- Check the printed form after the data entry and correct any spelling.
- Complete attestation, submit the form, and keep your receipt.

Documents for each NICOP application in Doha
A renewal needs your original CNIC or NICOP and passport with copies. A first card needs a detailed birth certificate or matric certificate, your parents' or a sibling's ID cards, and a passport, Qatar ID or work permit. Each change has its own proof.
| Application | What Doha asks for (originals and copies) |
|---|---|
| Renewal | Current CNIC or NICOP and passport |
| Duplicate after loss | Copy or number of the lost card and a passport copy |
| First card (fresh) | Birth certificate with both parents, or S1 form, or matric certificate; parents', siblings' or grandparents' ID cards; passport, Qatar ID, residence or work permit |
| Child under 18 | Child's CRC, a parent's ID card and passports; a parent or guardian attends |
| Newborn | Parents' ID cards and passports, and the baby's birth certificate |
| Marital status | Your and your spouse's cards, plus the marriage, divorce or death certificate |
| Age change | Birth certificate (up to one year), matric certificate or court order |
| Permanent address | Property papers, utility bill or a CNIC showing that address |
If a parent's card is not available for a first application, the page allows an affidavit with one parent or sibling present for fingerprint checks. Bring the papers in full; a missing copy means a second visit and, with the same-day receipt rule, a second payment.
A Family Registration Certificate costs QR 40
The Doha centre issues the Family Registration Certificate (FRC) for QR 40. You can get it by birth, listing your parents and siblings, or by marriage, listing your spouse and children. Children under 18 to be added must come with you.
Every family member must already be in NADRA's record with complete parents' details, or they cannot be linked. A deceased member's card must be marked as cancelled before you apply. A blood relative (father, mother, son or daughter) must attend with their ID card. Inside Pakistan, the same NADRA family registration certificate is issued at registration centres.
When the PakID app is better than the embassy queue
NADRA's PakID app lets you renew or reprint a NICOP from Qatar without a token or a queue. The app shows the fee for your zone in US dollars before you pay, and the card is delivered abroad. The embassy is better when your fingerprints fail on the phone.
Use the app for a plain renewal or a lost card when your details are correct. Go to the embassy for a first card, a change of age or address, or if the app rejects your fingerprints. The steps for the NICOP online application on PakID list the documents per service. Doha also offers what its page calls "DUP clearance" for people flagged with a duplicate record; ask the NADRA section about it in person.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
We read the Embassy of Pakistan Doha's NADRA services page on 25 October 2026. Fees, delivery times, documents and the payment rule come from that page. The page lists no fee for a change of age and does not explain "DUP clearance". Online zone fees vary; we did not confirm which zone Qatar falls in. The Doha passport page on the same site was empty when we read it, so this page covers NADRA services only.
